"Persistence of Memory"

Darien frowned and fought back the urge to snap at the meatball-head and her friends, who were chattering away happily—and loudly—in the booth behind him.

He’d had another dream about her, realer than ever. She was crying in the moonlight and it hurt his heart to see the sadness on her face. She’d been just within reach before he’d woken up but this time Darien was sure he could remember what he’d forgotten about her if he could just concentrate.

A loud guffaw from Serena assaulted his ears and Darien stood to leave. He’d try to remember later.

Ha ha y'all have to put up with my crappy new sketches for MiR...

Erm, yeah, it's a touch obvious I'm not used to a tablet yet. Definitely doesn't draw like actual pencil - it's nearly frictionless, for example. But I'm catching on. ^_^ Hopefully in a few weeks I will produce something I don't have to be embarrassed about.

I'm starting to think that Jai-chan needs to pony up some new MiR to compensate for this new fanart, ne? NE???
