Montréal

Hey, so someone mentioned CJAD's free movies in the park a few entries back. I think Marley and Me played this Thursday in Dorval. Was anyone there? How is the event organized? I'd like to go to the next movie, maybe, so if anyone could tell me how everything goes down and maybe any heads-up like if I need to bring a camping chair or around what time the movie starts, that'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am newish to Montreal and haven't had any luck asking a few of the local people for suggestions, so I am hoping the large world of Montreal on LJ will be able to help.

I need a new bra, or two. I have large breasts and need to shop at a specialty place that stocks bras with big cup sizes (at least F), in regular band sizes (32-36). Where is this place in Montreal? I'm looking to spend between $60 and $100, and should be able to get what I need for that.

I was wondering if anybody knew of a good life coach? I went to see a hypnotherapist and it was a train wreck. I saw one "life coach" many moons ago, but she left the country. I'm not looking for a therapist - just need need help putting theory and plans into action. I know there are some individuals out there who claim to be life coaches, or NLP teachers, but you often find out too late and hundreds of dollars spent that they are quacks. Any suggestions, tips would be greatly appreciated :-)

I'm here on an exchange program for the summer, and some friends and I have been hoping to go dancing somewhere. In my hometown clubs sometimes do underage nights, where they don't serve alcohol and people just go for the fun dance music.
I'm looking for something like this because two of my friends who want to go are underage, and I want to make sure we all have fun.
So, just wondering if underage clubs exist in Montreal, or if any of the regular clubs have underage nights in the summer.

 I know this might sound like a strange question, but does anybody know anybody who is:
a) a doctor in cuba
b) might be connected to anybody else who knows doctors in Cuba or the cancer institute there
or
c) might know somebody who is undergoing cancer treatment in Cuba.

I was there a few weeks ago, and met a Cuban tour guide who told me many Canadians are going down to Havana for experimental cancer treatments, because apparently,  Cuba is one of the countries that are at  the forefront of cancer research. Not a nice thing for places like canada or the US to say since they want everybody to stay in their own countries and feed the system.

This is not the first time I have heard about this, but alas, the times in the past when i had, I didn't need the information because I didn't have somebody close to me who is desperately trying to fight this disease as they are now.

Getting information in and out of cuba is difficult if you don't have the proper channels, so that's why i'm hoping that somebody might have first hand experience/contact/information.

Hi!

I'm looking for people that went to the No Doubt show at the Bell Center, june 17th.

I happened to be pick to get on stage and take a picture with members of the band so I'm trying to find people that might have taken pictures or videos of this. I tried to find people in the ND community and on youtube but with not much luck so I'm turning to you Mtl community.

Anyone that has something they can share with me even if it's crappy quality I'll be so happy!
