Used VHS usagés à Montréal

Are there still stores that sell VHS movies in Montréal? I'm looking for a film that's not out in DVD, and before trying to buy it online I'd like to make sure there isn't a copy of it hiding in a store somewhere I don't know about in town.

The only two places where I've seen (used) VHS for sale lately were in the basement of the Marché du Disque on Mont-Royal, where a couple of tapes were still gathering dust, and at the Librairie Québécoise, on Ste-Catherine. And neither store had the movie I'm looking for.

Does anyone know of other places that still sell VHS films?

The film I'm looking for is Monolith (1993), starring Bill Paxton. It's a science-fiction film that I'd really like to rewatch even though it's not especially good. In English, preferably, though I wouldn't pass up a French dubbed version.
Bomp!

Where do Geeks meet?!

I'm a geek at heart and a huge science-fiction fan and I was wondering if any of you know if there's a place in Montreal where geeks meet from time to time. And please don't say the Montreal Scifi and Fantasy Association. I've been there once and I'm not even going to comment. I think the average age of  the people there was 50 years old. Is there some sort of group/organization that's younger and more dynamic?

Best way to sell really expensive earrings?

This isn't pertaining to Montreal directly but perhaps someone here can give me advice.

I have a pair of stupidly expensive Birks earrings which I've received as a present several years ago that I'd like to sell, because I'm in university and poor and need to, you know, eat and pay bills (and, as a consequence of being poor, don't go places where I could wear those earrings to). I thought eBay might be a good route to go, even though I've never used it, but a few friends told me I should try to sell them locally to avoid having to pay for shipping (and also because shipping expensive jewelry probably looks super-sketchy and it's bound to get confiscated or lost somewhere along the way). My friends think I should try Craigslist and sell it locally.

Do you think that's a good way of doing it? Can anyone recommend any other websites / methods?
