Who are the Monkees? |
Davy, Peter, Mike and Micky.
Davy Jones: The Face. The cute one. The short one. The British one. Played
the tamborine and maracas. Fell in love at least once a day, always got the
girl. Often seen with stars in his eyes.
Peter Tork: The Dummy (not in real life.)
Played the bass, but also played guitar, banjo, piano etc. Often seen in
moccasin boots & wearing his belt buckle off to the side (so he wouldn't
scratch his guitar!)
Mike Nesmith: The straight man. The leader. Tall cool Texan - often mistaken
for serious by those who don't catch his subtle deadpan humor. Played the
guitar. Often seen in sideburns and wearing a green wool hat.
Micky Dolenz: The funny one. Played the drums.
Straightened hair first season, curly hair second. Often seen wearing a
tablecloth.
