Well, even though Muhyo and Roji's serialization is finished, it looks like we won't be seeing the last of Nishi Yoshiyuki. The most recent Akamaru Jump has a one-shot by him, raws courtesy of Ritual:

Himitsu no Yamii (SS, .zip)

It's definitely not the same as Muhyo and Roji, but it's still the same bizarrely cute art-style from before.

Are there any Muhyo fans going to the Sakura Con in Seattle next weekend? I've got a group of Muhyo ( vavarazzi ), Enchuu ( ebolashock ) and Roojii ( medaveon ). Once the convention is over, we'll definitely be posting pictures. :O

12:47 am - Vol. 16 cover

Well, the penultimate volume (presumably? comments in the previous post said vol. 17 would be the last) of Muhyo came out earlier this month (on the 4th, I think). Here's the - as always - good-looking cover:

Too bad this series is ending. At least I hear there's a real ending and not just some thrown-together slapshod finish. Not that I would know, though; I'm only reporting on the talk around town.

That is so sad, never thought that it would just suddenly end like that. Even though I can actually imagine that it didn't actually have this grand destination to go to. Like Naruto (Hokage)

Well anyway, not sure how long till it's end, but I heard around..... the 12'th issue this year, so there's still about 4 more chapters. *sigh* So sad.

Haven't seen much activity here in awhile, eh..XD;  Well, I'm a new kiddo here. The name's Val. :x  I went to Japan for six weeks and came back a Muhyo fan.  PRETEND I'M COOL OR SOMETHING. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu~.

We're all just crossing our fingers (or dreading, depends on your ideals) for Muhyo to get animated...and so, I was thinking to myself, if it did get animated, who do you think would make good voice actors for the characters?  There are a lot of seiyuu I could imagine for each role, but I wanted to hear all your opinions.  (All like, what, two of you?  XD; Lonesome community is lonesome~.)

My personal thoughts on possible seiyuu?:
-Saitou Chiwa as Nana.  I could totally see her fitting this role perfectly.
-Junko Minagawa is usually the approximate voice I imagine for Roojii.  I'm really fond of that seiyuu. :x
-For whatever reason, I feel like Kaori Mizuhashi could pull off Kenji well.
-Also, why I see Mika Kanai being able to do Biko well I don't really understand either.  But I can just sense it.
-Rie Tanaka is AMAZINGGG.  I definitely would vote her for Enchuu.  There is no one better. D:  Just, err, stop thinking of the girliness that is Chii.  Tanaka can do boys real good too. XD
-And I feel kinda lame for all this mainstreamness, but Souichiro Hoshi is actually kinda what I picture for Yoichi.
-No idea for Muhyo yet.  The voice in my head for him changes really rapidly. D: What are your ideas, really? I have like, no idea with him.

....WOW WHAT A MANLY CAST I'VE PICKED OUT.  POOR HOSHI-SAN. D: I'm sure he's used to it.

So yeah, who would you pick? :D Pleased to meet y'all, by the way.

dunno if anyone knows or cares, but since jump scans dissolved, it seems a new group, Shiraku, has picked up Muhyo, and is releasing chapters at a pretty rapid pace. they don't have a website, they tend to float around the mangahelpers board (http://mangahelpers.com/forum/index.php). try looking under the general manga section.

hope this helps anyone still interested in the series :D

I didn't know until I started looking up Zan scanlations * Shouldn't take too long since it's met it's ultimate demise * :P

Hello! New member here! I found out about this series when I saw it's going to be in the DS game Jump Ultimate Stars. I've recently began reading and I really like it. ^^

But...I'm asking, is there anywhere to get RAWs for this series besides the most recent chapter? I've no way of buying the tankobon and I really want to read ahead of the scanslations =(

So at long last, I'm more-or-less back in the fold of things. I've been back for two weeks now but the Internet has only worked for one of them. I see that ayyu's been working a little on translations, so it's high time for me to get to editing! I was wondering, though, whether's anyone checked out the scanlations done by Jump-scans. Judging by the news posts on their main page, however, I wouldn't expect much.

And is anyone else excited by the fact that Muhyo will, come October, be the longest/oldest un-animated Shounen Jump series? And Neuro after it? That'll be exciting... but of course first I have to enjoy the hell out of DGM, DN, BR, and KHR!! Not to mention Ayakashi Ayashi, Code Geass, and Kanon 2006... what an anime season this will be...

Oh, and finally - can anyone recommend a good image-editing program? The only one I'm at all familiar with is Photoshop, but I don't have one on this computer.
