Fear Ninja Duckie! It never fails. Every year I go to the Japanese Festival, and every year I find something so silly that I have to buy it. Ninja Duckie was this year's must-have item. La Shelberina informs me that I got the last black one. I win! |

I somewhat recall talking to sakon76 a looong time ago about wishing for a fic somewhat like this, in a different media universe. Highly recommended, if you're into Torchwood/New Who, and/or DiscWorld. (At the least, to read and enjoy, you should have some idea of who Captain Jack Harkness is and who Death is) Possibly enjoyable even if you don't. "Death and the Definitely-Not-A-Maiden"Yeah, there's Death in this story. And death, too. It's well worth the read. Current Mood: impressed |

A bit of Friday silliness born from boredom The news channels are all abuzz, still awaiting word on which Jellicle cat will ascend to the Heavyside Layer. There's been no word yet from the Russell Hotel, though apparently a large contingent of female Jellicles are threatening to take serious action should Rum Tum Tugger be selected.
In other news, Old Deuteronomy can't quite remember just how many wives he's buried... |
