Hey guys. First I want to apologize for not taking care of this community the way that I should have. I didn't mean to slack so much but my life has gotten very busy and I don't have the time or tools for icon making or hosting an icontest (I had to change computers and all my caps are on my other computer).

However, I would like to say that I have found very capable new mods in thiscanbegin and siriusly_sex. They took over one of my other communities, greg_stillness and have done a very good job running it. So hopefully it will hold true that this community will be given the attention it deserves.

It's been fun, and I want to thank all of you for your participation so far and I hope you all continue to participate in the future.

This challenge is a special nod to the CSI episode "You Kill Me" (8.08). There are two caps per Lab Rat. Since there are so many, you're allowed to make up to seven icons for this challenge. And remember there's no animations and no blending of two pics together.

Originally I was going to do the challenge tomorrow and just keep doing this by myself, but computer issues and time issues are going to make it hard to gather up caps for each challenge. So! I have taken on a co-mod, thiscanbegin. She already helps co-mod greg_stillness (one of my old communities) and miami_menstills. I encourage you guys to also enter at those communities.

The special challenge will go up on challenge #16 while I fish around for caps of multiple CSI minor characters. For now, this challenge. Entries are due October 12th. So, from the comments to yesterday's winners post, everyone seemed to agree that Sofia should be considered a minor character even though she's a regular. So from now on, Sofia icons are okayed for submission.

This batch of icons is due September 7th since the contest has gone bi-weekly. Remember, no animations and no blending/using two different images in one icon.

Sorry about the next challenge not being up; I have some RL issues, so it will be up Monday evening or at some point on Tuesday. It's biweekly now, so there will be plenty of time to enter. And there wasn't supposed to be a Most Unique category here, but I goofed so it'll go up this round.

Also, even though Adam Ross is being moved up to series regular on CSI: NY next season, he'll still be an accepted minor character here. I'm also considering having Sofia Curtis being allowed here since she's not on CSI episodes very much. Please give me your opinion in the comments.
