Welcome ♪

This is a weekly icon test for Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch (PURE). There was

mermaidicontest but it appears as if that place has already died. Therefore, I have created

mmppp_awards as a hope of reviving what

mermaidicontest could have been.

Rules ♪

01.) You must be a member of this community to be involved in anything such as submitting and voting.
02.) All submissions must be related to Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch (PURE).
03.) Submissions must be compatible with LiveJournal. [100x100 and less that 40kb]
04.) You may only submit one icon unless the moderators have said otherwise.
05.) Do not advertise your icon anywhere, for example, uploading it onto LiveJournal, or showing a friend that has the ability to vote. Doing this is completely unfair to the other members.
06.) You may not vote for your own icons or ask friends to vote for you.
07.) Do not take someone else’s icon and claim it as your own.
08.) Do not criticize icons. Icon makers put time and effort into their work. However, constructive critism is okay.
09.) Do not use fanart.
10.) Only moderators and banner makers are given posting access.

The moderators reserve the right to disqualify any submissions that have broken the rules.

Submitting ♪

The week’s new theme will be posted every Friday, along with the submission post. Submissions will be due every following Friday at around 4:00 PM or 6:00 PM Pacific Time. We will do our best to include everyone, but once the voting has been posted, then you are too late and we're terribly sorry...

Please use this format when commenting the submission post for the week:

Voting and the Results ♪

Voting will commence once the voting has been posted around 4:00 PM or 6:00 PM Pacific Time on Friday.

Please do not vote for the same icon twice and vote using the following format:

First : Icon #3
Second : Icon #1
Third : Icon #2
Special Catagory : Icon #1

Each icon voted first place will be given three points, each second place will be given two points and each third place will be given one point.

Voting will cease at 4:00 PM or 6:00 PM Pacific Time on Sunday.
The results will be posted as soon as possible after that.
Some time after the results, when the banner makers have the time, the banners will be posted.
