I hate it when stores say there is a required min purchase to use a credit card. How do you report them? I wonder if they would say the same thing if I tried to use my American Express Gift card.

This one was particularly interesting. The employee who refused my card -- apparently a manager -- said that the minimum was "store policy" (understandable if misguided), and then said that "the store can do anything it wants"! When I said I'd report him to Visa, he said "go ahead and report me". Okaaaay...

N.B.: I haven't verified this one in person -- I've been to this restaurant, but paid in cash -- but they mention the minimum on their website! (And by the way, they have the best Belgian-style "French" fries that I've had anywhere -- including Belgium.)
