The Community

How it works

This is a weekly Torchwood Challenge Community, where participants have one week to respond to a prompt. The response can be a work of fiction or art, but must be central to Torchwood.

Whether it be the group, Jack/Ianto, or even Myfanwy/Janet, this community to celebrate all things Torchwood and the boundless creativity within this brilliant fandom.

Prompts will be posted every Friday at 12am GMT (7pm EST), and will be open until the next Friday, where posting will end at 11.59pm GMT (6.59pm EST).

Voting will begin once all entries have been posted to the community by the Mods on Saturday.

Voting will end on Mondays at 11.59pm GMT.

Winners will be announced on Tuesdays once all the votes have been counted by the Mods.

A note to all – flaming any member within the community will NOT be tolerated, and will result in the offending member being banned from the community.

Responding to a Prompt	Voting	Links
The responses to prompts can be fics of any length you wish, or art work of any kind, be it icons or drawings, but MUST be Torchwood related. In order to respond to a challenge, you must post your work to the challenge post as a comment. These will be screened so that the mods can post them anonymously when voting ends. Alternatively, if you have an issue with the length of your fic, or any coding issues, you can email your work to myfanwysnest@googlemail.com It is also important to note that ALL types of fiction/art are welcome here, be it het, slash, AU, gen etc. If it's not your cup of tea, just don't read it. Please use the following format to post your work: Author/Artist: Title: Pairing: Rating: Genre: Warnings/Spoilers: Summary: Finally, don't post your fic anywhere else until the fics and winner have been announced, and please keep your work a secret so that the results are unbiased.	Votes should be given as comments to the vote post, and again these will be screened. Entrants to the challenge can also vote, just obviously do not vote for yourself! I will have a master list so don't try. :p Please feel free to leave feedback or concrit for the participant, as this can be given to participants to build on in future if they wish to have them.
