Greetings! As you all know, this sad little community has become a desolate wasteland, devoid of any interesting discussion or activity. It seems that there simply isn't much to discuss here regarding the Mobius Forum (short of newbie-welcoming topics).
In an spontaneous act of boredom generosity, I have decided to begin a rebirth of this Livejournal community. No longer is the Mobius Forum our theme. Instead, our main discussion shall be Mr Creosote's Happy Fun Place of Postings! For those who are unaware, Mr. Creosote's Blablabla (we prefer to call it Creoforums or Creoland) is a small forum where several current and former MoFoers like to hang out and chat about whatever is on our minds. I'm one of a few Americans who post there; most of the others are British.
I'm sure you all have some questions running through your mind. You're probably wondering how you will ever get used to this change. However, I have confidence that you Livejournalists will become excellent Creosians over time.
Of course, if there is a unanimous vote to switch back to the MoFo theme (I don't see why there should be, since no one uses it anyway), I will of course switch it back. I've saved all of the previous settings, so none of the old crap will be lost.

I mentioned this in the chat, and it scares me how accurate it is, on the whole.
The Mobius Forum has a curse, a curse which effects the many happy couples who originated there. The MoFo Couples.
See, the males in these relationships are doomed to leave the forum.
No, I'm serious. Eon left after getting with Harley. Terg left for his mission while with Cookie and broke up with her before returning. VCP left a while ago. Craig's been trying very very hard to leave for good ever since meeting up with Trishie. CJ left and later became part of a MoFo relationship. Technically we can say that My Will left the MoFo before falling for Becca.
The only exception is Terg-Mau.
Which makes me assume that Mau is the man in that relationship.
...scary, huh? Don't fall in love with a MoFoer if you both want to stay on the forum, it's too dangerous. |

Deckman's last post really snapped a lightbulb into me. Seeing as I tend to get extremely lazy when it comes to Livejournal and that Tricia is gone for a while, I've decided to get a thrid maintainer. Everyone, please give a welcome of any variety to Deck as part of our staff.

Apart from this opening paragraph, this entire post is virtually copied and pasted straight from the topic I made in MFC. Basically, Craig hasn't gotten around to announcing the MoFo meet-up this year (although apparently he has been organising it already behind all our backs }:O), so I'm taking it upon myself to start announcing and organising things publicly.
Plans will be the same as they usually are. We hijack Comic Expo (http://www.comicexpo.net), Bristol, for our own nefarious purposes, which mainly consist of sitting on the floor talking and occasionally moving to eat or buy/look at paraphernalia, memorabilia and other things ending in -lia.
The event is held simultaneously at the British Empire Commonwealth and Exhibition Hall, which is literally right next to Bristol Temple Meads train station, and the Ramada Plaza Hotel, which is like right across the road. The convention will take place on Saturday 13th May 10am - 6pm and Sunday 14th May 10.30am - 5pm. Tickets are £6/day for the adults and £1/day for the kiddiwinkles (11-16; under 10s free).
