| About: | A UK-based community for keeping an eye on what Rupert Murdoch, and by extension his vast media empire, is up to.
Murdoch owns hundreds of newspapers, magazines, TV stations, and other media outlets, using them to cross-promote his business agenda. In the UK, for example, just through owning The Sun alone, he has an effective veto over all Government policy and usually manages to set the political agenda.
As a result, he has a disturbing amount of political influence - what he says usually goes. Murdoch media largely controls what the voting public get to see, hear, and think about.
Any Murdoch-related content is welcomed - front pagers, news reports, analysis, and old-fashioned ridicule.
