| About: | This is a community devoted to the character Ritsu from the anime/manga Fruits Basket. Ritsu belongs to the wonderful Takaya Natsuki and the other powers that be over that anime. Now that we have that crap done, on to the good stuff: This site serves two purposes: the first is a place for Ritsu affectionados to gush, exchange fanworks, and oggle the pictures of our pretty monkey boy while maybe theorizing on him. The second is this works in conjunction with the Monkey Business character shrine: in lieu of posting all fanworks that come my way, fanworks can be placed here and updates that would have gone to the shrine can go up on here (software troubles, time constraints, and laziness have made updating the shrine virtually impossible for me). Rules 1.) Anyone can join. However, it would just make sense that you be familiar with Fruits Basket and have at least a passing interest in Ritsu to join. 2.) While we are allowed to gush and obsess over how pretty he is and how adorable he is and other inane stuff, please don't make that every single post. One "isn't he cute!" post once in a while is more than enough for everyone. 3.) Please keep all images, spoilers, and long (more than 10 lines) posts behind an LJ cut. The wonderful LJ FAQ will help you to make an LJ cut. 4.) Adult fanworks are allowed, but please warn us in advanced that they are for the adult crowd and contain things that the kiddies shouldn't be seeing. 5.) Like I stated on the site rules, fanworks should feature Ritsu as a central character. This means as important or more important than the other characters. There are general Fruits Basket comms if you want to post your fanworks about other characters. 6.) Please respect the other members of the comm. Even if someone posts "I think Ritsu is an alien from the planet Addelbob 5!", try to be respectful when you disagree with them. Wrong answer: "what the hell are you smoking buddy?" Right answer: "What evidence do you have to back that up?" 7.) If you have breaking news about Fruits Basket in general and you don't think enough people in this comm are on general Fruits Basket comms as well and you are just dying to share it with the world, then go ahead and share it. Just try to keep off-topic posts to a minimum. 8.) Never doubt Goo's devotion to Ritsu or his claim to be the biggest Ritsu fan in the world. The guy is growing his hair out to cosplay him, runs the shrine and this board, and is getting a tattoo of him as a monkey. He is a creepy, lifeless, pathetic young man. Yes, this is a joke and if you want to claim to be the "Ultimate Ritsu Fan", go ahead. Just be ready when Goo comes to see if you can stand by that claim. ^_~ Failure to comply with these few and reasonable rules will result in warnings, possible bannination, and a public beating from the Doorknob Stick.
