Sechuna Group Order #2 [30 Apr 2008|02:39pm]

minarin
Although not Japanese (so doesn't really fit this community), I figure some people here may be interested.

I am hosting another Sechuna Group Order for people in and outside of Montreal. If you're interested, check this post for information and check back to my journal regularly!

SECHUNA GROUP ORDER [16 Feb 2008|07:30pm]

Hello everyone!

NOTE: This post is pretty much for Montreal people only. BUT, if there's someone who wants something, I could order it for you and ship it out to you ^_^

I'd like to order from Sechuna, a Korean brand for clothes. I just recently found out that although everyone thinks they don't ship internationally, they do!!! HOWEVER, you need a Korean VISA which only Koreans have, haha. So, I'll be adding a Sechuna shopping service to the general one I already have since I have access to a Korean VISA.

( FAKE CUT to all the information you'd ever need! )

P.S: I know it's not Japanese, but still, haha.

Hey, I'm really interested in Asian ball-jointed dolls. I know there's a club in Montreal that meets with their dolls, but I don't know where or when they meet, or even if you can get in if you're not a doll owner (wayyy out of my price range).

Could anyone tell me? I'd love to visit a meeting and learn more.

Japanese Karaoke Updates Journal [21 Jan 2008|11:45pm]

karaoke_oui
Hello everyone, this is [info]zarya.

I just wanted to let you know that, if you're into Japanese karaoke and you go (more or less) regularly to PangPang to get your fix, I created a new journal dedicated to posting the future updates of their Japanese catalog.

I'll also update with general news about Japanese karaoke in Montreal, so feel free to friend [info]karaoke_oui! Also if you have any question regarding the karaoke joints that have Japanese songs in town, the machine/system they use at PangPang, or anything else that might be related, just leave a comment and I'll get back at you.

Vous aimez le j-rock/visual kei? Vite lisez! [28 Oct 2007|02:21pm]

getoutofmyband
[ music | Hagakure - Fall Breeze ]

Salut à tous membres de mtl_japan_alt!

C'est Maki 真輝!

http://www.studiobatsu.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=44#44

Make our j-rock dreams come true!
http://studiobatsu.com/forum

Message from Otakuthon. [27 Jul 2007|11:19pm]

le_livre_noir
[ music | Planet - Metronome ]

Hello everyone!

Most of you know of the Otakuthon event next week and as I've been informed by a staff from Otakuthon, there will be a meeting/photoshoot that concerns us during the event. Here is a forward of the message they sent to the community.

*****

There's a Jrock cosplays and japanese fashion photoshoot

Occasion: Otakuthon
When: Saturday 4th
Time: 16H00 PM
Where: Second floor at Reggie's bar
Why: Because we need to show people in an anime convention, there's not only
anime and games.
What to wear: Do I have to say something about this?XD Anything that is
relative about fashion(gothic lolitas, ganguras, kimonos etc.) or jrock
cosplays.

Come as much as you can guys, it would be nice to show how beautiful and
unique japanese fashion is.
Thanks and see you there, Gangenoir.

*****

Right now, -I- for one cannot attend Otakuthon but will do my best for my friends whom are doing a Concert at the event.. so if you may, please participate to this event or give the message to your friends about it! I am well aware that there people whom would be interested in this event that do not have the internet as we speak, so it would be nice of you all to spread the information around.

Have fun, all of you!

NANA day? [18 Jun 2007|06:49pm]

minarin
I saw this on the [info]montreal forum and thought, "This may call for a lolita meet-up?!" I'm not sure if it's strictly NANA cosplay, but I commented asking. I'd like to try to attend this, lolita meeting or not, but it's on a Saturday so I'll have to see if I can take time off work.

Anyone interested? More information here.
