All fics must be put behind an LJ cut. Any fic not under an LJ cut will be rejected.
This cannot be stressed enough. When writing your pairing in your setup you have got to be clear on who the pairing is. None of this “You’ll see” crap. This will save so much trouble. A lot of people do not like certain pairings (Ex: Waycest, Gerard/Bert) and they shouldn’t have to read something only to get to the end and find out it was something they wouldn’t normally choose to read, and then feel cheated out of time. Sorry if this will ruin your “surprise” but please be kind and make your pairings clear.
All chaptered fics must have a link back to previous chapters. Be it fancy and a link for each chapter or just one for your writing journal where they are archived, there must be a link. This is to make it easier on people who maybe aren’t following the story each time you post or for new readers. Please, please do not forget this. It’s important.
Lets not start drama. What’s the point? We’re all fans of the band and we’re all fans of the fic. Doesn’t mean we have to flame someone when we don’t like how they write or portray the band members. So please no flaming. Leave positive, and dare we even say intelligent feedback. Constructive criticism is a big plus! But again lets not flame or be rude about it. Lets do it in a nice manner. You can get your point across without being a huge jerk.
Please look over your fics. Spell check is your best friend. And please have it formatted. No one wants to read anything that’s one big lump or has no spaces at all. If you feel you need more help than just yourself looking over your fics then please get a Beta.
RPGs and MCR related communities can be advertised. If the advertisement includes a picture then it must be behind an LJ cut.
