 | 08:26 pm - Not All Treasure is Silver and Gold Title: Not All Treasure is Silver and Gold Musical: Hello, Dolly Rating: G Words: 100 Challenge: #46-Hidden Treasure Author's Note: Hey, I'm brand-new, to LiveJournal and the community, so I have no clue what the 'nomination' thing is and how to do the little hyperlink thingy. As soon as it's explained I'll do it, but anyway...
Horace sat in the swaying train seat, enjoying the quiet after the insanity of his experience in New York City. He let out a sigh, feeling relaxed for the first time in days. He glanced to the woman sitting beside him, quietly working on a ghastly cross-stitch. Half the cloth was covered and he still had no idea what it was. He’d spent so long obsessed with money. The whole Ernestina fiasco, for a start. He had been more concerned with a woman’s wealth than who she was. Horace smiled to himself. Dolly was nothing if not a hidden treasure. Current Music: Jekyll & Hyde
