alternative to Concordia's Webster Library

I was looking up to see if they were going to do all-night hours for the summer, but was highly disappointed that they weren't gonna be open from Sat on to Sept 2nd. Is there an alternative to studying at Con U? A place that would be open 24h (or very late) where you could easily go for a nap without worrying about theft, and have free wireless... or is that only in a fantasy world?

emergency vet

i haven't seen this vet mentioned anywhere, but in case anyone needs an emergency vet and can't get all the way to lachine, there's Dr. Gosselin Yves in brossard. open 24 hours, and a vet there till 2 am. i had to bring my cat there last night after he started breathing through his mouth and they did all they could, but we ultimately had to put him down.

it's on 7415 taschereau boulevard, across from the reno depot, right off of rome boulevard. the number is 450 656 3660

edit: thanks, all. he was 12, and i've had him as i was turning 8 and he was a few months, so it hit hard.

Downtown Delivery

So it's Sunday night, and I would really like to just order some supper. Since it's now after 10pm, and I've spent the last hour and a half trying to find menus online to order from, I need help. Does anybody know if any websites that have menus for delivery, that is not restomontreal.ca? Or, if you know of any yummy chinese or indian food places that deliver late, downtown, to the Guy-Concordia area? I'm sick and am not in the mood to go pick anything up or cook for myself. Please help!

I'm living in Cote-Des-Neiges for a bit (by Cedar I guess) and I was wondering what places would deliver foods to me for a dinner. I'd prefer cheap foods please. (Yeah  know I can just cook but sometimes I'm lazy and my agoraphobic boyfriend isn't gonna go grocery shopping with me just so I can buy him meats that I won't eat...so yeah.)

Also if I were to go out for foods one day by myself, where would you recommend eating? Are there many 24 hour places in the area? Preferably ones along the 165 bus route/it's respective night bus option. Also preferably cheap.

One more thing, sorry. I've recently discovered Toffuti at the Maxi near Jean Talon and Cote-Des-Neiges...does any other place on the island sell the crack that is Toffuti Cuties (non-dairy ice cream sandwiches)? They're so good.

Help!!

I'm going to leave on my very first trip to montreal, I had a few last minute questions.
1. How much are metro tickets? is there a pass for weekends or anything?
2.What time does it stay open until or open in the morning?
3. is there any 24h places around the coach canada bus terminal? (I will be arriving very early in the morning, and cant go to my accommodation until 9h.
4. Lastly does anyone know where the coach canada terminal is in relation to a metro stop? I'm kinda confused

Afterhours on a Tuesday, something to do?

Hi,

my boyfriend and I are heading into Montréal to see Bloc Party at Métropolis on Tuesday the 27th. The show will probably be over around 12:30, meaning we'll miss the last bus back to Ottawa. Any suggestions what to between 12:30-5:30 on a Tuesday night in Montréal? I don't know if any afterhours places are open on Tuesday.

Obviously we can go to a bar or the 24-hour Second Cup on Ste. Catherine or something, but any more unique/interesting ideas? Preferably around the Métropolis (59 Ste. Catherine E.) but near Berri-UQAM or McGill University is okay. We're both 18 if it matters.

Thanks!

I've searched in the memories and the tags to no avail...

Does anyone know where I can get photocopies made at this time of night? Seems like the only Bureau en Gros that still has a 24 hour copy centre is in "Beauport". I'm trying to find anything!

Thanks
