--A FEW RULES--
1 - KEEP ALL POSTS ON-TOPIC!!
Yes, I know, this may seem hard at first, but it's not -- trust me!
If you feel tempted to post adverts for other communities -- DON'T! If you feel tempted to post adverts for your band, store, web-comic or whatever; first check the info-page and community interests. If the community interests seem nothing like your thing you're publicising -- DON'T POST IT HERE!!
Sounds simple, yes, but you'd be AMAZED at how much people break this rule.
First time breaking this rule is punishable by the deletion of your post. Second time breaking is punishable by warning and deleting. After that, well, pray.
2 - DO NOT BE AN ASS.
Don't like what somebody's hair looks like? Don't like them? TOUGH SHIT!! If that's the case, keep your mouth shut! That's the rule -- keep your mouth shut. If you can't say something nice -- or offer constructive criticisms -- keep your goddamned mouth shut.
Why?
If you don't, it causes needless drama and then NOBODY is happy because YOU BROKE A RULE and the person you insulted just came to ME and next thing you know, I'm going to start banning people and this whole big to-do is going to start happening and well, then nobody's going to be happy. Trust me -- it happened before.
4 - READ THE F.A.Q. BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS.

To help you with this, the Punk Hair FAQ is linked to at several places throughout the community. It's on the main community page, the Info Page and right here in this sentence -- as well as in several posts by yours truly,newdance.
The Punk Hair F.A.Q. came into existence because several people in this community were a little tired with seeing the same questions asked over and over again so now there's a place to contribute questions and answers and photos and stuff so that people don't have to ask the same things over and over again.
If the question that you have cannot be found in the F.A.Q. then feel free to make a post to ask. If you have an alternate answer to a question already posted in the FAQ then feel free to share it with people either in a post -or- by e-mailing the Punk Hair FAQ so that it can be posted.
5 - IF YOUR PICTURES ARE HUGE, USE AN LJ-CUT.
Another self-explanitory rule.
If you do not know how to do an LJ-cut, then refer to Item Number 75 in the LiveJournal FAQ for instructions on the LJ-cut HTML tag.
You see, we here are big on reading the FAQ before posting anything of any variety simply because it makes things easier on EVERYBODY in the end.
6 - NO FAUXHAWKS ALLOWED.
Maybe if you did something different with it, but generally speaking, it's not really a Mohawk if you just slick down the sides of your hair and stand the rest up.
7 - IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM OR QUESTION ABOUT ANYTHING IN THE COMMUNITY, LET ME KNOW.

This community is to be considered NEUTRAL TERRITORY amongst its members! You know what that means? It means that you aren't suppossed to annoy people when they're acting in a manner that is more-or-less peaceful.
If somebody's posting photos, you may have every right not to like them, but it does nothing constructive to say mean or hurtful things about them! If you do so, don't you DARE act surprised when somebody contacts ME about it (or simply says something equally or more hurtful or stupid right back at you). I'm all about keeping the peace here, so if you act like a fool in neutral territory, you WILL be reprimanded in whatever means appropriate.
Now, you can go do whatever you like and say whatever you like to people outside the community, but don't come complaining to ME if somebody starts harrassing you in your own LiveJournal or in real life as a direct effect of something that happened in the community. While it was going on in the community, I probably did whatever I felt necessary -- as soon as it left the community, it became something known as Somebody Else's Problem (mainly YOURS).
