Another country falls under the sway of Munchkin.
This time it's Poland.

Published by Q-Workshop the release date is 22 August 2008 and the price will be 79.90 Zloty (About € 24 or $ 37).

The game will include 165 card, of which 4 will be new cards containing artwork by John Kovalic.
It will also include a Wicked Munchkin Die and 2 random Elvish Dice.

Hi everyone,

I play board games (and some card games) with friends every Thursday here in Brisbane and Munchkin is a strong favourite. Tonight we were playing Super Ultra Munchkin of Doom (essentially a bunch of standalones plus Blender), and two of us were talking about making an Internet meme version of Munchkin.

Some cards we were thinking of include:

Race/Class - LOLCAT, O'RLY Owls, Dramatic Chipmunk
Ceiling Cat (sees all cards)
FAIL (Curses)
How Can I Shot Web

there's possibly a LOT that could go into this.

Has anyone attempted to make their own Munchkin variant? What would the structure be? I don't think it'd be too hard if you had the underlying structure (# of cards for each type, how many can affect another, etc).

I started buying the original Munchkin and its expansions before SJG started making the door and treasure decks different colors and started adding symbols of the different expansions to the bottoms of expansion cards. I was thinking about separating out my original Munchkin decks, but there isn't an easy way to separate Unnatural Axe and Clerical Errors because I have the old cards. Can anyone point me to the symbol designs for those two expansions? (I'm not worried about wrecking the cards because an indicent with a ADD friend and soda already fixed that problem.)

Unwelcome Enlightenment

Can somebody help explain to me what the Unwelcome Enlightenment card (from Munchkin Cthulhu) is good for?

To those who don't have it, the text is:
"Play this card on another player on their turn, before they kick down a door. They miss their entire turn, but they go up a level. This cannot be played on someone who is at such a high level that they have to kill a monster to go up."

Obviously I understand what it does - skip a player, but give them a level - but why would you want to do that? (The give them a level part - making them skip their turn is always fun! :) ) I can understand it if you've looked at the next cards and know that you really want to kick down that door (or another player really doesn't, or whatever), but that's about it. Am I missing some obvious benefits of it?

I couldn't resist the temptation recently and decided to buy the exclusive Barnes & Noble edition of Munchkin: the Bobblehead edition to complement the Bobblehead I already got (being a member of the Munchkin Braintrust and being a Regional Director does have its benefits.)

I will be in LA next week for a day or two and I'd like to get some Munchkin expansions (Greek/Cthulhu, etc.). Would you please recommend some good store, preferably one that carries Munchkin as well as Arkham Horror type of b-g's.

Pegasus Spiele creates very cool stuff for each Munchkin release.
For Munchkin Impossible they made these sunglasses.

I look extremely cool wearing them, but I'll be effectively blind.
So I'll be wearing them in the car from now on, of course:
What's a few cats and dogs to a Munchkin in a car.
And the occasional penguin. I'm sure it was a penguin.

The latest Munchkin standalone will be called Munchkin Booty and features.. pirates. No, really.

I just checked, and it turns out that SJ has already made a page for it - it doesn't hold any specific information yet, though.

I wonder how many PotC references this game will hold.. ;)

The Good, the Bad, and the Munchkin has ridden off into the sunset... er, the printer. We spotted the proofs back late last week, and everything looks good.

This set is scheduled for release in late October or early November. In either case, it'll be on store shelves in time for a very Munchkin holiday season.

I'm a longtime player, recent buyer and first time poster munchkin fan.

I've got a question about Munchkin Cthulhu though:
Is the Song of Madness song a parody of a real song? If someone could find me a sample or youtube link or something that would help me with the tune, that'd be great, because I'd finally feel as though I'd finally be able to do the card justice.

Dear Dairy,

This morning the telegraph came to life at 7am waking me from an exhausted sleep.
It was a message from Professor Jackson requesting my, and my team's assistance in the fight against the dreaded Cowthulhu and the Arkhamster.
