VDAY McGill is seeking passionate performers for our February 2010 production of Eve Ensler's "The Vagina Monologues."

- No acting experience is necessary.
- Participants need not be a McGill student or alumna to audition.
- CVs and headshots are appreciated but not required.
- Please prepare a 2-3 minute monologue, poem, or book excerpt.
- Auditions will be 5 minutes in length.

Theatre From The Future, Montreal's seriously awesomest geek theatre for kids is looking for an actor for a play to be presented at the end of March.

Rehearsals on Saturday afternoons, show is one hour. The part available is designed for a female actor, but could be played by a male actor.

AUDITION NOTICE

From The Future, Montreal's premier emerging geek theatre, is seeking puppeteers/actors for its upcoming TYA production: Play!. Group auditions will take place at the end of September. Performance date is December 6th at the Centaur Theatre Saturday Morning Children's Series + 2 more presentations, dates TBA.

Kamilah is eleven and soccer is her only passion. She tries out for and makes the soccer team, and is having the time of her life until the pressures of the media, her strict Muslim father, Bahmood, and her feelings of alienation start to crowd in on her elation. She and her team are headed for the championship game when Kamilah gets called off the field for wearing a hijab! With everyone going on about who's right and who's wrong, the kids wonder if the grownups will ever understand that they just want to play soccer.

We are seeking three puppeteers/actors for this production to form an ensemble cast, playing various characters. The show features hand and paper puppets, as well as overhead projector effects, and classic rock parodies.

Je tourne un court métrage la fin de semaine du 5-6 mai prochain pour (espérons-le) être présenté au Spasm. C'est donc un court métrage semi horreur semi science-fiction semi comédie.

Je n'ai malheureusement pas les moyens de payer mon acteur, mais la bouffe lui sera fournie ainsi qu'un lift pour le tournage (s'il vit à Montréal évidemment).

C'est un rôle principal qui a peu de texte. Le rôle demande un homme francophone sans accent anglais de plus de 55 ans.

Le tournage prendra une seule journée et nécessitera environ 5-6 heures de tournage.
