Psychics, Spiritual/Holistic Healers

Does anyone know of any very good and relatively inexpensive psychics and/or spiritual healers in this city?

I want a repeat episode of the good ones I've had in other places, the kind of person that sees you and immediately reads your life as though the whole thing is projected through your eyes, blows your mind just a little bit, provides rock-solid advice, and genuinely cares about how the whole healing process works for individuals.

I'm down for anything: astrologers, acupuncturists, counselors, masseuses, reiki practitioners, etc. Basically someone who is evidently connected to.. something, out there and naturally provides others with access to that doorway.

Hip Hairdresser

I know people ask about hairdressers a lot, but I just can't find what I'm looking for.

Ideally, I'd like to walk into a place where the clientèle and employees are all 20-30, wearing skinny-leg jeans and discussing arthouse cinema. Bonus if they go to clubs like Korova and Jupiter Room.

Or even just a place that's not filled with old women or businessmen.

I live downtown, but I don't mind traveling a bit for the right place.

workshop in runic magic

greetings.
here is a post to inform all interested about a workshop happening this sunday at melange magique in Runic magic.
blurb:

Sunday, July 13, 2008
1:00pm - 3:00pm

Most people know the Norse Runes as a powerful system of divination. Our Nordic forebears also used the runes for several other purposes; as charms, wards, and 'spells' on one hand, and as powerful keys to unlocking the secrets of the mysteries on the other. In this workshop we will be focusing on the many uses of the Elder Futhark as a system of divination, magick, and initiatory wisdom into the mysteries of the Nordic world tree
class requires prepaid registration at least two days prior to event.

$30 registration fee. to register phone or visit store

Beaches anywhere?

I've lived in Montreal my whole life so it's pretty shamfull for me to admit that when it comes down to finding this to do with my family around here i'm at a total loss. I was wondering if there was any nice beaches to go to around here. I've heard of oka beach and was told that it was a nudess beach which i really don't think i should take my 12 year old son. Anyone ever been there?  I'd love some insight on oka beach and any other beach that wouldn't be too far :)

Bed linens?

Hello! I am on a keyboard I do not quite understand, so apologies for any incorrect characters!

Myself and my partner have just stated subletting today. It's a lovely place but there are no bedsheets, pillowcases, or a blanket. I've done a Google search for it and checked the memories here, but I can't figure out where the best place is to go. We're pretty much broke, so we're looking for somewhere that sells these things ultra-cheap (would $20-30 all in be unreasonable?) and will be open for a while yet this evening.

Basically, where do we go and how much should we expect to spend? We're in the Plateau area (St. John Baptiste sub-area), between St. Denis and St. Laurent.

Thanks so much! :)
