how to start a thread under an alternate login

You must be a member in order to post or reply. Go join if you haven't. You can reply to posts as soon as you've joined, but a staff member must manually give you permission to post.
You may wish to remain logged in under your main LJ while posting here under another ID. You can accomplish this once your posting ID has joined the comm: just go to http://www.livejournal.com/update.bml?usejournal=moonburntlounge&altlogin=1 , enter your posting ID name and password, and continue as usual.
