AboutWelcome to the Livejournal Miniatures Painting community. We post here about the miniatures hobby. Painting, converting, collecting, you name it. I wouldn't mind seeing some discussion of terrain or sculpting/building, either.

I'd like the community to obey a few simple rules to keep things pleasant and easy to read:
- Keep it civil! Comments and posts both.
- Images - Please keep images on-topic. Acceptable subjects would be painted and unpainted miniatures, terrain, equipment, or even you showing off your shiny new Golden Demon. Also, please put all images behind cut tags, and warn of any non-work friendly subject matter.
- Army Lists - Ever miniatures community I've ever seen ends up with army lists and proposals. War games and miniatures are just too tightly bound up. I think that's fine, but please LJ-CUT those entries
- "Spam" - If you want to pass on links to other communities, stores, or events that are related to the subject, that's fine. Please make sure they are directly related to miniatures and miniatures painting; Other hobbies that lots of mini-painters are into just aren't on topic.
- Links - Keep your links neat. URLs for EBay auctions, catalog entries and online photo albums are usually hellishly long and full of statistical characters. Please use <a> tags to give your links a readable name, like this: <a href="http://www.yoururlhere.com/yourpic.jpg">Click here to see my newest creation!</a>
