Toronto Independent Music Awards & New Cellist [Tuesday September 11, 2007] poison_screams [ mood | mellow ] For anyone who is missing out on new Romanov news: The Romanovs have been nominated in the “Best USA Band” category at the third Annual Toronto Independent Music Awards. The award ceremony will be held on Thursday, 4th October at The Phoenix Concert Theatre. They have acquired a beautiful new Cellist - the lovely and talented Ms. Ana Lenchantin has joined our humble but lusty project! We had the pleasure of playing with her at our last show at Bordello and after the sparks flew and the bombs fell and the dust settled, it was clear we could play with no other! They have also made a LastFM.com account that they would love everyone to visit! Check it out here. Last of all I have made a new layout for this community so take a quick look. Morgan is a guest vocalist on the new Clay Aiken album "A Thousand Different Ways." She's featured on his cover of "Broken Wings." Paul worked with Veruca Salt on their new album "IV." He wrote and recorded the cello parts for "Wake up Dead," "the Sun," and "Salt Flat Epic." Check them out and let us all know you think!
