AboutHey all! This is yer Community Owner/Moderator/Maintainer here. My name is Jessie and I'm here to help! This is an LJ community for My Little Pony icons! We also accept My Little Pony related Friend's Only banners, colorbars, and mood themes. Oh, and blinkies! ^__^ All are welcome here, whether you make icons or are like me, who is just here to gain some! Yes, I started a community for icons, but I don't make them. Kinda sad, neh? As such, all requests are allowed! Anyways, I do have a few rules, I apologize, but they need to be here:
1. NO FLAMING OR INSULTS! This community is welcome to anyone. Race, gender, sexual orientation: if you have a problem with someone because of these things, DO NOT discuss it in the community. As much as I would like to be mentioned on the LJDrama site (don't we all? ~_^) I rather it not for these reasons.
2. Spammage and community pluggage ARE ALLOWED, but if it's non-MLP related please run it by me first! I'm pretty much okay with it, like if you want to plug...say...a group for redheaded chicks. Sure, why not? We prolly have a few....I'm not one of them, but I'll allow it if you ask me nicely. If you're plugging an auction, it depends on the content. Both these things I'll most likely allow, but you MUST SHOW ME WHAT YOU ARE PLUGGING FIRST IF IT'S NOT MY LITTLE PONY RELATED. Please respect this, otherwise I will change this rule to ban all off-topic posts.
3.Netspeak: Please, please, PLEASE try and type coherently. I understand a few variations on words. But typing u, lyke, dis, and such is kinda hard on the eyes, don't you think?
4. Cursing is allowed. Just try not to be mean about it. As in: DON'T CURSE AT OTHER PEOPLE! @__@
5a. Be nice! Credit when asked, don't steal icons, don't be mean to someone if you don't like an icon! Requests ARE allowed, just don't be miffed if no one does it for you.
5b. Credit is also required for pictures used in the icons (ie: the sites you took them from). Due to keep this comm running smoothly UNLESS YOU DREW THE FANART OR HAVE THE EXPRESS PERMISSION OF THE ARTIST IT IS OFF LIMITS! Also, if an icon made was a request, the ability to use it if you're not the person who commissioned it is up to it's creator.
6.NOTHING can be deleted WITHOUT my permission. Unless you accidently post something in this community that was meant for another, which does happen. But if someone has an issue with something posted, please bring it to me. You can comment about it, too, if you're polite. But I would like to see what goes on in my own community! ~_^
7.All icons must be posted in the community. No "fake LJ cuts" (links to another LJ page that resembles a cut), no three teaser icons then a link to your Friend's Only icon journal with a nice little banner saying "The rest can be found here.", and no open in a new page for more icons. If you have a smeggy comp like mine this messes with it. Also it's kinda rude. I'm not saying you can't promote your icon journal, just don't do it by these means. Put all the MLP related icons in the post and then you may link to your journal using the banner or icon.
8.LJ cuts-Please use your own discretion with a cut. I won't really have a limit on how many icons can go outside a cut. It causes too many issues.
