This is the group blog for the Animorphs. Here we'll post our chatlogs of meetings and phone calls, etc., as well as OOC posts to coordinate plots.

This takes place after the end of the series, so beware of spoilers if you have yet to finish it.

This blog takes place after the war while the Animorphs are college-age. In our happy-land, all the characters survived. The Morphs are now keeping blogs to keep track of each other.

While we're encouraging the six main characters to be the major players, minor characters such as Melissa may also join in the fun.

Currently our regular cast is full. However, we still have plenty of room for minor characters; also check back here occassionally to see if someone opens up. RPs often lose people. Characters may open up.

Rules

0. The golden rule - do unto others. Be nice.

1. Some of us who play here like odd pairings, including slash. Don't like it, don't join.
2. There's no rating limit, but if you're going to post something R or NC-17, please put it under a cut for those who are underage or who might be reading at work or school. If any major plot points happened under the cut that our underage players might need to know about, just let the community know.
3. If you're MIA for over a month with no explanation we have the right to repossess your character if we need him or her. Likewise, if you do have to be away for an extended period of time, let the comm know if at all possible so we can plan around you.

Backstory and significant plot thus far:

-Rachel is missing and presumed dead until she reappears. It will be up to Rachel's player how long she was missing. We also thought that perhaps she'll be missing some of her memories when she gets back. Bear in mind that if she was missing for very long, she may be behind the other Animorphs in school and thus will probably have a year or two left of high school at the beginning of this RP.
-Marco has, as in the books, become the official spokesperson; he spends his weekends out of town interviewing, etc. He informs me the best part was hosting SNL. Because his weekends are spent away, he doesn't have a whole lot of time to spend with the other Animorphs.
-Cassie's become more withdrawn with no Rachel or Jake to keep her social with the other Animorphs
-There are still pockets of yeerk resistance on earth. Ax and Jake are working with the CIA, FBI, NSA, etc. etc. to find and eliminate the remaining yeerks on the planet. Thus they are spending a lot of time with each other but are falling out of contact with most of the other Animorphs.
-Tobias is still living in the woods; his contact is primarily with Ax.
-The journals were Marco's idea; he has increasingly little contact with the others given his busy schedule and laments that fact. Talk show hosts keep asking how his friends are doing and he feels bad because he doesn't know. He harassed the unwilling members of the team into getting journals.
-Cassie, Jake, and Marco continued to go to school, in case that wasn't clear. If Tobias and Ax's player want them to attend school, it would probably now be possible since their identities and situations have been revealed. (However, it's unlikely that Ax has anything to learn from human school other than possibly culture.)
