MyDec1110 should be up tomorrow -- it's pretty much ready to go right now but I need to stalk a few more Usual Suspects and get their opinions before I chuck it up.

(Also, apparently my idiot dog got an infected cut somehow so I'll probably be up in Springfield fetching him tonight, so no time!)

Listen up, chilluns! There is a fair amount of gore in this chapter, and Auntie is not joking when she suggests you put aside any tomato and pasta dishes you may be eating.

OK, one warning: There is a LOT of exposition in this chapter, to set up the last ones. I tried not to make it too obviously a dump but, well. I try not to go completely geeky but I failed this time -- mostly because I was at Diamond Lake for a week and my entire family insisted on watching CNN constantly and drove me to one of the bedrooms with my mp3 player and notebook.

The good news is I am now within 3000 words, TOTAL, of finishing myDec.

The, er, bad news is that it was written at whitehot speed and I caught like three ghastly errors in the half of 08 that I wrote there, so I expect the editing is going to kill me dead. Also I have to decide if I want two more chapters or three; it was going to be two chapters but there's a evil cliffhanger natural division in the middle of ten, so I may just go with it.

The chart that Kosuke uses is here -- although that's not a very good version because I keep forgetting to set the square to a multiple of 3. >___> But it gives the basic idea. I'll upload a better one when I stop hating the very sight of the damn thing.

Teaser for myDec08. I stupidly agreed to go on vacation with my parents AND my crazy aunt AND my grandmother AND (fortunately) my dog, so am planning to get a memory card for my mp3 player and make a push to get myDec completed by the end of the week of the 19th. After that ... well, I've got TRC fic to write.

DID you think it was about Dark? Because I just got a review from someone who thought it was and I thought I made it clear it was Krad, and if it didn't, I should maybe make it clear?

-- although it suddenly occurs to me that she might be talking about chapter six. I HOPE she's talking about chapter six, because it throws me off when people tell me they like the Dark characterization in a chapter about KRAD.

Sorry, I have this thing about crushing the hopes of baby fangirls who want to believe that Krad is secretly a nice person and loves Satoshi-sama. I'm not arguing about the 'loves Satoshi-sama' part, I'm just saying that it's the sort of love that makes all observers want to take the beloved object to the nearest domestic violence shelter and a good pyschologist.
