I'm moving out of my apartment next month.

The apartment is a large 7 1/2 in Parc Extension.
I share with one other person. We each have our own bedrooms and offices.
Both bedroom and office have large windows and closets.
There is a shared living room, (huge) kitchen, and den.
There is a washer and dryer in the apartment.
The apartment would be for January 1st. I realize that the last week of January is insane, and I'd be totally able to have someone move in a little bit earlier.

The apartment is 5 minutes from Parc metro (3 blocks), and one block from the #80 bus.

My roommate is quiet and clean, in his late twenties. It's quiet, spacious, and a lot like living on your own.
Rent is $360 per month.

Three of the four roommates currently living here are moving out - come live in a fantastic and affordable apartment in St. Henri! 3rd floor apt. with balcony. Rent is $810 in total; appliances and furniture (kitchen table, chairs, sofa) included. Bedrooms partially furnished (desks), two with closets and one with hooks for clothes hangers. Great neighbourhood - minutes away from Lionel-Groulx metro station, Atwater Market, Super C, Lachine Canal, pharmacy, services, etc. Hydro/internet/etc not included, but costs are minimal split 4 ways. The neighbours are quiet and the landlord is pretty good, he recently installed a new back door and bathroom faucet. There is a no pets clause on the lease, but pets are allowed by the landlord as long as they don't disturb the other tenants (the downstairs neighbours have an extremely quiet german shepherd!)

Remaining roommate is a McGill biochem student currently subletting a room, who will be staying in the apartment; we would like to transfer the lease to him and any/all of your names can be on the new lease too!

It is a 7 ½ on Notre-Dame at Rose-de-Lima; rent is $200 for a (tiny) bedroom with closet and window. Utilities not included in rent, and optional internet & land phone with unlimited North American long distance for $18/month. We are three fairly geeky, queer- and trans-friendly McGill students, 21ish, two ciswomen and one cisman. We are mostly anglo and collectively study (urban) geography, women’s studies, and biochemistry. We are prone to accidentally staying up late talking, procrastinatory baking, playing board games (SETTLERS OF CATANNNN) and various combinations thereof. All of us are somewhat socially awkward and generally friendly! One of us is allergic to cats, but reptiles are strongly encouraged.

You are around our own age, preferably not excessively hip, and up for participating in roommate fun times. You are a considerate roommate (regular dishwashing, making little noise while people are sleeping, keeping common spaces clean). We're mostly vegetarian, share groceries and try to cook and eat together; we hope to find someone who is into that as well. We’re also hoping for a fairly environmentally conscious flatmate (turning off lights, keeping the heater low, using the vermicomposter, using cloth shopping bags, et cetera). I tried a bunch of the tags on Apartment finding in Montreal but am having trouble searching for a place around the Laurier-Mont Royal Metro area(s) past the McGill classifieds and Craigslist. I'm looking for a housemate to share a 8 1/2 in Petite Patrie / Little Italy. Somebody initially took a room for the summer, but then had to back out, so we're looking for someone for at least July and August, with the option to stay on indefinitely.

The apartment: Is a ground floor in a triplex, with a garden out back and front. The rent is $250 a month not including utilities (see details below). There are 4 bedrooms; yours would be either a rather funky little room with a window out into the backyard and one wall with a sort of stucco-arabesque counter like in a bar, with fake-gold inlined mirrors... um, yeah...you have to see it, obviously. The other room is in the front, with a window facing the street. It's normal. There are hardwood floors in the bedrooms and tile in the rest of the flat.

Other goodies: DSL, option to share costs for food, washing machine (no dryer... we use drying racks and a clothesline), compost box we built ourselves. Beaubien Metro is 5 minutes away (orange line), and there are tons of restaurants, shops, etc., in the area.

About us: two friendly queer guys, one German and one American/Canadian, ages 28 and 32, one a film student at Concordia and one a translator/history geek. The other housemate is a French-Canadian girl, 24, a biology student at MacDonald College. We speak English, German, French, Italian, and a little bit of Spanish. None of us smoke, but we're ok with it if you are religious about opening windows or smoking outside. We don't each much meat but will not sue you if you poke our tofu with your chicken fork.

Money money money: Rent is $250 a month, one month minimum, to be paid upon moving in. Utilities usually turn out to be about $70-80 a month. In the past, we have bought bulk food by each contributing $50 a month, but that's optional.

St Laurent clubs are all walking distance, so basically this place fits your every need! There are two rooms available. Stone walls, washer and dryer in the building. Rent is a bit under $300 and heating is included for those interested in signing onto the new lease in september and being here for the winter.

I'm a 20 year old male student at concordia, I'm really relaxed but I do like to go out and have fun. My current roommates are smokers and smoke in the apartment, but once they move out I'm introducing a no smoking cigarettes in the house policy. I say cigarettes because i smoke the hookah once or twice a week which doesnt make the  place smell bad!

On recherche UN/E coloc NON-fumeus/e et semi-tranquille pour le 1er (ou le 15 au plus tard) janvier 2007, pour un appart à partager avec 2 autres sympathiques (!!!) colocs dans la mi-vingtaine et tout aussi semi-tranquilles, dans un 5 ½ ensoleillé en plein cœur de Rosemont, adjacent Plateau Mont-Royal. 2 minutes de la promenade Masson, 5 minutes de 4 trajets d’autobus (mi-chemin entre métros joliette, st-michel, iberville et laurier). La chambre est présentement meublée (pour 460$) MAIS il y possibilité qu'elle ne soit pas meublée et à ce moment, les charges sont séparées également à trois, ce qui revient à environ 385$ chacun. Évidemement, tout est inclus dans le 460$ (hydro, eau chaude, téléphone, internet haute vitesse avec ou sans cable, assurances, cable télévision Illico, etc.,) sauf la nourriture. Room for Rent!
Basement room in NDG corner of Monkland/Montclair. It is a beautiful old house and the room itself is huge. I need to move because I need to be closer to school but everyone who lives here (3 McGill students and 1 Concordia student) are very friendly and respectful roommates. The rent is very reasonable as hydro/heat is included and there is DSL internet. The house is close to the 105 bus which goes straight to Vendome Metro and the 162 bus which goes straight to Villa Maria metro. my name is Romy. I am looking for an apartment for January 1, 2007. I am willing to share and apartment as I would rather live somewhere decent with a roommate than in a tiny apartment by myself.
Anyway, some - of the criteria I am interested in are:

1)I am looking for somewhere in central Montreal, whether that be downtown or in the surrounding areas. I need to be somewhere where it is easy to travel to and from, which as I understand it, shouldn't be much of a problem in central Montreal. I also may be taking some courses at Concordia or McGill, so accessibility to the one I choose to attend is important.

2)I would prefer to live in a relatively quiet building.

3)I would prefer to live in a character apartment, but I'll consider what's available.

4)I would prefer to have in-suite laundry. If it is absolutely not an option, than having a laundry room in the building/a laundromat nearby is an asset.

5) I am willing to pay roughly $350-500/month and the more that is included, the better. Having mentioned that, I am aware that this almost certainly means that I will have to have a roommate.

I will be away from Feb.1 until May 1 2007 and need to rent out my room.
I live on de Lorimier just off of Ontario in a (HUGE) 7 1/2, with a ginourmous living room, big kitchen, a basement and a parking spot. Hi! We need to fill up a room ASAP. (Nov 1 ish) We have a spacious four bedroom, two bathroom, two balcony apartment above St. Laurent (this is pretty much ground zero for all the cool goings ons in this city). You could move in before November 1st, for free! If you want to move in a little later, this is okay too. The roommates are 2 male mcgill students and 1 male snowboarder/artist. There is a ping pong table, and a huge kitchen. There is a washer, dryer and a dishwasher. Hardwoord floors, modern appliances, the whole deal. This really can't be beat for the price.

Il est situé dans le quartier Villeray au coin des rues Guizot et Casgrain. Les frais sont de 335$ et ca inclut l'électricité, le téléphone, l'internet super haute-vitesse et le chauffage. De mai à août, le coût descend de 50$ puisqu'il n'y a pas de chauffage à payer. La fenêtre de la chambre est neuve, elle a été changée à l'été 2005 (plusieurs rénovations ont été effectuées à ce moment.)

Room for rent in a 7 1/2 shared with 3 other persons. This is a big appartement, with a courtyard and a basement. It is located in Villeray at the corner of Casgrain and Guizot. The cost of 335$ includes electricity, phone, super high speed internet and heat. From may to august, it is reduced by 50$ since you dont pay for heat in this period. The room's window is new, it has been changed at the summer of 2005 and many other renovations have been done at the same time.
