Week One, and I'm tired! Ok, so I haven't been going to bed extra early, but still... Either way, all is cool. I'm going to bed early tonight.
Today was indeed a great day. After my struggles with finding a job over the summer, I made the determination to do some major networking this year.....particularly because I would need a full-time job (if I decide against a doctoral degree). My mission to become a networking socialite has begun.
Honestly, it amazes me how far you can go just from being audacious. Things unfolded for me in a positive way today; truly surpassed my expectations. For that, I am grateful.
Two words: Informational Interviews. God is good.
I'm still tired, though. And I need to buy my books for class. And do TA stuff. But that isn't on the agenda today. I'm happy with my classes... I've had all except the one on Mondays.
I'm going to shower, read a bit (oops! My book club book is still unread, and it's been about 3 weeks overdue now), and get to bed at a decent hour.
