so it *has* been a while again... but hi [28 Aug 2008|07:49pm] cnsmith [ mood | lonely ] Well.  Since my last post (and I really had the best of intentions to post again, but I didn't... and soon you might see why) From when I made my last posting, my back got much worse. At the end of March I ended up getting admitted to Riverside Hospital for emergency surgery to repair the disc in my back.  I ended up having the surgery later that week at the beginning of April.  I spent 2 weeks at my parent's house recouperating and then finally moved back home towards the end of April. I was on track to have bariatric surgery, and losing weight nicely, however, in June I re herniated the disc in my back.  :( I got depressed... quit eating like I was supposed to, etc.  but in July I decided go back to my surgeon and see what we could do about my back. He prescribed me some new pain medicine, got another MRI, and put me on a nerve medicine.  Then, I went to back to the bariatric program and got on board. Since then -> I've lost 11 pounds, and only need to lose 20 more pounds and I can have surgery.  I go to physical therapy 2 times a week and can use my eliptical machine 15 minutes at a time with no problems.  The pain is basically gone.  It's great! I've been really bored lately thought.  Clint works from 3:30 pm until 1 or 2 am, so I have a lot of time where I'm spending it by myself.  My parents even are in Alaska so I can't hang out with them even.  Yes!  I really just said hang out with my parents.  They get back on Saturday though... so hopefully that will change.  :) I'm hoping to reconnect with some of my friends.  I don't really have a lot to write considering well... I don't really do anything.  I do hope to change that soon lol post comment
