thin_lipid: Tracfone Service

I don't know how many people use or have considered using Tracfone, but don't. Their service is shit. I had a problem with my phone and I lost 40$ worth of minutes and did they give me my minutes back? No. They made me sit on hold for a fucking hour and when I called back they did absolutely nothing for me. DO NOT USE TRACFONE!

empty_branch: Credo Mobile

Anyone ever heard of or used Credo Mobile? I've gotten some iffy reviews online but the idea behind their company is really cool. Anyone have any experiences, good or bad, with them? Fri, Jun. 6th, 2008, 11:30 pm

Hey everyone, I'm Kris, and I use T-Mobile prepaid (which I'm not too fond of their prepaid service...). I have a Nokia XpressMusic 5300 and I absolutely love it, but i'm about to switch back to Cricket mobile, and can't find a phone anywhere like it. I love how you can upload ANYTHING to your phone by usb, and you can also set the mp3's you upload as ringtones...anyone know of a phone comparable to the XpressMusic 5300? crystalic_chick: Krzr question

Okay, so I recently got a Motorola Krzr. My phone didn't come with the Motorola Phone Tools or a USB cable but I got my friend to send me some songs via Bluetooth. I now have the songs on my phone and can listen to them using the MP3 player but I can't apply them as my ringtone! When I look at the details of the file, it says: Forwarding Possible: Yes Apply Possible: No My question: is there any way to change that just using my phone? Or do I need to go out and buy a USB cable and MPT? Sat, May. 17th, 2008, 12:52 pm

Does anyone here have this phone??? I really want it...but none of my friends have it and I'm a little concerned about the service/support. Otherwise 65/mo. for unlimited service and 300 min (I;m more of a texter so only 300 should be fine) sounds like too good a deal to pass up.

intervigilum: Searching for reviews about a certain phone...

I'm in the market for a new phone, and I'm trying to find some honest reviews about a particular phone. If anyone out there has this phone or knows anyone who has it, or even knows where to find a good review for it, let me know! The phone I was looking at is the Kyocera Lingo (the kind of ugly beast that flips open and has a full qwerty on the inside). I have Cricket service, so my choice of phones is pretty limited. The Lingo looks like the best phone for my money at this point in time, but I just can't find any reviews on the frickin' thing! Help is appreciated!
