to My Chemical Test, a My Chemical Romance fanfiction challenge community.
This is the place where you can participate in challenges every two weeks or so set by the winners of challenges.
We'll challenge your writing skills on anything from waycest to genfic to fairy tales.
Think you're up to the challenge? Think your writing could easily win?
Then we'd love you to join in, please just take a moment to read over the rules;
As the title suggests, this is a My Chemical Romance WRITING community.
If you don't like fan fiction or slash, go some place else (like Neopets)
Some stories in the community will contain slash.
No flaming, but constructive criticism is always welcomed.
This is a fastfic challenge community, so please try to stick with the rules and keep stories short.
Please do not crosspost your stories to any other community or to your own personal journal until after the challenge has closed AND the winners have been announced.
What you do with them after the challenge closes is entirely up to you, just... do it in your own journal.
At the end of each challenge, each participant MUST vote for the THREE stories they liked best.
You may not vote for yourself.
You must have a Livejournal account and you must be part of the community.
Voting is screened, anonymous votes will not be counted.
Bad!fic will be shot on sight.
Please use a beta or at least spellcheck and be proficient in grammar.
Posting Method
· Please email all submissions to: mychemicaltest [at] gmail [dot] com ·
· Please attach them to an email in .txt or .doc form so that it can be quickly opened and then copy and pasted to the entries ·
· Please make the name of the story the name of the document and also the subject of the email ·
· Please make sure that all HTML is accurate and that the story is in posting form.
Make sure the code includes a:
Title.
Rating.
Pairing (if any).
Prompt.
Summary (optional).
Warning (if any).
Author's Notes.
Wordcount.
Lj Cut (<lj-cut> story </lj-cut>).
If you see something that seems off, email us or message us and we will try to fix it, but for obvious reasons we won't be able to be spellchecker/html checkers ·

· Please understand that when the voting has closed, we will go back in and add an AUTHOR AND BETA line to every story posted, so people know who wrote what ·

We do work, so if it seems like your story's taking a really long time to get up (18 hours or so?), please email us again.
