| Larger Version HereOften I'll take a picture and something will have messed it up. In this picture Lil D had his head resting on Peaches and it looked adorable. So I grabbed the camera and snapped it. When I loaded it on the computer I saw this. I laughed for so long I probably peed. | |

| The baking bug has attacked our house. I just made three dozen chocolate cupcakes, from scratch. Incidently they are even vegan cupcakes- well for right now. I have caramel sauce simmering on the stove that I plan to fill the cupcakes with.
Is it possible to nest when you're not expecting a baby? Because I am in serious nesting mode.
Felix got a chance to look at our vaccum cleaner today. It stopped working eons ago. Ok it might have been last week but I honestly can't remember. We turned it upside down and the belt popped off. We were able to find a replacement pretty painlessly. Hopefully now I'll have better luck vaccuming the floors.

| LOL NATHAN FILLION AND THAT ALAN TUDYK FROM FIREFLY ARE SO FUNNY OMFG
And Michael Rosenbaum from Smallville (I don't watch that show and at first I didn't know who he was at first because omfg now he has hair) is hilarious too, he reminds me of Dane Cook.

| I'm doing it again, being political. Sorry.
But I would really like to know what it is about Sarah Palin that has conservatives so supposedly giddy. Why are they excited by her nomination and why do they consider that a good thing? I know the majority of people on my flist are *not* conservatives, so I'm asking in the wrong place, but I don't know where else to go.
I'd seriously like a non tongue-in-cheek answer to this, because I'm baffled. Do the Republicans really think, *really*, that by putting a woman on the ticket, they're going to pick up Hillary's supporters? Do they *really* think that all Hillary's supporters want is another set of ovaries, no matter the fact that Palin and Clinton stand for, you know, different things entirely?
Color me totally confused.

| GRRRRR http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml08/08378.htmlThe bassinet I just bought a couple of weeks ago is part of the recall. DARN IT!! I wish I could return it but I don't think I'll be able to , since I don't have any receipt or box or anything for it. I emailed the girl to see if she could tell me what store she bought it at, to see if I have a chance of getting it returned as part of the recall. I haven't heard back from her yet. ANyone want to put their google-fu to the test and tell me what stores this was available for purchase at? It's the model number 3045DRM. | |

| Woohoo using Nat's internets.
epic panels are epic dkjakghdfkjh
Got stuck in an elevator...
WITH GRANT WILSON MOTHERFUCKERS YES
Then I saw him at the Ghosthunters panel and he totally remembered me. I was in the third row and he saw me (bright pink hair is probably what did it) and he smiled 8DDDDDDD
Battlestar Galactica panel was fucking amazing and hilarious and it was Edward James Olmos's first panel at a convention. Everyone was absolutely hilarious. There was a really good colonel Tigh cosplayer that I saw previously while I was standing in line for the Ghosthunters panel and he was like, perfect, walking around all pissed off. Well, for the BSG panel, they did audience Q&A AND IT WAS THE FUCKING COLONEL TIGH COSPLAYER. Aaron Douglas did the best holy shit face ever. And he was all "You sir, are fucking awesome." and Eddie Olmos was all "You just made the whole panel." and Michael Hogan applauded and they started being all ornery and mean to each other as Tigh. XDDD And the cosplayer was all, "Sir, I ask you to yell at me as Colonel Tigh." so Michael Hogan did and it was amazing. he was all, "GIMMIE SOME OF THAT GODSDAMN DRINK YOU HAVE GODSDAMNIT." I was loling so hard. And the actors gave the cosplayer a standing ovation. It was so awesome.
Now I'm watching the Stargate panel, and the guests are meh, I'm surprised Tori Higginson and Rainbow Sun Francs are there. This panel is boring =/ BUT BEAU BRIDGES OMFG SO AWESOME WANNA HUG HIM.
Nat and I are going to watch the parade from the balcony tomorrow then I'm heading to the Stargate panel and after that the BSG panel EDWARD JAMES OLMOS OH MY FUCKING GOD YES KFJGHAKDJFHDFKJGHKJDFHG AND TAMOH PENIKETT YES JDFKGHDSKJGHDFKJGH AARON DOUGLAS SDKJFHAKDJHGDFKJH EVERYONE SDKJGHSDKJGHDFH - Mood:excited

| A rather late entry by my standards but I am still up and on hold to the bank because my card got chewed up by a machine while out this evening. *eye roll* So far they can't detect a reason for this apart from the machine just decided to keep it. Things from today: * had a run in with a customer that made my blood boil * managed to avoid another children's summer party * spent he evening out with a group of SA guys * tried Halloumi cheese for the first time - yummy! * got given some lovely deep purple flowers * got dragged into a bar I wouldn't normally go near * managed to then drag said group to a bar of my choosing * had a Wounded Springbok shot ( infinitecomplex may recall these well) * spent some time looking over the Thames, Big Ben and The London Eye by night Now I am awfully tired and need to go to bed. Tell me about your day... | |

| Everyone should go check out elegants . They do a lot of contests and games and things. It's been inactive for a while now but the mod is back and has opened membership to get things going again. I have a lot of fun there. Even if I can't enter the contests, I still love voting in them. They aren't always graphics contests either. A while back they were doing cutest pets and most creative costumes, things like that. A bunch of the members used to run the games. They had 1 vs. 100, all kinds of trivia, and my personal favorite, bingo. Anyways, it's worth a look =) - Mood:blah

| So, today I got my wisdom teeth pulled. I was really nervous last night and this morning. (I, erm, cleared out all my drawers at like ten o'clock last night--I clean when I get nervous.) But it really wasn't as bad as soon as I got in there. I don't remember falling asleep, though I do remember getting the IV in (it hurt). Right now I'm chilling and watching a lot of brainless girl movies.
When we got home, there were flowers on the doorstep from Nicole P.. It delighted me! She sent me a really cute note too. And when I came in, Philip came running up and gave me a card Laura and him had made me. It was reallyreally cute. Philip and Laura have been very helpful with being quiet/walking me around when I feel dizzy/stuff.
Btw, there's hurricane coming like right at us. So I might loose internet for a few days. We'll see.

| Go to urbandictionary. com and type in your answer to each question in the search box, then write the FIRST definition it gives you...
1) Your name? Tracey
A beautiful and sophisticated woman that will probably never give you the time of day. Generally Traceys have advanced degrees, wear very high heels and know that you are not worthy. -I tried to buy that Tracey over there a drink, but she was having none of it!
2) Your age? 29
29 is akin to, in the words of most, "Humping a Humpback whale"
The 2 from sideways looks like a whale's hump and tail, hence the whale part, and the 9 is you. 29 resembles you humping a whale. It is a strange new thing that is catching on rapidly. "I got number 29." Grant said.
"Oh silly," I said, "Don't you know that means? It means you humped a humpback whale."
3) One of your friends? Stephanie
The sexiest girl in the world Pamela Anderson is a stephanie
4) Favorite band or singer? Prozzak (I had to pick something i knew no one else would.)
The most neat-o kazeet-o band ever! I luv u milo & simon! xoxo "I camped out at the box office so that I could get front-rwo, center tix 4 Prozzak." (please note - they are no longer touring.)
5) Favorite color? Purple
Extremely potent marijuana, specifically marijuana buds that have a purple hue to them. Also accompanied by a fragant, usually fruity smell and mad perma-grin. Yo, you gotta come over and smoke, boy! I got the purple!
6) Hometown? Mt. Carmel
Not defined yet.
7) Month of your birthday? October
10th month of the year i was born in october
Wahoo so informative.
8) Last person you talked to on the phone? Mother-In-Law
A woman who bears children who one day wed, will find herself at the wedding day changed into a mother-in-law. This demotion of status as the previous Number One female in her children's world can create horrible changes in what was once a lovely woman. Most of the bad scenarios arise from a jealousy between wives and mother-in-laws, although there have been some husbands who have faced the wrath of a mother-in-law. A mother-in-law is generally seen as a mythically bad person. As a parallel, father-in-laws don't get the same bad rap. New wife says, "I thought I married just my husband, but his mother is a huge part of our life!"
Therapist says, "Yes, she is your mother-in-law, and if you let her, she can destroy your marriage. Think - two women love the same man."
9) Your last name? Cheesman
Not defined yet.
10) What is on your tv? Star Trek Enterprise
Not defined yet
11)Significant Others name? Jeremy
A named based on the biblical name Jeremiah. Used as a name for children who are blessed with a large brain and/or penis. Also used as a replacement for "perfect". We had a child and it had a very large penis so we named it Jeremy.

| Good morning everyone. And a lovely morning it is. Here, at least. I hope it is where all of you are as well.
It's so odd in the morning now. I got used to having the children around all day during the summer, and now they're in school. I miss them. But I know that I'm just not the type who'd be very good at home schooling, and I'm quite sure that it's a good thing for them to be around more kids their own age. I just have to adjust to a quieter house. Well, quieter when Nunchaku and Staff aren't here together. When they are, it's just like having the children here. They're so adorable.
I've been busying myself with doing some cleaning and straightening up, and I think I'm going to go pay a few visits when I'm done here. I'm going to try and visit Puppet and see if he'll talk to me. I have my doubts, but it's possible. I think we all need to try and see who he seems to connect with more, and go with that. We do have some excellent motherly types, after all, and maybe that's what he needs. It remains to be seen.
Like everyone else around here, we'll be going to the park festivities at least some of the weekend. It's always amusing to watch the Dennys compete for who can eat the most. Mikel has always won, but others have come close. We'll see if anyone takes the crown from him at any point.
Well, someone's knocking at my door. I suppose I should see who it is. Leigh is out running and Lucky is always so reluctant to answer the door. Such a silly man, and so adorably stoic.
Ta, everyone! - Mood:pensive

| Weii. Besos!! | |

| Okay, so my Dad is in need of some help... over a week ago he said something to a client that maybe shouldn't have been said... something like "You are a pain in the ass". He works in sercuirty at Elywn Inc. The reason why he said that was because this guy asked for my Dad to give him a ride to the other end of the campus (it was raining), and so he said that to this guy... or suppose to have said it, don't really know if it was really done or not.
And well, it's been a full week now since he's been back to work, Wedenesday he was called for a interview to find out what was said and what happen... and he was told today that he would know if he's fired or not. I don't know if this has been done before. But no one has yet to call to tell him if he's fired or not.
Does anyone work in Human Resources and if so what would happen? He's been suspended for 3 days before for something stupid (and I know he's not the only one that's happen to).
The kicker to this now is my Dad has been called up for Training with the National Gaurd and he'll be away for a month, and today he had to go up to his unit for formation by 2pm. He now just left, and without word as to if he'll have a job to come home to.
Does anyone anyone at all have any idea what'll happen?? Is he going to loose his job?
He spoke with his boss before he left today, and was told he didn't know anything. So he called the guy that interviewed him and left a message... do they honestly think a family can sit and wait a WHOLE month to find out when he comes back that he lost his job? Do they honestly think that it's good forum to do this to someone?
If they are going to fire him, they should have done this well before now, not wait!
Please if anyone has any idea, or anything they can tell me, please let me know. I have no idea what I'm going to do at this point, and I'll be honest I'm scared.
And lastly can anyone please say a few prayers and ask if he can keep his job, and learn from this mistake? Please...???
Sorry to rant, but I don't know what else to do, I can't wait anymore... and I know my Mom can't. - Mood:scared

| Don't get me wrong, I have a decent social life. (LOL OKAY) But I spend a lot of my life on the internet, especially after my parents blocked almost everything on my TV, my cellphone no longer plays tetris, and I've lost my poker cards and chips. Basically, even though it seems like the internet is like, never ending it isn't really. Chances are after a good hour on the internet you end up ranting in photobooth video and then watching it again, and again, and again or even sadder, reading up on the club kids and get distressed because you missed out on the scene.. Basically, I needed to find something to do, besides the obvious going outside. Because usually I'm on the internet specifically because I don't feel like taking the effort to make myself look presentable enough to go outside. I thought I'd found something perfect when I discovered Mindy Kaling's blog which was gorgeously shallow and really funny. Its been four months since she's updated though, so I'm guessing shes busy writing for the office. You can only reread someones blog a certain amount of times. while I was browsing on ohnotheydidnt I found an essay from Michael Ian Black's blog. Pretty fucking funny. Not as shallow, he updates more often, but the essays are like a quarter of the size. Whatever, beggars can't be choosers.
I used to go shopping every weekend. Its gone down to like every two months ever since I dropped shoplifting. Usually I'm pretty decent at finding cute clothes on sale for myself, and for whomever I'm with. Like, I'm a good shopping companion. But I've been going through a dryspell cause I haven't found shit. The highlight of my weekend was a fucking gap hoodie. Ugh fuck this shit. Half of my clothes and all of my makeup was jacked at camp so I haven't been looking fly lately. I don't know wassup but this has to stop ASAP. I'm dying here. On the other hand, I splurged and got a super expensive hair cut and my hair looks fly as FUCKING HALE. People who live in Boston, go to escape spa. Its bad ass, plus, the guys who do your hair are majorly hot.
Hope you guys have a fun weekend! - Tags:club kids, friends, hair, makeup, michael ian black, mindy kaling, ohnotheydidnt, ontd, poker, shopping, the office, tv

| A new Greek friend of mine has left Helsinki today early in the morning. Yesterday evening we met for the last time and I could see how sad she was, because she had to leave. And I so know how it feels, because I have gone through the same things. And.. maybe it is a bad thing to think like that, but the thought that I actually don't need to go anywhere made me feel so fucking good. You can realize such things only when you get to see the contrast of someone leaving and you staying! Then I had a long walk home through Mannerheimintie (for those who don't know - Mannerheim street is the longest street in Helsinki). I've developed this habbit of putting on my huge Sennheiser headphones and just walking there, listening to music and feeling myself completely shut off from the world around me. And yesterday it was more amazing than ever. It was that kind of a walk, when all the street lights are green for you, when your player plays the best of songs (it started for me with The Cure's "Lullaby"), when the night is just of the right temperature and when you feel in a complete harmony with what surrounds you. I am so going to miss those walks when I move out from Noora's place. I guess I will still be doing it from time to time though. The weekend has officially started and my 1st week at the university is officially over. I could never think I will ever be so busy, that I will have to write the meetings with my friends in my calendar, because otherwise I simply forget. However, I do really enjoy it, even though it is so completely different from anything that I have ever been through. Let's see what will follow. We are going to see Sex and the City with Noora tonight. They still show it here! I don't know what time it will be that I am watching this movie, but for the first time it is on the big screen and NOT dubbed!! Yey! | |

| Dear John McCain,
Thank you for handing Barack Obama the White House.
Thank you for choosing a woman, who has LESS experience than Obama. Love how you stuck with THAT selling point, there, Johnny.
And thank you for reiterating the ideal that a woman needs to be PRETTY to be successful.
I see her head shot, and I see porno movie.
I am SO watching the debate between Biden and Palin. Im predicting MANY giggles, and lols from it.
Thanks John!

| It started with Diego Luna and his young er girlfriend (whom he recently married) who happens to be just a little older th an me. As a way of dealing with the heartbreaking news (at least I choose to think so), Gael Garcia Bernal, Diego's loverboy, months later announced that he and his girlfriend are also expecting a baby (and this is probably his way of getting over the Diego-induced heartbreak). Just when I thought Baby Mamas would stop taking away all the good (looking) men in this world, I stumbled upon an article on Ohnotheydidnt! He has absolutely no relation with Diego and Gael (because those two are fine in their own little world). I think the only relation he has with those two is that he also has a special place in my h eart. ( Welcome to the club ) | |
