CBS must really get into the giving mood this time of year! We've just scored a slew of new, medium-res stills from previous episodes of Moonlight, episodes 1.1 - 1.8. And by "slew", we mean "80 or so". Check 'em out!

I'm happy to say that I liked the second episode much, much better than the first. Teaser:

After a previously segment in which Mick whines via Emo Voice Over (EVO) about monsters not getting a happily ever after, we open with Beth's BuzzLine story about a man named Lee Jay Spaulding, who is being released on parole after twenty-five years for a crime that many people believe he didn't commit. One of those people is Beth's interview subject (and friend) Julia, who has written a book about Spaulding. In his incredibly gorgeous apartment, Mick watches the interview and seethes with righteous indignation about the stupidity of humans. Logan Josef has heard the news and bears a few bottles of fresh blood to cheer Mick up. Interestingly, Mick drinks the blood, while last week he was injecting it straight into his holier-than-thou veins.

Josef says that he knows Mick wants to "take matters into [his] own hands," and adds with an impish smile that he has a few hours to kill. It's not clear as to whether Josef is offering to help Mick take care of the apparently dastardly Spaulding, or whether he's suggesting some hot vamp-on-vamp sex. Mick looks very tempted by the offer and chugs back some blood to try and tamp down his urges, whether they be murderous or sexual.
