Got home from CosplayMania a few hours ago, finally pushing through with that Code Geass cosplay we've been planning for a while now. After a lot of tears, money and blood a bit of dye, I finally assembled Nunnally Lamperouge's Ashford Academy Uniform, complete with wheelchair! (Thank you, ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) greyrook_22's grandmother. Bless your soul.)
Had Kuya Jan and Mommy drive me to Megamall at 10. Wheeled aforementioned wheelchair up to the fifth floor where I waited in line with alabapoy and himitsu_no_hime for tickets. Dashed into the bathroom to change into Nunnally costume. Came out an hour later, and set out on being mostly blind and immobile for the whole day.
There were a lot of people. Seriously. We couldn't move at all inside Megatrade, so we ended up going outside and down to Ohana for lunch. Ordered a burger and stared as another Nunnally cosplayer and her accompanying Lelouch walked by (with my second cousin in tow). Greeted the other Nunnally and had a wheelchair race to the front of Chow King.
Went back upstairs and lingered around the elevator while more of our group assembled. Took many many many pictures, played around with the wheelchair and fixed wigs many many times. Tried to go back into Megatrade, stopped a long time for pictures, went in, and then went out again because there was barely any breathing space.
Hung around for more pictures and pimping of AME 8th Avenue, then went down to Pizza Hut for dinner (a necessary venture). Got picked up at around 7, so I had to leave a bit early. All in all, the day was great, it was wonderful spending time with everybody, I love love love everyone for being patient, helpful, loving and cracky and I can't wait till the photoshoot.
Don't know how I'll be able to finish my Psychological Profile after this, though. La la la~

Well to start off I don't actually think this post will be really long as I'm super exhausted.
But here are some basics.
The damages: 27900 yen, or about 279.00 dollars. In goods. Yes you read that right, in goods. Now not all of that was from the concert, though about 20700 was. Most of that coming from the JunJun solo full set which was 15,700 yen. The rest was the hidden mini posters and pics you could buy. Which after the concert I traded with some of my wota friends for the ones I wanted and the ones they wanted.
The concert, was awesome. Our seats weren't the best, mainly cuz the first floor isn't sloped enough so you can't really see well, but between the screens, the energy and the closeness of the stage even with people packed in front of us, we saw enough. And the way you ride on the energy you're probably so high that you don't really focus on the individual girls all that much anyways.
Won't comment on the songs too much, but there was overall a great selection. A good blend of Morning Musume hits (with no Love Machine, Love Revolution, or anything too overplayed included), Cover songs that will be featured on the album Cover Yu which comes out next month, and 3 or 4 never released songs. One of the unreleased songs they sang sounds like it was probably supposed to be a Maki Goto release before her abrupt departure.
But the saddest part was Gaki's comments during one of the MCs that this had been the longest time without a change in line up, 1 and a half years. That'd a big hint that somebody's going to graduate in spring, and probably new auditions to coincide/follow. And the one who's been in the group the longest and has the most potential as a soloist, Takahashi Ai. Which would make me sad. She really pulled me in with her solo Cover song in this concert.
Though UFA seriously, you do not need to give LinLin the "Rin rin rin, rin rin rin rin" lines in Koi no Dial 6700 just because of her name, even if it is hilarious.
Koharu started out singing her solo version of Tan Tan Tan live, even going so far as to sing over the backup vocals of the other two girls who are in the anime group with her but not in Musume, then about halfway through I think she realized how much she sucks singing live and how much our ears were bleeding and suddenly switched to lip-syncing. Seriously, thank you Koharu, you saved me a lifetime of horror if you'd kept going.
Starting to wear down again so I think I'll end this there.
I did get horribly lost on the way to the concert hall but I'll leave that to later to explain. And will post a picture of my otaku-fied wall.
