Favourite Moment?

I was wondering what everyone's favourite Mugen/Fuu moment is, or what solidified their relationship in your mind.

For me it was definitely the last 2 episodes. Also I wanted to clear something up about the talk between Jin and Fuu at the campfire for those who don't know any Japanese. Despite what some people say (somehow thinking that Mugen's name just randomly was thrown in there) it is DEFINITELY significant.

When Mugen heard they had Fuu, and Jin told him to go. He asked Jin why didn't he go, and Jin flashes back to his conversation with Fuu about what she intends to do after their journey and she says "I just...don't want to think about that...because..."

OK, I speak Japanese and I wanted to say, I think Fuu was definitely about to say she was in love with Mugen just then. 「だって、ムゲンのやつが...」"Datte, Mugen no yatsu ga..." and trailed off. I think the word she omitted was "suki", because she seemed to get emotional. That would make her full quote "I don't want to think about that, because.. Mugen, I love him..." and explains why she would stop and say "I'm sorry" to Jin, rejecting his offer to travel with her after their journey is over.

So he tells him to take care of Fuu. Mugen is taken aback, but knows what he means and leaves.

And Fuu obviously doesn't think Mugen cares about her. "Even if you guys do this it's useless. Mugen doesn't care about any hostage, he'll just start killing everyone." So, she's obviously shocked when he shows up, saying that he's taking her back. And then not only that, but he gives up his sword in return for her safety. (If this doesn't show love on Mugen's part, I don't know what does.)

Fuu is stunned, understandably. I think this is the moment she realizes that she misjudged him.Hell, I can't imagine how she COULDN'T fall for him after that to be honest. "I can't go. Mugen will..." "I won't die. Trust me." She heitates, and cries as she runs off, fearing the worst.

"You make me cry, throwing away your life for that girl."

And at the end when he is about to be taken away by death, and he seems to accept it. "I guess this is really the end." But it's Fuu's cries for him that make him fight and come back. It was HER that made him want to live. It's completely obvious to me that they love each other.

I almost wish that Fuu would have said so before she left, but I guess actions speak louder than words in some cases. He was willing to throw away his life, his sword, for her, even though he's the kind of person to "not care about any hostage" like she said.

Short drabble.

She smiled as she walked away from them. Away from her saviors, her best friends, her comrades. Away from the person she realized she loved. She didn't say goodbye. It was too final. The thought of never seeing them again hurt too much. So she walked away. Choking back tears and keeping the smile on her face. She was going to see them again. She had to believe that. Fate brought them together the first time. It was going to bring them together again.

Hello, I've just been recently introduced into the samurai champloo fandom. And while I was confused first as to whether I liked Mugen/Fuu or Jin/Fuu more, I found myself gravitating towards Mugen/Fuu the moment I saw episode 25. *sigh* Now I'm addicted to this pairing and I can't stop thinking about it. I'm a solid Mugen/Fuu shipper now and I'm hoping that it's okay if I join you guys.

I claimed Mugen/Fuu as my pairing for the 7_deadly_sins_, I've only just started... and... well, I hope you guys will like it... and I hope I did Mugen/Fuu justice... this is my first time to write a fic revolving around them so I'm sorry if I didn't get it right. Ehehehe... and I'm sorry if I'm going to suffocate this couple with angst, angst and more angst when they should be a happy/fluffy couple. It's just the way I am.. heheh.. XD I'm planning to write fluff too... maybe for the 'gluttony' prompt.

I may just be going slightly insane, but anyway, is there per chance a Mugen/Fuu fic set during the episode where Mugen tells her point blank that she's flat as a board? I think it's episode eleven, but I'm not too sure. Anyway, yeah, then she thinks he's sleeping when he's not and there's a mirror and shed clothing and some snarky comment about a peep show when it turns out, hell, he's not sleeping after all. . . it's not smutty, though. Gah. Then it all goes fuzzy and I'm left slightly boggled as to how I remember a fic that I can't find.

Any help?
