ROACH updated their official site!

They have a new color background and most importantly, they have a new look *_*! Our boys went from happy sunshine to bad ass gothic XD! Okay, maybe not "gothic" but they're wearing black :P You know what this means, right? Most likely there will probably be an announcement of a new release \^0^/! Or at least I'm hoping so :3

Hi, everybody! I'm new here~ :D clockwork_yume introduced me to ROACH around the beginning of the year, and I rapidly fell in love with them. However, I'm an idiot, and I didn't realize until I sprouted an interest in making my own ROACH-support community on LJ that one already existed. But now, I've joined and am glad to be amongst you fine people. :)

So, I have a question that's been plaguing me: "Man, what's up with 'Dandiga'?" Does anyone know the origin of/inspiration for this song (or have lyrics for it)? Whenever I listen to it, I can't help but think whatever language Ta~ma's singing in is not Japanese, and I'd like to jump to conclusions and say it's Okinawago/Uchinaaguchi, but I'm not even familiar with Okinawaben/Uchinaa Yamatoguchi, let alone the independent language. Does anyone here have any exposure to Okinawago/Okinawaben? Either way, it's a really cool song. The linguistic stuff always peaks my curiosity, though. :D I checked Google and Wikipedia and didn't turn up a whole lot in the way of title-origin, either. Although Wiki Japan did turn up a 100% match for Haiti when I input "Dandiga" in katakana. I'm not sure why, since nowhere on the page does it say 「ダンディガ」 (although I may have just missed it since, like, the entire page is in katakana, pretty much).

But anyway~ Glad to be here! Go, go ROACH!

New Single: scarlet

Whoa, minna-sama minna-sama, it's been over a month since anyone posted here!

Anyway, ROACH will be releasing a new single titled scarlet on November 21st! It will be selling for 1,050 yen and... maybe those who are more fluent in Japanese can clarify this line "☆「scarlet」エンハンスド映像を収録予定" something about an enhanced photo will be included, I think.

I'm glad they're finally releasing something new. I love their full-length, but damn, I'm ready for some new songs XD
