MomoCon understands that sometimes there is not enough space our annual convention for all of the awesome board/card/RPG gaming, so we are proud to present this event, the Summer Gaming Festival, featuring your favorite analog games, including:

* Dungeons and Dragons
* Magic the Gathering
* Munchkin
* Other Steve Jackson games
*Paranoia
* and much more!
(Attendees are invited to bring their favorites to share the fun)

In between your gaming fixes, check out the retro gaming rooms, full of the best of yesterday from the video game world. MomoCon boasts one of the largest and most unique retro console/home brew concoction collections of any convention and we are happy to bring much of it for your enjoyment!

Registration will be at the door only and will get you access to all of the board/card/RPG and retro video gaming that you can handle!

When: Saturday, May 30th, Time 1:00pm
Where: Roswell Mill (85 Mill Street, Roswell, 30075).
We will meet-up at the end of the parking lot of Ivy Hall near the entrance to the trails.

-FYI their are no public restrooms at the trails. Their are some fast food places, CVS, and other small retail relatively close. We will bring a hanging portable screen for anyone who needs to change on premise.

Many thanks to Bill Winans and Aleathia Burns for taking the time to be our costume contest's judges, to all those who had the courage and drive to enter the contest both in-competition and non-competitively (walk-ons), and to all the staff who worked on the contest and catwalk behind the scenes.

Well folks, with MomoCon only days away, the Staff is in "Red Alert" mode with preparations. We're really pumped about the fun weekend of events we have in store for you: our first band the Extraordinary Contraptions, Seraphina's Otaku Fusion Belly Dancing among our new offerings along with old favorites like the Retro Console Room, Tournaments, Card-Board gaming rooms, panels upon panels galore and more!

Don't let possibility of rain scare you from exploring everything both buildings have to offer. You'll miss out on half the convention if you hideaway in just one. So make that short sprint up the sidewalk to the Instructional Center.

If you've enjoyed our previous opening video parodies: Iron Chef, Law & Order, and Saw, you'll want to grab a seat at opening ceremonies for this year's. It's also the only way to enter the "Farthest From" Contest.

Well it's that time again...Staff Recruitment & Meeting time! So, if you want to enlist with the MomoCon crew, join us this Sat (24th) from 5pm - 7pm in room 343 of the Georgia Tech Student Center, where the Artists Alley in 2008 was placed. Only 2 more chances after this one; we won't be taking any on-site volunteers this year.

The ball was a smashing success. 97 paid attendees plus 20 more (Staff and their dates). And it's worth mentioning, females outnumbered the males ^_^. We'll have photos up as soon as they're ready. MomoCon has just updated its Winter Ball Website and it's chock full of useful info. Most importantly a PayPal link to pre-order discounted tickets ($8 or $10 at the door). Remember to put your full name in the information box, as an ID will be needed to pick up your ticket.
