I made a few screencaps from "Hey hey we're the monkees" (the 1996 one-off episode) and got a little carried away...

Due to a bizzare combination of no sleep, too much fruit juice and nothing better to do, I ended up with quite a lot (*Cough*600-ish*cough*!) And since that's FAR too many to post up, would anyone like (and am I allowed to?) a zip-file of the lot of them?

Firstly, a big hello to all the rest of you out here! I've recently reawakened my Monkees *cough*Davy Jones*cough* obsession, and thusly, am making an appearance! (Not that my obsession ever went away...it was just on a... temporary hiatus for a while, hehe) I fell in love with Davy while watching the Monkees on Nick at Nite's block party summer when I was in 5th/6th grade. He was one of my first celebrity crushes. Yep. I'm a dork. (Not that I don't love them all...my husband is a big fan of Mike,lol.)

Secondly, for legality sake:

Thirdly, feel free to Davy picspam me at any time. I've looked through all the archives of this group, but so many images are expired!

I came across this picture while searching for Davy pics on Google.

According to the site that it's from (www.mediastorehouse.com) it's from August of 1965, so this must have been just before The Monkees got started. I thought it was really neat, and I hadn't seen it before, so I thought I'd share. :)

Does anyone have any pictures of The Monkees when they appeared on American Bandstand? I've been re-watching all of the American Dreams episodes, and I saw them performing "Last Train..." on the show. I couldn't picture them actually on the show, so wanted to throw it out there. Thanks:)
