I've been fiddling with my own textures for a couple years in sporadic fits but I've never posted any. There are so many other people who do them far, far better than I ever will. But today I was feeling a little creative, I guess, took a stab in the dark and came up with this random set. They're nothing fancy but I like them.

All of these textures are based on images from sxc.hu.

I have a bit of a girl crush on Katie Cassidy now, which is weird because her acting still bugs me at times on Supernatural. But she's super pretty and she's got awesome hair.

I have over 150 SPN icons to post, as well. I love procrastinating when I have other things to do. :D

I figured since I haven't seen 3.06 yet I might as well post some icons. This is the tail end of the older icon clean out and now I'm getting into the newer icons I've been making.

♥ I haven't forgotten about the request icons, I've just been inspired by the new episodes and have been seriously iconning them like there's no tomorrow. Feel free to leave a request here if you still want an icon, just follow the guidelines.
♥ Much love for this post by letsey_x whose technique I tried out on 29, 30, 32-35. I don't think I quite got the hang of it like she does but it's still hella cool and I really like the way 30 and 35 came out.
♥ I've been thinking about opening this community up to another icon maker. I'm not quite sure how to go about doing it. Anyone have any experience with that? Do I take applications or invite someone, or what?

The request thing worked A LOT better last time when people provided pictures for their icons, rather than just subjects, so let's try that again!

I'll take the first... however many, I don't know. I'll close the post when I have enough. You must provide me with images. They should be good quality, the bigger the better. You can check out the caps tags in my journal or my capsite, if you want. Or you should check out treasurebox which rocks SO hard, as do the ladies who run it- gwentastic and moonilicious.

For TV shows I will only icon Supernatural, Queer as Folk, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Dexter, Buffy, Dead Like Me, Dark Angel and Smallville. Movies are fine. I'll do popslash (Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, etc) icons but not bandom.
