Hi all. I'm Lynne and I'm bringing in Wonder Woman (or rather I have already brought in Wonder Woman) just post-Infinite Crisis and I will probably be keeping her in her mysterious year of absence for a while until I get her settled in.
If there's stuff I (and she) should know about your character and you would like to remind me of it, feel free.
I look forward to seeing how she fits in Milliways and with all the varying DCU 'verses we've got here.

Kati here. Ex-mun of Arthur Curry.
Just wanted to introduce my two newest pups. Both are from Smallville, but I try to incorporate generally known comic canon where I can.
The first is Kara Zor-El, whose journal I'm using. She's set right now near the beginning of S7, but will be running through some of her canon soon.
The second is Martha Kent, who comes in about the same point in canon as Clark.
I can be pinged at frenetic ennui, or here, for plottage/thread stuff. |

Does anyone have a problem with Dinah watching Batman Forever? (Other than it being rubbish, of course) I figured as Batman the iconic figure isn't exactly a secret in the bar, it wouldn't be too much of an issue, but you all get a veto if you want.

Oh. My. God, fastest bar approval ever. And I mean ever.
ANYWAY. I have a Dinah! (A DINAH, OMG!) and I'm going to be bringing her in aged 15. As the daughter of Black Canary. Because I've never really taken someone through canon and I think it might be fun.
(See me in a month's time bringing her in post-Sin because I got bored)
And yes, this means I'm playing a character pre-CoTE. But I'm playing her with the post-Crisis continuity because no way in hell am I dealing with the dimension hopping mind-transferance memory-wipe is-her-own-daughter mess that is Dinah's pre-Crisis history. This is the daughter of Larry and Dinah Lance, the adopted neice of the entire Justice Society and so on and so on.
And constructing a posr-crisis timeline for pre-Crisis events is HARD. Especially if you're as canon-ignorant as me.So I've pieced together my intentions in a post in Dinah's journal here. If anyone has any problems or thoughts, then please share, I'm scared of messing up.
More important for everyong else though: OOMS. I'm probably going to be bothering all you guys (and a couple of people with retired DCU characters or headvoices I know they have) for OOMs at some point or other, because I know you all want to play very young versions of your characters, in more innocent times, right?
And if anyone wants a Dinah for an OOMs in their own timeline, then I'm more than happy to do so.<3

| Babs abuses the space-time continuum |

This post serves two purposes!
First, and simply, I like Babs. I like Babs no matter where in canon she is. If you've got a pup from Babs' future (that's most of the DC pups these days) and you want to have an OOM with a Babs current to that pup, let me know and we'll totally do it! If you have a plot that involves future-Babs? Please, give me the chance to play with her!
Second... I am pondering plotty stuff. Like, weird time-bending plotty stuff. Babs is, as we know, a bit of a control freak and an organizer. I am... pondering having her try to contact her future self for cross-time-stream control and organization. I'm not sure how this would work or anything, and I'm not sure if it would even happen. I am looking for some feedback. Does this seem like a good idea? Fun, interesting, horrifying, boring? Chime in!

So. The community here has been quiet. And, you know, that's okay. But it's going to have to change. This is because I demand that it change!
There's now a Barbara Gordon in the bar. Add that to Stephanie Brown and the (hopeful) return to regular posting of Dick (*snicker*) Grayson and you've got solid core. Now Dick-mun (*snicker*) and I have been talking and we're planning on synchronizing canon between our two pups to somewhere in the mid to late nineties of their respective runs and actually running through canon.
Now, there's no reason that anyone else out there would have to join us, but I certainly wanted to put it out there as an option. Regardless of canon stuff, I'd really like to see a revitalization of the DC pups in the bar. They're fun (that's why we apped them, right?), and they deserve to be showcased.
So if you've got plot ideas, I want to hear them. Heck, if you're still alive, I want to hear from you. Sometimes it's hard to keep track of who's still being played and who's long gone. Let's start with a head count then, shall we?

So, some of us have gone through IC. Some haven't. I don't know who has, really, I'm out of the loop a bit. :(
Anyway, the Titans are looking to go through Infinite Crisis sometime in June, and I'm kicking all my characters through it at the same time. Dick, mr. new blue beetle, Kon, etc.
Some OOMs are being put together to tell this story out, so I figured - it'd be nice and interesting to get other people in on this, instead of just the Titans. So here's my deal - is anyone willing to go through this with us? RP out some OOMs, work some things out?
It'd be fun, I swear! :D

Okay, some questions have come up. As all fo you probbably know, we talked about it, and Tim is now Magical Advisor for the Justice Leauge. Which makes him all woobly. The only problem it brings up is who is the current justice leauge roster? Martian Manhunter of course, and both Kon-El and Bart have advanced to fill the shoes of thier mentors, but who else should we have on it? |

| Identity Crisis Plot. |

Mandy ( Kon, Dick ) and I will be starting the Identity Crisis arc later this week in correspondence with Kon's disappearance act. The weekend included in the IC arc will be this weekend, if that gives you any idea of the pace.

First post! Anyways. I have had an Idea.It is, i think, a good idea, but it's gonna need a lot of work.
Background: Tim Hunter's magic created thousands of worlds based loosely on his own. As such, a large portion of his magic is stuck in his worlds. Recently, he freed quite a bit of it on his six year trip across his worlds, destroying them and regaining his magic. Heres where the downside comes in. One of these alternate world Tims gained awareness of his unreality, and proceded to make his way through the worlds, killing the Tims within and absorbing thier magic. He is known as the Other, and is quite evil and/or insane.
In normal canon, without Milliways interaction, Tim reclaimed his magic, bringing the Other to his world. He then stored the majority of his magic ina receptacle, and created another him to hold the remaing bit and be a convincing real Tim for the Other to Kill. Lots of stuff happened, the Other opened all the doors to the various realms of the DCU, from the dreaming, to faerie, up to heaven and down to hell. He caused a lot of havoc, until Tim came back with the Wild Hunt, blah de blah, got himself back.
Now, thanks to Milliways, that can't quite happen. Cause, one, Tim spent six years longer at things. Two? Tim actually knows what he's doing. And three, the Other is probably a helluva lot stronger then he wus in original Canon, having had more time to go after worlds.
So herein lies my idea. Thanks to the power of Milliways, Tim has the ability to warn various factions of everyone about the Other coming before he does. All he has to do is after the plot occurs, tell people about it and temporal paradox type stuff, Bill and Ted style, they actually show up before he does it.
MilliTim is from 2011, so the versions of chars would bof course be aged apprpriately.
What I'm getting at is i have this awesoem image in my head of When the Other begins causing shit looking for Tim, the heros show up, led by whomever is from Milliways. The odl, the young, whoever is still around. And, of course, with the Other probably more powerful then Tim, thats gonna go badly. But, to add insult to injury, the Other decides to break down all the doors to the variosu realms to fuck up the heros even more. And there, waiting for him, are the gathered armies of the various realms, ready and waiting to ride out against him, to aide the heros. Which they do. And it ends, the Other beaten and drawn dragged before Tim, and...inhaled.
Thoughts?
Oh, if ti helps, the Other will have his own Army of bent People to aide him. |
