In what I will always think as an amazing gift for my mom (because she's just about the only one I can talk to about this in real life, and she loves it almost as much as I do):
BONES STARTS TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!
SEPTEMBER 3, BABY!!! Oh yes. I cannot express how excited I am for this. I know last season ended on the biggest downer possible, but this is my happy show! I expect to adjust accordingly, and continue enjoying everybody's general wonderfulness. I miss it so much, and I am so happy I am getting it back in less than 24 hours, OMG. :) YAY, BONES!!!!!
In other premiere news, I have successfully downloaded Prison Break 4x01 and 4x02 (yes, I am begrudgingly returning to my ex-boyfriend Michael Scofield, because !!!!! and hopefully it will be awesome) and Gossip Girl 2x01. I have watched neither of them. Not because I'm busy - it's actually my Bum Week because my string of exams mysteriously ended last Friday and will not pick back up until at least the last week of September. I have not watched any of these three episodes because...
LOOK AT MY ICON! It's new! I've been busy icon- and mood theme-shopping BECAUSE I FINALLY HAVE A PAID ACCOUNT AGAIN! \:D/ A wonderful person bought $42 worth of boots from Michi and I, and I have reaped the benefits. ONE YEAR OF 30 USERPICS (I wanted to get the extra 70, but I can't splurge that much yet), NEW MOODTHEMES, AWESOME LAYOUTS AND A FASTER LJ CONNECTION! Yay. :D Obviously this is a more important endeavor than watching a couple of as-yet-unimportant season premieres. (Sorry Gossip Girl, I don't love you that much. I probably never will. Oops.)
So, yay! Happy news all around. :D I told you September was going to be awesome. ;)

HELL YES, RACHEL AND RYAN!!!!!!! OHMYGOD, YOU GUYS. I can't tell you how happy this makes me. FINALLY, TOGETHER AGAIN. :D
I had a pretty awesome Friday -- a light load of school work and then a heavy dose of PMHS lovin' the entire afternoon through the early morning hours. Good times. Then Clar and I spent a long time just talking about the past, present and future (LOL, we talked about so many things) when we got to her house. We actually saw bits of sunlight streaming through her window, and forced ourselves to sleep at 5:30. :P Take note: we weren't even close to done by that time. And then I met Michi in Trinoma and we watched Wall-E! I squealed and clapped and grinned like a little kid from the short animation at the beginning, all the way to the awesome credits. I loved everything about it. I also cried and cried and cried -- I hoped Michi wouldn't notice, but I think she did! Haha. I was so freaking emotional through the whole thing, at one point I was crying just because of how beautiful all of it was. Ugh, Pixar. Please never ever ever stop making movies.
Bottom line: Wall-E was awesome x infinity. (I've just started crying again, stupid movie reviews. Sniff.)
AND THEN I GET HOME TO THIS, OMG. BEST NEWS OF THE YEAR. I CAN'T EVEN HANDLE IT. THEY SHOULD JUST STAY TOGETHER FOREVER AND BE HAPPY FOR ALL ETERNITY. YES? YES. AWESOME X INFINITY SQUARED!
So many awesome stuff! It is going to be a lovely weekend. :)

Belated happy FOURTH LJ-versary to my beloved oatmeal_cookie! :D
I can't believe I've been on LJ for only four years. I feel like it's been longer than that -- so many things have happened to me from the very first time I posted, through the end of high school, beginning of college, and until now, jumping right through to med school. Sigh. This journal has been with me through literally everything that's happened -- what I've thought and felt and cried and laughed and fangirl-ed over. From my silly teenager-y ramblings, to well-documented LJ-able days, to semi-coherent and trying-to-be-profound ponderings, to my many bouts of fangirl explosions, to hopefully more coherent and put-together thoughts about life and love and the study of medicine.
Michi keeps telling me to start using a personal site for my blog entries, but I don't have the heart to leave this LJ just yet. I'm all kinds of a packrat, and I cling to anything and everything that holds any sort of sentimental value to me, and this LJ is one of those things. I've had multiple bouts of laziness and apathy when it comes to posting and telling stories, but I could never ignore my friends list and I can never completely quit following my communities. It's a big part of my real and online life, and though I'll probably laugh about my LJ obsession a few years from now, I can't imagine not having it to go to all the time.
Mad props to the awesome communities I'm part of; hugs to all my LJ friends - old and new, in real life and not; a big wave "hello" and "thank you" to everyone who has ever read any of my entries. Here's to four years and four days so far, and who knows how many more to come. :)
