Представляем Вашему вниманию запись концерта исландской группы múm, состоявшегося в Москве 28 июля 2007 года. Последний раз группа посещала с визитом Россию пять лет назад, будучи еще совсем неизвестным коллективом. Нового пришествия российские поклонники ждали с нетерпением многие годы. За это время группа не раз изменялась, и, наконец, нам удалось лицезреть их новое воплощение. Выступление состоялось в рамках фестиваля Пикник, организуемого журналом Афиша. múm отыграли полноценную программу с нового альбома Go Go Smear The Poison Ivy и несколько старых композиций.

Эта запись представляет собой живой бутлег, снятый с двух видеокамер, находящихся в разных точках концертного пространства. Обилие близких и дальних планов делает видео динамичным и интересным. К сожалению, фестивальный звук оставляет желать лучшего, и во многих треках случаются перебасовки и прочие звуковые дефекты. Но это огрехи совсем не музыкантов, в целом, запись неплохого качества.

We would like to present you a recording of the Icelandic band múm concert that took place in Moscow on the 28th of July 2008. The last time the band visited Russia was 5 years ago, at that time being a completely unknown collective. Their new coming had been awaited impatiently by their fans for several years. The band has changed a lot in these years and finally we could see their new appearance. The performance took place as part of Picnic Afisha Festival organized by Afisha Magazine. múm played full set of songs from their new album Go Go Smear The Poison Ivy and some old songs also.

The recording is a live-bootleg shot by two video cameras from different viewpoints of the concert space. Plenty of close-ups and distance shots make the video dynamic and interesting. Unfortunately, the festival sound leaves much to be desired and in a lot of tracks overbasses and some other sound imperfections appear. But these balks are not the musicians' ones and overall the quality of the recording is quite good.

Music: múm - Mother's Last Word to Her Son



	2007.08.24 00.46 Is there any way at all; legal, not so legal, etc. to get Loksins erum við engin. I want it terribly bad. Every store I check, every torrent, every soulseek search I make (especially since it likes to disconnect constantly), is fruitless. I'd be forever greatful if somebody was willing to share this album. I bought all the other albums too, Múm is too amazing to not buy. I would like to buy this one too, but because it's limited it seems impossible to aquire and I'm ready to get it through any means available. Thanks.

	2007.04.13 15.22 Mum Goldfrapp remixes I got two: Number 1, and You Never Know. Has anyone listened to these? I think they are awesome. But I was told by my computer that I am not allowed to play them any longer or do anything else with them. (DRM I believe?) I only listened to them a few times! I heard it at the store yesterday and it was absolutely teriffic. I love it and I need it. Apparently, Kristin has given herself the freedom to have her own music career. As for Mum, the next project will be without any creative effort from her, and is made up of a bunch of "talented people" currently keeping the spirit of Mum alive. I saw the video on YouTube and fell in love with the song, but Aco's music is only released in Japan and the import copies are upwards of $50. I would honestly buy one, but I can't afford it right now (poor college student, haha). Thanks in advance. :-)

	2006.07.24 18.15 Hey all! Hello all! :) I'm new to this community, only recently having started looking them up on LJ. I've been a múm fan for a while now, ever since randomly stumbling upon The Land Between the Solar Systems and, shortly afterwards, buying yesterday was dramatic, today is ok. Got finally we are no one a few days ago, and I must say, it's probably the best album I've ever owned. Looking forward to finding all the others now, heh. Múm is probably one of the only instrumental bands I know who keep the mood through-out the song. If any of you know Mogwai or Sigur Ros, for example, you'll probably know they often add a very heavy part to the end of a lovely, peaceful song and ruin it. But I think I've yet to find a Múm song I don't like ;) Anyway, enough of the failed introduction! I thought I'd share some icons I made. They're all based on the song names, and the images relate to what I think of (or as close to that as possible) when I hear them. Hope you like! Feel free to use any, just please give credit.
