.mixxtaped is a place to wax nostalgic about mixtapes and vinyl, to discuss music of any sorts and flavors, and share the mixes you've made. If you've always felt more at home in tight little buy&sell record shops than huge department stores, if all your CDs sound way too sterile and you miss the static from your tapedeck...this is the place for you.



Each month there are different challenges and games all centered around music and mixtapes. To learn more about these, check the memories. If you think of it, tag your post with pertinent artist and title info.



Posts must be related to music, but can be as far from the topic as you want, as long as there's some sort of frayed piece of twine tying the two together. Case in point, we once had a post discussing comedy albums - that's perfectly allowed. If you have a memory attached to a song, and you want to let people know how excellent that memory is, that's fine too. If you find yourself having a particular music-centric nerd moment, and you want to share in a place where we've all done it, go ahead. Or - well, you get the idea.



The maintainer(s) of this community expect(s) the member(s) to keep any shared files for 24 hours, per the RIAA, for previewing purposes solely. After 24 hours the file(s) shall be deleted. Additionally, the maintainer(s) is/are not responsible for any member(s) not complying with this guideline.
