Heroes News: San Diego Comic Con 2008

HEROES fans...listen up! 

The third season opener of the NBC series will reportedly be making its debut during Comic Con 2008.

The con has been a popular venue for the show for the last two years. Last years' HEROES panel was overflowing with fans trying to catch a glimpse of the cast! 

After a somewhat disappointing second season, the showrunners plan to release goodies over the summer to convince the fans they are back and better than ever. 

''We have to show our wares,'' says exec producer Tim Kring, ''If getting buzz means spoiling some things, I'll take buzz any day.''  

Although it's not set in stone, Kring hopes to screen the Sept. 22 season premiere of HEROES at San Diego Comic Con 2008 in July.

On the one hand: awesome. I think it's a great strategy - if the episode bombs, there'll be time for editors to work their magic in post-production and make some necessary adjustments before national airdate. It's also a great treat for the fans in attendance, who no doubt love the show. Win-win.

On the other hand: spoilers are going to be so hard to avoid. D:

Yrsh its good cause they can rework it and make it better, its alot better that way for the show.

We'll just have to hide from the internet to stay away from spoilers, Lol

Heh. The internet is going to explode. "We'll"? Speak for yourself. I'll be there! :D But I won't spoil....I wonder if they'll tell us that we can't.

I want to know every last gritty detail. Heroes isn't a suspenseful show anyways. *snickers* I want video, pictures, details details. I hope you can get in Jen. Do you know Erin from the DSC? Lucky girl is going out there...w/o me. :^( It's going to be a ZOO for sure! Bring your pepper spray.

It is pretty suspenseful. There are some moments. *L* I'll see. If they make us promise, I won't, though.

Oh! No pepper spray. People are okay. I'm just getting to the line party at 4AM! LOL
