| About: | Welcome! This is a community for fannish music videos (vids, fanvids, songvids, etc.) that use multiple sources. "Multi-Source" is being used here as a general term that would include: Multi-Fandom vids, Crossovers, and AU's/Constructed Realities. Recs and discussion posts are welcome, as long as they relate to multi-source/multi-fandom vidding. Videos must contain footage from at least two different television series or movies/movie series. Note: For the purpose of this community, a movie and its sequels will be considered one fandom/source. Please regard movies within a movie series the same way as episodes within a television series. For example, a video consisting solely of footage from The Matrix Trilogy is not appropriate here, even though they are 3 movies. Any fandom is welcome. Any genre is welcome (gen, slash, het, action, comedy, experimental, etc.). Although I expect the majority of vids posted here will be from live-action fandoms, anime & animated sources are welcome as well. Each video will have fandom tags. For consistency's sake, only moderators can create & add tags. Tags are also useful for searching. Looking for all the videos that have used show X? The full list of current tags is HERE. New fandom tags will be added as videos are posted. Graphics accompanying posts are allowed, within reason. If the graphic is overly large, please place it behind a cut tag (tag example here). This is done out of courtesy for those with a dial-up or slow connection. If your graphic is excessively large and you do not place it behind a cut, you may be asked to do so by a mod. Do not use parts of someone else's video without permission to make your own. That is called clip theft, and it will not be tolerated here. Vid Posting Format: There is no strict template, but please include the following information when posting a video: --Vidder (optional for if you go by another name) --Music --Fandoms (Note: What you list here will be used for tagging purposes.) --File Size(s) & Format(s) --Where to download/View the vid --Mark if it's for one of the challenges Other info which you might want to include: Summary or Description, Length, Warnings, Spoilers, Notes/Comments The general community rules are located HERE. Challenges: This community hosts Challenges! Due to the often complicated nature of multi-source vidding, each challenge will run for two months.
