Before I get to the changes to the site, let me first say that this update marks our two year anniversary! Whoo. We've really enjoyed working on ML so far, and we have more to come, so stick around and check it out.

Another quick note is that out next update will be June 13 instead of June 15, because I'll be in the process of moving across country that day.

Okay, now the actual update! First off, the characters page has been totally revamped. Each character now has a separate page of background information and such, which you can navigate to via the regular character page. Be careful though, because all of the character pages have spoilers up through the end of book three. We've also gone through and added a separate page for each picture in the gallery with a few comments about the image and links to the chapters they illustrate if applicable. The last big change is that part one of book one has been revised, so while the main plot points of it are the same, several chapters have changed significantly. Please check it out, if you care to do so.

Other than that, it's a normal update. Since this update was already pretty big, part five of Niko's multi-part sidestory "Ancient History" will be up July 1.

Just a note, there will be no May 15 update. Niko and I are taking a one-update hiatus. Consider it our summer vacation. :) The June 1 update will be appropriately cool though. Book 4 will start, there will be some enhancements to the site, and hopefully some revisions of book 1, part 1, so make sure to check back then! Thanks for visiting!

Aughdfggh sorry for the late update, folks. One note is that Niko actually tweaked chapter 23 some, but I have not had a chance to proofread the new version yet, so you get the old version until I get around to that. The update is coming, no fear. K and I are busy with school but the chapters are ready to go and will be posted today. Feel free to gripe at me though for not having any art done for this update. K's working hard on her Master's thesis and I'm one semester away from my bachelors so things are hectic until this summer but we're doing our best to be sure there will be chapters available every update regardless.

K does the actual updating so I'm not certain when she'll be available after class to post things but they'll be up before tomorrow, certainly.

Fffff, so I'm back from my trip but I'm recovering from jet lag less quickly than I thought, and I'm more behind on update issues than I thought I was. on top of that, school starts in two days. So, you have my most fervent apologies, but I'm going to have to skip the second January update of the site.

On the bright side, I won't be totally skipping it, I'll be doubling the February 1 update. So the schedule won't be thrown off and during the shortest month of the year, you'll get half again as much ML as you normally would. Hopefully this is an acceptable consolation prize.

Sorry again, everyone. Life kicked my ass this week. :\

Ah, what a way to start off the new year: late. Apologies for the late and small update. December was unexpectedly busy, and January is going to be as well. Unfortunately, the next update will be several days late, as I'll be out of the country until 1/17. It will be up no later than 1/18 though, and we'll for sure have that promised extra for you at that time. Thanks for visiting!

The chapters are written so it'll just be a matter of getting the html up. K's in charge of that though so I can't really say what time today to expect that but I'm certain we'll make the update sometime today. Maybe not the extra though because we've both been busy on other things but in light of this mind slip I'll get right on it and see if I can't make the update after all.

In the meantime, why not read Katekyo Hitman Reborn!? It's an awesome manga and the largest excuse for us not being on ball this update.

Happy Halloween (or happy Kalyphtian, I guess)! This year's Halloween picture is below the cut. Like last year it is also anime themed, but of a totally different flavor. Plus, I used my only horror movie icon JUST FOR YOU GUYS. :D
