Strengths: I suppose we probably have a few but all I'm coming up with now is good hand/eye coordination. Weaknesses: In the event of an earthquake, or other significant natural disaster, we will likely be crushed or maimed or killed rather than give up on whatever it is we were watching at the time. We have no lives, no real reason to exist other than to consume the creative efforts of others, and are largely biological waste with a tedium of will power. Special Skills: Well, as a rule we tend to be quite equipped with a nearly endless supply of information that will do neither us nor anyone else any good whatsoever. Also can stare for hours at a screen without even really blinking or breathing. Weapons: A seemingly endless amount of videos and DVD's that can be produced at the drop of a hat to keep us going. Some of us have props from shows and various reconstructed armaments to look impressive when we strut around conventions. A few of us, not me, dress in big animal suits which have claws and fangs. Blah: Anyone have a suggestion for an extra category to be placed here?

If you enjoy fanfics filled with very unlikely sexual scenarios, you're a geek.
If you think Miss Piggy could beat up Buffy the Vampire Slayer...I'm not sure what you are but feel free to join.
If you play in any form of roleplaying game, you're a geek.
If you play any kind of arcade or video or computer game for hours on end, you're a geek.
If you want to throw Legolas down and make him your love monkey, you're a geek.
If you have a tendency to wear Renaissance Faire garb away from the fair grounds, you're a geek.
If since seeing Pirates of the Carribean you've been in a piratey mindframe you're trendy...but still a geek.
If you were already in a piratey mindframe before seeing that movie, you're a geek.
If you play EverQuest, Halo 2, Gemstone, or Enter the Matrix for more time than you actually sleep, you're a geek.
If you play all 4 of them...seek professional help.

If you think you might be a mutant, you're actually a geek.
