A Pathetically Belated Millichannel Summary for Monday, June 13, 2005. [Jun. 21st, 2005|02:15 am]

[info]iwasalevel6
Morning is summarized by your lazy neighborhood [info]iwasalevel6:

Morning Happenings
For some inexplicable reason, neither Michael Knight nor Peter Venkman find dinosaurs as fascinating as Ray.
April and Mel talk about evil flies, wishes and adapting. (by [info]the_damsel) Andrew talks to Ray about dinosaurs, Goonies and the vaunted profession of acting. He then does a very poor job of avoiding talking to Mel, and much awkwardness ensues. Later, he discusses the benefits of therapy with Michelle and running away from your problems with a distraught Penny. (by [info]in_it
Peter and Michelle talk as Michelle relates her troubles while Venkman listens. (by [info]doc_venkman)
Asar-Suti wakes Sara up and discusses Gil's transformation with her. She in turn discusses what she's planning on researching and is mildly freaked by what his offer of assistance entailed. Ace also wakes Sara for girl talk. (by [info]lvpd_sidle
Chase sets a date for a memory wipe with Nita.
Seeds of discontent begin to sprout as Tony has lunch with Michelle. (and the muns weep for their OTP)
Vago apologizes to Ace.
Jason gets teased by Archie, who he in turn embarasses by teaching him about strippers. Currently in slowtime. Max comes by to tease and wish a happy birthday. They are cute to each other and he runs off to get her a drink, when he runs into Gabriel. (see Garbiel thread) Fight ensues, both are now in cells. (by [info]loyaltyinmotion
Mikey and Stampy wreak havoc on the bar. Or are just silly in general.
Faith in the rafters! She speaks to Elaine, Connor, Anya and Ace.
Hagrid plays with Stampy and catches up with Elaine.
Hagrid shares Ray's strange interest in pets that could eat their owners. It's his canon.
Asar-suti introduces Atreyu to ice cream and Millichange; with Guppy, he eats melon and hexes Mitzi (by [info]asar_suti) Guppy is having Mitzi issues Violet's birthday is greeted with not much enthusiasm on the birthday girl's part.
Brian tries to lift Rachel's bad mood with schmoop.
Mercutio and Guppy play cards. Meg meets Stampy, and talks to Angel and Angelina.
Charlie and Suti talk about Purgatory, their respective lovers, and other acquaintances; later, he tells Brian Gamble about Seth.

Pleased to Meetchya
April O'Neil and Ray.
April O'Niel and Peter Venkman.
Mel and Anya.
Sharpe and Stephanie Brown.
Smeagol and Tahiri.
Asmodean and Wesley Dodds.
Hagrid and Foaly.
Asmodean and Max.

Evening by [info]2woolongdatadog:

The Bar and Environs:

In no particular order because GODDESS, this evening resembled driving through South Carolina in the dark - never ending! *grin*

Baldric posts a substantial menu.

[info]gone_byebye introduces [info]nonookie4u to hotter peppers.

[info]nitro_is_ace, a busy young woman, self-summarises [confetti!]: "Ace has had a rather nasty sort of afternoon, and comes back to the bar with no memory of Milliways. Wash meets her, and talks her down probably all that experience with River). He gives her cocoa, and manages to get her to leave the door for a bit and sit at the table like a good savage. (Finished, with Wash being the uber-teddybear we all know he is) Claire meets Ace as well, and is distressed when Ace shows no signs of remembering her. She tries to logic out what could have happened, and hits pretty close to the mark, even if Ace doesn't remember a thing. (Finished, with fleeing) It's all very breaky.)"

[info]creator_raven blessedly offers a summary on his Entrance: "Raven talks to Jack in the Green, with discussion of their first people, and the relative value of change. Raven also talks to Tim, is introduced to Milliways rules, and learns a tiny tiny smidgen of Tim's story." Later on, he gives a not-unpleasant shock to [info]undewater_owl.

[info]forsaken_bard 'Zillas with [info]green_shaft, [info]creator_raven, [info]iris_attitude and [info]true_desire.

[info]henry_jones_jr and [info]mnt_mike bartend for the evening, and summarise their 'Zilla Rex here.

[info]not_a_surgeon spawns a 'Zilla Rex with ambitions of 'Zilla Imperator with [info]still_michael. It all seems to involve cars and dinosaur babies and guys. (To be summarised later -- thanks! :) )

Lysistrata sings. She also summarises and links: "Strata and Caspian talk. She gets jealous over Ivy, says some mean things, takes them back, then begins bawling and heads to her room, where the thread continues here."

[info]anthy_rosebride, [info]la_calice, [info]witchy_rebel -- memories and witches.

[info]locked_holmes limps into the bar, but with enough fortitude to offer the following summary: "Holmes meets Connor and they commiserate about the Landlord's or Bar's or whoever's sadistic sense of timing. Then they talk about justice and try to talk about turn of the century London. Next, the Joker tries unsuccessfully to ruffle Holmes, who is nevertheless sekritly so disturbed by him. Holmes and Random then talk about the pains of paperwork and Holmes' invented profession. Lastly, Nita approaches and offers to heal Holmes' strained ankle; he accepts warily, and is treated to a first physical demonstration of omg MAGIC (SLOWTIMED)."

[info]gonna_live, [info]key_youth_bert, [info]anthy_rosebride. Hypnosis and... 'River is WHAT?'

[info]witchy_rebel has a neatly-summarised set of conversations: "Tim comes over, and he and Morgan have a very, very careful conversation before he runs off to Ace. Yrael plays music of spring and life, to which the witch-girl dances perfectly in time and image before Yrael calls her friend. Puck interupts her view of the dying stars for silliness that involves them both shape-shifting before he realizes who she is. This doesn't stop the foxybonding, though."

[info]sai_delgado is involved in what's at least a 'Zilla Dux, thoroughly summarised. Thankee-sai! "Desire appears, bringing chocolate, and asks Susan about the gunslingers, particularly Cuthbert (slowtimed); Kaylee shows up and there is laughter, enchanted-broom riding, talk of flying and angels and demons, and then a turn into very serious conversation about the 'verse ending and the plan to deal with the Academy; Caspian and Susan chat for a bit, and then his son shows up-- but doesn't recognize him, for great woe, and Susan attempts to comfort and help (slowtimed); Green Arrow wanders by and is curious about her book, with the result that they introduce themselves and chat for a little; and finally, Cort returns to the bar and comes to talk to Susan-- in which he explains how he happens to know some things, and then asks her some rather pointed questions, after which he returns to Gilead on a pretty summer morning, which Susan witnesses through the door."

Ako is in on the Bar.

[info]aj_crawley wanders in (and from London, no less) minus one jacket, and with his shirtsleeves rolled up, bringing summer with him. [info]platonicowgirl and [info]howdy_howdy get significant news from their son, [info]the_woodpecker and [info]clumsy_auror, aided and abetted by the demon in question. There's rumours of a sheep costume.... Also, [info]mad_martin the Muggle. Later on, he 'Zillas with the usual suspects, plus a few: [info]creator_raven (who has been a busy Entity tonight, hasn't he?), [info]maid_of_astolat, [info]a_fell (of course), and [info]the_woodpecker + [info]clumsy_auror. Scarlessness is noticed.

There's an angel in the bar...

[info]smart_sam is deeply depressed.

[info]collects_ears serves the specials to [info]mollyprewett, [info]timsbooks, [info]henry_jones_jr, [info]creator_raven, [info]thelastearthman and [info]spooky_shrink (Dr. Malcolm Crowe's demi-Entrance).

[info]giftedthom Plots in a mildly Zilla-ish fashion.

[info]gris_bug_man is made to blush by [info]jack_inthegreen.

A very pregnant [info]ex_last_scion makes up with [info]simple_creature. Their conversation also produces the following exchange:
"I wasn't sure. I mean, Jay and Bob seemed....really close."
"Hetero Lifemates. Bob is straight. Jay is...something else."
"Hetero--you know what? Forget it. They are their own species."
[info]el_vago gets pounced by Yrael (who's working the room) for scritch-duty.

Vampirey stuffs: DCverse:
Narnia:Lost-verse:
  • [info]sendpeanutbtr does astrology and a summary for her 'Zilla: "Claire and Jack talk about love and how it can change people. Also, he answers a very important question for her. Then, she and Jaina get on one of their destiny versus choice discussions and talk until they completely swap opinions. I think." Later on, she 'Zillas some more, saying: "Claire and Sawyer talk about destiny. Somewhere in there is a test and a choice made. It's not easy being the girlfriend of a confidence man. And Claire bonds with Boone over his feelings for Shannon."

  • [info]confidence_man 'Zillas and also self-summarisesyay!): "Sawyer meets Logan and teaches him it is unwise to play poker with a con man; Jaina may be more threateningdespite her shortness) than Palpatine sometimes... and she's evil when you're trying to build a house of cards."
Potterverse/Endless:
  • [info]kabeleced discusses with [info]true_desire, his upcoming wedding. How... circular.

  • The second sexiest wizard in the Potterverse *innocent look* kindly summarises his 'Zilla: "Bill meets and flirts with Lady Ako before he he remembers the temper of his favourite quarter-Veela; catches up on Ron's latest round of woesslowtimed); and discusses OWLs, 17-year-old Mum, and Percy's appearance at the bar with Ginny."
24-ish: Star Wars:Amber:Veronica Mars:Dark Angel: TDIR:
  • [info]merriman_lyon self-summarises like a true gentleman: "Merriman meets Raven, and learns how remarkably similar -- and yet different -- the two of them happen to be. He also meets Kaylee, and gives her both a piece of antique jade and a few things to think about, for later on. Ako also stops by to play with his hair and tease him a bit."

[info]nepheliad
Millichannel for Sunday, 19th June:

Morning, by [info]not_that_spike

In the Bar:
* Suti leaves many notes.
* Angua's bored; Shelley distracts obligingly.
*Roland and Jake: Fucking Milliways.
* Susan and Kitty talk about their respective worlds' view of mutations, then go for a walk in the air, and finally discuss Derry and discover something they have in common; Susan has a brief conversation with Anthy about horses and riding; and Desire shares fruit, and they talk about children-- Derry and Meg and children in general. It's possibly worth noting that Desire seems fairly interested in this conversation... (slowtimed).
* Unrelated to anything else in the Potter world, Vernon Dursley flirts with Desire. The mind boggles.

Plot Points:
*Guppy leaves.

Potter Things:
* It's the day of the Hogsmeade Quidditch match; Bernard waits anxiously for word on Tonks. He's joined by Ophelia, Tom Riddle, Fleur, Roland, Raph, Bigby, and Hagrid, all of whom try to reassure him in some way. Establishes lots of setup presence for later-in-the-day goings-on.

Outside:
* Faith visits Crowley's grave.
* Sara takes Sooty swimming.
* Mace Windu and Sarah Rainmaker have a training exercise.

Out of Milliways:
* Raguel's decision.
* Chase and Kim celebrate their last night together.

Back Room:
* Chase needs healers for upcoming plot, apply within.
* Pointer to a locked Lost post.
* iCon banner.

Afternoon, by [info]metaphor
LARGE NOTE: Rue loves every single person who self-summarized, because this is a hugely large night of Substantial DOOM and although she did read all of it, she in the thid person is still ot capable of doing the summaries herself. So she seriously wants everyone to know how amazingly wonderful they are.

Potterverse Doom:
* Attack on Hogsmeade OOM, not in the OOM section because it is the opening to the Ultimate In Doom.
* Letter of DOOM, from Dumbledore to Bernard.
* The in-bar aftermath of all the Doom.
* Tom and Door, pre-Doom, are almost too calm.
* The Match Was Bullshit: Bernard contributes further DoomLetters.
* Enter the double agent: Snape has a role in all this Doom.

Actually Not Doom:
* Meg and Adam talk about... books. and empty ice boxes. and throwing chamber pots on people's heads.
* Hungry? Famine speaks to Meg and to Anthy. With whitetext. And ... an iPod. Product placement, anyone?
* Ace and Raven and Ace and Mike and there's some singing. And Raven is Raven some more.
* Vacation does a body good. Kitty and Diane know it.
* Inyri and Wes are not boring.
* Inyri also meets Ben Hawkins.
* Castle has a conversation with a too-perceptive Grissom.
* Much in the way of Susan Delgado: Susan and Kitty talk about their respective worlds' view of mutations, then go for a walk in the air, and finally discuss Derry and discover something they have in common; Susan has a brief conversation with Anthy about horses and riding; and Desire shares fruit, and they talk about children-- Derry and Meg and children in general. It's possibly worth noting that Desire seems fairly interested in this conversation ...
* Roland.
* Ace, Raven and Moiraine all try to get Cort to say more than three words average in a sentence.
* Archie enters with poetry! And he does more than that, ignoring doom and discussing runes and things with Ray, and also gets called Svava's Archie. Aw.
* Thank Azzy for crack ... the Triplets re-enter Milliways and promptly meet up with George Mason. They have his shoelaces. You will all fear.
* Kate meets Inyri and the two of them briefly talk about Star Wars. Boone sees Kate and stops over to ask when she arrived, leading to a comparison of Sawyer to boars. Shannon also recognizes Kate and questions her about Milliways.
* This letter from Cuthbert is entirely safe to read.
* Is he a God of Rocks? Charlie Pace is unaware of doom, and talks to Iris.
* The Shannon in the bar meets some other people! (The summarizer's brain is slowly turning to goo.)
* Faith and Snow are not doomy, but bemused.
* Iris is actually rather happy.

Various Woe:
* It wasn't supposed to be woe. The topic goes from Kitt's being rather drunk to his opinion on the possibility of Ecto's sentience (which he is rather glad that Ecto is from a different reality and the other side of the nation because, to Kitt, he and Karr are supposed to be two of a kind, and that's all), and then on to why Kitt feels that way. This is the beginning of the downslide. He decides, in his drunken state, that because he isn't as human as his brother, that it's a flaw. The why is simple: he can't give what people seem to want. This hinges on old discussions and part-arguments with PeeJee that were never easily let go of. From there the conversation drifts to Kitt's conclusion that PeeJee has left and won't be coming back, and that he never should have let the relationship develop. Things only get worse from there. Kitt spirals into a depression borne of leapt-to conclusions and his system integrity plummets - which, in human form, takes place as a stabbing headache. Only through concentration and focus does Kitt pull out of it. Michael gives him a bit more comfort, a bit more assurance, and then Kitt decides it's better he lay down. So, escorted back to room 82, Kitt and Michael decide that sooner is better, in terms of their getting back to vacation.
* Just a little angst from the Boondock twins. But not doom.
* Minor goodbye woe between Asar-Suti and Guppy and Mitzi.
* A Little Bit Woe: Behrooz meets Rochefort.
* Yrael tells Ace of the previous barman, and what happened to him.
* Tim. Guilt. Breakdown. Malcom. Woe.
* Connor is stupid inna bar. Duo is properly scoldish to said stupidity, and fixes Connor's battle wound; Kyle distracts him, and they make a deal to try to test the boundaries of the bar's door.
* River and Simon visit Crowley's grave.
* Angel is in a funk, the closest to woe he will ever get. There's Charlie too.
* Dodging a pencil Gorlim didn't mean to scare her with, Sheila eats cookies and talks time with Raven. Sheila meets Brian Gamble, and upsettingly talks death and being Bound. And the kicker ... Ash apologizes to Sheila, and she forgives him and acts just a bit motherly. And they end up almost doing a datelike thing, which is a TOTAL SHOCK.
* There is more Timguilt. Much more. And he looks like he's planning something ...
* PeeJee leaves messages for Kitt.

Raven is everywhere and is getting a subtopic, because:
* Lounging in the sun, Ace and Raven propose a contest.
* Adam and Raven talk about Adam's powers, and how to possibly get rid of built-up... tension. They make plans to work on this.
* Raven and Mitzi. He speaks flamingo.
* Raven meets Ben Hawkins, and they talk about themselves; he heals Random's ribs, and offers comfort and aid; and meets the triplets, with much potential tricking and the eating of eyeballs. Oberon of Faerie watches Raven, and gets a surprise.

By the Lake:
* Whoah, a Chocobo. It's attached to Squall, though.
* Val Wiggin-Skywalker and a Perfectly Normal Beast.

Out of Milliways:
* Chris gets closer to Jack. Warning: Slowtime with a 90% chance of smut.
* Behrooz has breaky dreams.
* A picnic by the lake.
* Ben Hawkins dreams, too.
* Tom Riddle visits Barty inna cell. The conversation starts off politely, with Tom asking Barty his feelings on knowing his future. Then it degenerates, via a discussion of Tom's unpunished use of Legilimency on Barty, into the usual mutual contempt. Tom's about to leave when Barty calls him back. He's scared of his future. He wants to create a different timeline. Tom wants Barty to change, and offers to help. They leave on improved terms.
* Faunsex! (Er, do you want an explanation?)
* Plot, break, and doom! The Firefly crew have a prophetic dream about the Beams, and what will happen if they don't choose to throw in their lot with the gunslingers.
* Two Men, a Slayer and a Baby: Mike, Indy and Mel try to get to grips with the mysteries of Endless child care, or just child care in general really. Mel doesn't seem like her usual snarky self, so Indy clears out to let the ex-turtle and slayer talk. He takes Derry to the patio, where poor Alanna is bemused. But she soon buys into the zoomy aeroplane cuteness as she gets her first real hands-on experience with a baby.
* Upstairs, Sara thinks.

Back Room:
* Guppy is un-Bound due to mun exams.
* More presents for Lost-muns from Claire-mun who has lots of time on her hands, it seems.
* The iCon banner - image heavy, careful if you're on dialup
* Anyone in-bar who can bring the dead back to life? (Don't tell the Evil Dead contigent.) Also, locked post for Losties.x
* Healers for Chase, please?
* Birthday party! Because that is of course exactly what everyone will be in the mood for.

[info]balletrat
Millichannel for Wednesday, June 15

Morning:
* Breakfast at Milliways! Self-summarized: Asar-Suti apologizes for the Hellfly, Ray and Garion discuss language and government, Wesley Dodds comes around for a cup of coffee and the two discuss 'aliens', and Stephanie Brown gets some hot chocolate and an offer of comfort, which she flees.
* Liam has done his duty like a good ex-rock star and set up a recording studio. Miki doesn't really want to record, but they hammer out a deal for piano time, and do some musical bonding on the side.
* Peter is shiny and Ghostbustery, and sharing his new situation with Michelle.
* Vago is woeful, not to mention drunk. Self-summarized: Wherein Vago and Morgan discuss marriage, Death, and Dancing. Guess who's been married.
* Morgan comes in to watch the stars die. Self-summarized: Ulfin gets glomped by Morgan before they start talking about memories and fate.
* April is twitchy after getting Raph's note. Self-summarized: April and Indy discuss Raph's disappearance and her getting a room now that she can't crash on the roof. Bar gives her room 135; Indy suggests earplugs.
* A gift from Tonks' parents! Also, the revelation of her mother's torrid affair with Remus Lupin. Who'd have guessed?
* Naraht's back! Self-summarized: Naraht, after being unBound for a good while, returns abruptly to Milliways. Meets up with Ray and discusses a possible solution for his stair-climbing difficulties.
* Waffles in the Suite, version - um, I've lost count. Self-summarized: In this week's installment of the bar's own sitcom, Mel and Delia finally cross paths and struggle with 20th Century coffee making. Indy arrives in time to educate them both, and Mike shows up to get breakfast underway. But doom is ahead as he discovers that the waffle iron is still on the fritz after Indy's disastrous attempt to cook last week...
* April writes in her diary about what a broken heart feels like. Surprisingly, it's not a very pleasant feeling.
* Sara gives Catherine the welcome speech as one CSI to another, before going straight into some nice juicy girl talk.
* Adam is reading Something Mysterious. Self-summarized: Adam and Mordred talk. Adam gets upset, Mordred takes advantage, and Adam Is Bad. Ooops.
* Dru and Morgan have crazy-girl bonding, culminating, fittingly, in advice to go see Del. Dru also chats with Venkman, who's a bit unnerved to find himself getting on so well with an insane psychic vampire.
* Kim and Chase have day-before-woe angstyschmoop.
* Michelle is Not Happy. Self-summarized: Tony tries to apologize, fails; Nina Myers tries to plant seeds of doubt; Asmodean talks music.
* Green Jack is tealess! And in possesion of a threadzilla. Self-summarized: Jack and Asar-Suti on family by choice, old loves, and plans for the Solstice party. Jack and Raven on being a forgotten god. Jack Knight is shocked Jack Green has never heard of Opal City. Jack is not, in fact, an Ent--he just looks like one. He likes Bethany's choice of name for the new last scion. And Jack and Grissom say "I love you." To each other. YAY.
* Charlie plus bebe! Self-summarized: Teddy and Seth do not discuss universal domination--they focus more on peanut butter and their silly big people instead. Charlie and Angel on Roger and stalking. Bethany comforts Charlie and warns him about Loki. Bartleby and Charlie agree they need to see Wisconsin again.
* Puck and I seem to have the same views on laziness - namely, that it is our friend. Self-summarized: Puck and Sneaky!Vetinari have knifeschmoop (yes, Amy and I are surprised, too). Raven and Puck meet and discuss the pointlessness of romance as the term applies to mortals. Mercutio and Puck snark, flirt, make out, and go upstairs; somewhere in there, it is decided that Puck is prettier than Yrael, but only by a little bit. Jack-in-the-Green sketches Puck, and the two are somewhat snippy with each other on the subjects of mortals, trees, and violence. Puck leaves in a huff. Last but not least, Atton flirts (?) with Puck, much after the fashion of a carnivorous plant. (Slowtimed).
* Nita's nightmares are not only violent, but feature GIANT REDTEXT. Eek.*
* Zeke, Bethany, and Unborn Baby Scionlet take their leave of Milliways for a while. Good luck out there, guys!
* Asmodean plays for Nina and Random. Random leaves intrigued, while Nina is . . . turned-on? Beware; the Friz is a dangerous opponent. And it is very, very wrong of me to want to see that particular deathmatch.</i>
* Tony needs a hug. Self-summarized: Tony is curt with Nina and breaks on Jaina.
* Raven does something esoteric with beads. Self-summarized: Raven meets Ray, they speak of magic, and Ray's machines, and Ray realizes that yes, this is that Raven.
* Faith is not so much with the happy, and neither is her piano. She meets Raven and explains that it's a Slayer's life for her; Cuthbert shares her woes and has mutual confession of Extreme Scariness as a Person; and Yrael and Faith are highly friendschmoopy, despite Susan being not'fond of the not'cat.
* Claire's Bartending! Self-summarized: Tony tell Claire about his fight with Jack and Michelle. She promises to talk to Michelle if she sees her around. She meets fellow Aussie Adam/Felicia/Sparkles for much yay. She and Guppy agree to forget about their hellfly grievances. She apologizes to Barry for her behavior last week and then explains her love for Sawyer. She meets Jack and Teddy and they set up plans for a picnic. She and Penny discuss the logistics of being wed to a war god and Asar-Suti comes by to apologize for not keeping a better eye on the hellfly.
* Adam meets Random, for great sharing of chocolate and cider; shares his woes with a remarkably easy to talk to Raven; and is treated to a discussion of his testicles (one human and one demon?), blowjobs, and the relative attractiveness of his housemates by Lilly, which is clearly an experience no one should go without.
* Grissom is hummingly cheerful. Self-summarized: Grissom welcomes his dear friend Catherine to Milliways. They discuss the loss of Sara for the Vegas lab, and whether or not the Bar could manage to get weirder. (Answer: Definitely) Grissom also meets Lt. Naraht for the first time, prompting a discussion on the origins of forensic science. Asar-Suti rounds out the afternoon with a discussion on popular names.
* Barry's takin' it easy, for a superhero. Self-summarized: Barry catches up with Jack Knight and talks about Jack's father, the first Starman; finally meets Tony but has no idea what to say to the grumpy CTU man; and is shocked to meet a young Wesley Dodds.
* Atton's nightmare is pretty scary even without the giant redtext.
* Shelley's drink is alcoholic and pretty; what more can you ask for? Self-summarized: Asmodean shows up and plays Music of the Night (which is creepy in itself) before enchanting Shelley's drink and taking it a bit too far. Then Asar-Suti stops by and he and Shelley turn out to have a lot in common when it comes to drinks.
* Lilly gives Peter a prezzie! And more . . . Self-summarized: Lilly gives Peter a present, their conversation veers into sweet, serious and tequila-laden waters. And then eventually they move to the hallway and THINGS GET TOTALLY OUT OF CONTROL EEEEEEE- er. They kiss.
* Susan has a nice morning's contemplation, semi-inspired by a chat with Desire.
* Faith frets about Sharpe's gun, which is fortunately unloadable and therefore safe in a family-friendly environment like Milliways.
* Medieval Barmaid on duty! Giving counsel to Tony - although not, alas, wine - and friendly staff-ish advice to Mace Windu.
* Random has a puddle. And a Gringoire.
* Venus is defeating . . . logs? Well, it's better than nothing. She also spends her time scritching not'cats and meeting One-Handed Jedi Masters.
* Susan and 'Bert are highly, highly schmoopy, with a judicious bit of angst added in for good measure. Warning for sweetness and lots of tinytext.
* Asar-Suti, by the trilobite tank. Self-summarized: Asar-Suti meets Mace Windu, and revives Guppy after a tiff with the flamingo.
* Zatanna bonds with some old pals from her world. One's dead, the other's a dad, but it's always good to catch up.
* Alanna and Thom are siblingschmoopy, and despite the discussion of naked there is absolutely no twincest. None. Nope. She also catches up with George, and asks Sharpe about the Daniel Hagman Memorial Gun.
* Thom is calm. Rhyming is fun! Self-summarized: Thom confuses Miki, who gets hit by a cod. He also talks to Tere about family things and music.
* Jack is grumpy and be-bruised. Self-summarized: Jack is mobbed by people wating to know WTF is up with the bruise on his cheek: he and Chris Chappelle actually have a friendly conversation, Kim gets to interrogate her dad; Elaine offers waitrressly assistance; and finally, Jack and Nita have a rather awkward conversation in which they make up before it turns to DOOM as she figures out Jack's big spoilery Season 4 secret.
* In the afternoon, Venkman is still shiny. He also meets Guybrush and Lt. Naraht.
* You know you're in trouble when your pet bonsai flamingo is sick of you.
* Ginny gets fed by Gil, and talks Quidditch with Angie.
* Gil's on the job! Self-summarized: Gil helps Sooty catch baby trilobites and fails to respond to flirting thus carefully keeping goat-pr0n out of the Bar - hmmm self-summarisation is easy!
* Max angsts angstfully at Michael before Moiraine joins them for counselling and planning. Also, he is fed by everyone's favorite faun.
* Tonks writes Mum and Dad.

Afternoon:
*Angelina's down in the mouth because people are gone. Gil brightens her day with ice cream.
*Bernardzilla: Susan, Faith, Fleur (with Big Font), Gil, Elaine, Anthy, Raven, Tom Riddle
*Hagrid notices a change in Gil, talks pumpkin boats with Zedd and Miniphants with Ginny (Self-Summarized)
*Seth meets Random, and they commiserate over checkers.
*Jaina and Seth are bored.
*Tony: George Mason offers some friendly comfort for an angsty Tony. (Self-Summarized)
*Raven begins teaching Random how to use the Pattern to strengthen his shields, and shows Susan how to make charms for herself and her family. (Self-Summarized)
*Az-zilla: Martin, Raven, Crowley, Bernard, Crowley-Bernard, Crowley-Susan Delgado, Susan, Tonks-Crowley, Tonks, Bernard-Tonks
*David talks to Faith about Nick's new insanity, and angsts at Richard about the Toronto torture. (Self-Summarized)
*Helen of the Incredibles is serenaded and charmed (ewwww!) by Asmodean.
*Dream meets Raven, Beowulf, and catches up with Peach (Self-Summarized)
*Truncated Eddie Happy Hour
*Guybrush announces wit duelling classes.
*Trillian is informed by Arthur that Zaphod isn't looking for her, except he is. Zaphod's kind of non-committatus that way.
*Martin & Martin meet. Sounds like a champagne, doesn't it? Martin (the killer) also meets Sherlock.
*Asmodean doesn't talk with Raven (compy issues), then he and Lily flirt. He's smacked by a fish, and talks with Random.
*KITT KARR and Bonnie snark about voices and love lives.
*Mouse and Trillian meet, and discover they have two things in common: Mouse and Arthur Dent.
*Moiraine: Elaine brings tea at Dream's request and is convinced to take a short break, in which she and Moiraine discuss Elaine's family and background, with great canon similarity identified, and then move into feminism. (Slowtimed). Morpheus appears, and Moiraine thanks him for his consideration, and then they are simply cute together for a while. Later, she and Roland discuss Cort's arrival and whether or not Roland should tell him things about the future; at some point later, Peter Pevensie asks her to Heal Caspian (although the healing is rejected in Caspian's thread). Afterwards, she returns to her table and is joined by Bran, who discusses poetry with her-- and is stunned by a plotty revelation. Meg drops by and tells Moiraine that she'll be joining the ranks-of-pseudo-immortal-mortals after her own death, and this is still under discussion, as the thread is slowtimed. Finally, Nita Callahan introduces herself and asks for help with a problem that concerns Asmodean, which immediately gets Moiraine's full attention... (Say it with me, folks: slowtimed.) (Self-Summarized)
*House meets Logan and they compare Realities, is blamed by Allison for her being here and he admits he has an addiction.
*Peter Wiggin cannot sing "It's Not My Birthday." Alanna baked him a cake (and ended up wearing most of the flour and batter it seems) and got him a puppy. Val uses C-3P0 and R2D2 to tell him she's proud of him. And she loves him.
*Svava-zilla : 1-A cod gets tossed at Svava. Three cats make short work of it. 2-Yrael and Svava head off to spar, as her magic won't hurt him. For added effect, Yrael goes all monster-fenrir-wolf. 3-Svava meets Logan, they talk about various wheres and whens. (slowtimed!) 4-Indy comes over, he and Svava start talking runes. 5-And the three cats are met up by a cabbit, and they discuss hunting lightning bugs or laser light dots, you be the judge. (Self-Summarized)
*Roland (with OOM: He wants Cort's approval) is hit with a fish and tosses it to Svava.
*Indy Letters: to Bernard, Tim Hunter and George Cooper
*
Angel meets Mouse
, for great pizza-sharing and agreement that Milliways is a good place to be dead. He also catches up with Roger, who actually isn't in too bad of a mood for once! That goes downhill after a bit, though. Both threads currently slowtimed. (Self-Summarized)
*Ace: Claire comes with a picnic dinner, in the hopes that Ace won't take off again. Eventually introductions are made, Seth is his usually uber-adorable self, and they trade 'my life up 'til now' stories. Evidently Ace has been pretty sparing with the details. Then they discuss Tim - Claire tries to paint him in a better light than Ace sees him, but Ace is terrified skeptical.
Raven comes out to talk to Ace. Ace apologizes for her snappishness the day before, and they introduce themselves. Somehow the conversation wanders through dealing with Fenric, how Raven reminds her of the Doctor somewhat, how she's really Ace, even if everyone wants the old one back, and pyroism. It's a wide-ranging conversation. And Raven is really neat. (Self-Summarized)
*Iris and Gamble talk about her dating Hannibal Lecter, and him dating Rachel.
*Duo and Puck discuss who stole the ice cream and swimming. Jenni wants his ice cream, too. Jenni and Duo have a food fight for good measure.
*KARR wants to help Ace with her amnesia.
*Snow doesn't see Martin, and is greeted by Ryo-oh-ki. (stopped abruptly by RL necessity)
*Allison Cameron meets Gamble. They do the "where are you from, how did you get here" dance.
*Tim (with oom) and Raven discuss his wife's rescue.. Connor commiserates, Faith wants to help.
*Mace: First, Rachel helped with the Glass Shards. ( :Warning, log from MSN Messanger). Then a friendly cabbit found someone to take care of the missing hand. (Self-Summarized)
*Caspian-zilla! My first over 100-comment! Breaky!Caspian talks first to Raven, who offers to heal his arm, but ends up bandaging it instead, as per Caspian's rather unusal request, and then they discover a common acquaintance in Susan Pevensie; next, to C--the Green Arrow, who, thanks to the marvels of Milliways, also binds his arm for him (this will be a running theme here, people), and they talk about the boat. Next up is Peter Pevensie, who attempts to have Moiraine heal Caspian's arm and is annoyed when Caspian asks her not to, and they talk about Rilian and his enchantment. Lysistrata comes over and helps Caspian out, which is good for him and angsty for her. (Self-Summarized)
*Connor and Duo compare jobs, then he and Kyle are NOT 'manly' with each other.
*Sarah and Mace talk about home, swap bigotry stories, discuss why they won't do anything together ...
*Dr Crowe gets an omlette from Elaine, and shares with Ryo-oh-ki. Malcom gets cheered (a first for him) by someone else.
*Kyle meets Behrooz, and they talk about the mysterious drawing and being stuck in the Bar. (Self-Summarized)
*Ray: Martin Miggs comes around and talks to Ray about food. Because, well- FOOD. But not pixy sticks.
Scribble the baby raptor comes by with her toy! There is tug-of-war and then the rope is torn to bits, so Ray deploys one of his flashyballs and gets himself some protection against pointy bits, and then there is feeding time for the ickle Mesozoic deathbringer.
Lysistrata also pops up, and there is some discussion of things like rings and faked deaths and Spartan idiocy, and on the idiocy theme Ray reveals that he's currently having an envy/jealousy problem, and can't quite seem to get over it. Even though he knows it's stupid.
Scary scary Tim Hunter comes by to ask about borrowing a PKE meter. Ray is somewhat reluctant at first, but when he hears what happened to Ace, he hands the meter over without a quibble.
Hurley comes around to ask Ray what he knows about freakydeaky numbers and good / bad fortune combinations. Ray adds another item to his research queue as a result.
And finally, Akito turns up, and there is discussion of ID cards and communications gaps before Ray boggles a little at the name of Nergal Heavy Industries. Give the man a break, he's been studying Sumerian for the past week... (Self-Summarized)
*Akito meets Ryo-Oh-Ki, who delivers a self-esteem boost and cuteness. Cute fuzzy talking animal types are good for shonen heroes. (Self-Summarized)
*Bran meets Raven, who turns out to be his cousin, sort of, and receives a leather jacket from Ako. (Self-Summarized)
*Megzilla: Hurley, Tim, Ryo-oh-ki, Indy, Desire
*Yrael and Jason discuss The Ring ...
*Raguel slow-times with Columbia.
*Crowley gets burned by Raguel. He dies. There is much grieving.
*Juilin and Moiraine know each other. She leads him through the Bar Introduction Ritual.
*Zedd regrows Mace Windu's hand (Self-Summarized)
*Luke leaves a note
*Narnianknight:The Knight (aka Cole) meets Edmund and Derry, and gets his wrists bound.
*Roland summarizes Raguel and Crowley from his POV
*
Stephanie meets Akito
, and there is mutual awkwardness; Steph meets Barry, learns that other people she knows might frequent the bar, realises she may have a chance at redemption, and is convinced to take off her mask for the first time since arriving here. (Self-Summarized)

Foaly comes along and wants to know why "cherub-cheeks" is so blue; when Puck tells him, he promises to destroy Oberon with GADGETS. Then he steals Puck's pants and gets kissed. Morgan is slightly creepy at Puck, but then is sweet and offers to read his future. Puck declines, and hope is discussed. Faith meets Dr. Malcolm Crowe, gets field trip ideas (and talks tasty, tasty food) with Mal, and talks mothering and the past with Snow.
Castle gets caught up on the rest of Season 4 by Audrey, has a HoYay-tastic entertaining dinner with Mercutio, and explains being Bound to Random.

Ray's taking April O'Neil shopping... but he shows off his car, too, so he gets to keep his Y-chromosome.

Connor practices archery outside; in the process, he gets pranked on by Bart, and bonds with Alanna.
Duo dulls Jenni's resentfulness toward Puck.
Jaina, Val, and Tahiri return with sims from the Enderverse, much to Luke and Bonzo's delight.

Sawyer chats briefly with Hurley, schmoops with Claire, and gives Seth his first Blackjack lesson.
Apropos meets Jack Knight and snarks with Entipy.
Hurley meets Win 95.
Akito meets Apropos.
Dream welcomes Sarah to M-ways, and it would work better if Derry wasn't being too cute for words. Apropos thanks him for a dream gifted many years ago. Susan comes over and There Be Plot, only not yet because things are being talked over. So. Slowtimed.
Boone learns Hurley is a patron, and he and Claire like the bar better than the island.
El Vago decides to goad Arithon, and it works really well. Don't insult the coat. Mel steps into the fray mess and upon realizing that she's security Arithon asks her to jail Vago for knocking him out yesterday. She finds out that Vago is supposed to wait for Bernard to sentence him and lets him go. Arithon isn't happy, but isn't going to argue with Security. Oh, no! There goes Tokyo. Go go Threadzilla:

Millichannel for Saturday, June 18th [Jun. 19th, 2005|09:37 am]

[info]henry_jones_jr
After the storms of the last week, the weather is relatively clear of plot, paving the way for showers of cute.

Morning threads by [info]femme_wizard; and the evening ones by [info]henry_jones_jr. Thanks to all self-summarizers. Comment with anything we missed, or obviously got the wrong end of the stick about.

Plot

>>> Adam meets Morgan, and shocks her with news of her future son. They talk about Mordred and Arthur and death (cue ominous music).
>>> El Vago confesses to Bernard, who puts him in the cells and leaves Security a curt note.
>>> Michelle Dessler concludes that, in order to live out their future, she and Tony must separate. Neither party takes the news well. Tony convinces Michelle to spend time with him upstairs.
>>> Ace is back! She's kinda embarrassed about what she got up to when amnesiac'd, though. Then Bernard tells her about Crowley, and it gets doomy. Later though, she is beaming and/or hugging everyone, including Wash, Mike and Raven.
>>> Bernard lets Arithon know that Vago has been put in the cells. Bernard doesn't see Arithon as grumpy. Curse of the Mistwraith is summarized in one really long post. Arithon can hear magic, Bernard thinks that's cool. Arithon isn't dealing well with the death of Joe. He also has plans to deal with Vago, which Bernard Does Not Approve, Honestly.
>>> Anthy's been screwing with people's memories. Uh, I think.
>>> Chloe leaves the bar after saying goodbye to Ryan, Jack and Kim.

Watch This Space

>>> Alanna offers to teach Adam to ride, Adam agrees to help Alanna with pranks.
>>> Steph apologizes to Garion
>>> Snow clears up a few things for Joyce about Faith. Garion, Nick, Liam and Ako also confuse the Hells out of the poor Slayer-Mommy
>>> Gil Grissom invites Faith to the solstice party.
>>> Yrael consoles Iris about Hannibal.
>>> Jack meets Bernard and apologizes for his part in the Arithon doom.
>>> Bernard tells Faith about Crowley, for doom and the TonksBaby for glee.
>>> Spoiler and Nightwing meet for the first time since her death.
>>> Bernard tells Simon he's in on the plan to raid the Academy.
>>> Yrael wakes up enough to reveal why he is exhausted to Dr Lecter. They discuss uses for lit-up cushions and come up with some really good ideas. Jason also comes by and asks Yrael to make him some silver bullets for Archie. Later, Svava takes him to his box and tucks him in.
>>> Snow and Svava make further plans to test the Valkyrie's new portal spell, before roping Meg in for the contingency rescue plan.
>>> Simon talks with Roland about Plans, tries to explain the Cortex, and finds out about the death of Crowley.
>>> It's Smeagol's birthday! But there's terrible woe afoot for the poor hobbit (slowtime).
>>> Inara finds out that Indy and Mal have talked. Awkwardness is further avoided for now though.
>>> Indy suggests that Mike should get Mel a bikini and some honey dust, before some serious upcoming baby-care nonchalance.
>>> Susan Delgado hears of Tonk's pregnancy from Ingress and proceeds to pass the news, and later baby Derry, along to Indy. Indy is mildly chagrined at Bernard's mischievous withholding of information.
>>> Behrooz has another breaky dream.

Love n' Romance

>>> Connor and Faith are cute. And dirty.
>>> Gil's still a faun. Sooty misses the Gil Sex.
>>> Bernard and Tonks are cute. But you knew that. Then they have to break the Crowley and baby news to Sunny. It's still cute, but breaky too. Oh so breaky. An beautiful and...oh.
>>> Fleur and Tonks talk about happiness and their respective relationships.
>>> After drunkenly chatting with Q for a while, Gil is invited to dinner at a mysterious Darkened Booth (slowtime). I wonder who could have set that up? Actually, I don't really. It was Asar Suti, with Hannibal's help.
>>> Hannibal and Iris play wonderful music together, but he won't sleep in her room with her tonight.
>>> Chris gets closer to Jack. Oh la la! I smell smut.

Worth a Look

>>> Iris and Ryo-Oh-Ki are cute as all hells.
>>> Iris is vague at the Dalek
>>> Grissom and Asar-Suti have a depressing conversation about bad people.
>>> Dalek. Artoo. What more needs to be said?
>>> Jaina and Wes talk about Earth and Wes's maturity level.
>>> Knight!Jack and Faith talk superheroing and Security. Raven and Faith talk Slaying
>>> Sarah and Raven talk about flying and Sarah's uncle Billy.
>>> Shelley succeeds in Not Fangirling Mace.
>>> Yrael. Mercutio. Ako. Big sleepy pile of cuteness.
>>> Arithon is not upset with Faith for what happened re: Lysaer. The Slayer and the demon-binder talk about home, and the fact that this is it. Arithon's over-abundance of curses is touched on, and then Arithon makes Faith blush.
>>> Alanna and Arithon talk about his past.
>>> Merriman and Raven talk legends.
>>> Raven and Audrey talk about death, drama, and its place in politics. Raven and Iris meet, and discuss arriving at the bar, tasks, and human emotion. Raven meets Duo, and they speak of magic, the fae, and Puck.
>>> Kooshbert Derry-sitting cuteness with Faith, Ace, and Anthy
>>> Dick has a Zilla. Mandy doesn't summarize it. Bad Mandy, no biscuit. But not a lot appears to happen outside the Steph thread, although it's all good reading.
>>> Ingress is going to be an auntie!
>>> Tonks meets Raven and they get on. Raven is like the bastard love child of Bernard and Aziraphael. This scares me.
>>> Ophelia and Bernard are just adorable.
>>> Archie and Meg on werewolves and demonbunnies. Meg invites Archie to her world
>>> Ray's back to uphold the other half of his automobile-related bargain, and after a long chat with Raven about all kinds of unsummarized things, Karr drops by to get down and dirty with the techno-babble. Lots of stuff to summarize, and no time to Google the MBS thing. Do it yourselves.
>>> Hannibal meets Thom with mild snark from both sides.
>>> Ray gleefully provides Wash with an update on the baby raptors and lets him fiddle with his PKE meter a bit, and Raven offers a charm to help him get some rest, along with a few tricks to change his appearance.
>>> Inara and Kerowyn get very drunk and plot to throw Indy in a pile of garbage. So drunk that they don't actually follow through, thank goodness.
>>> Roland and Svava talk about World Trees and Towers (slowtime).
>>> Kerowyn gives Raven the lowdown on Need and Companions.
>>> Ingress is Not Sleepy at lots of people. She gives Kerowyn a training update, meets Iris and compares magic, plays hide and seek with Raven and feeds Stampy peanuts while discovering where her frog Hubert really came from.
>>> Svava talks to Iris, and finds out about Iris-Hannibal. Maybe even Iris/Hannibal.
>>> The Knight clan have a celebratory drink over the completion of work on Ecto-1. Michael misses the party, but catches up with Kitt.
>>> Archie and Hannibal talk about Svava-Doom and other things, which scare the hell out of Archie.
>>> Famine returns to pay his respects to Crowley, before informing Meg about the death and making Anthy hungry for her octopus dumplings. Or is that octopi dumplings?

Entrances

>>> Lian Harper (Red Hood) arrives at Milliways after her death and straight away meets a younger version of her dad, Roy, in a remarkably unbreaky thread. She also forms a zilla by talking to Dick Grayson, Rachel, and Columbia, gets a security download from Tim, and almost gives Snow a coronary.

Millitimed to a past day

>>> Friday, 17th June: Belated birthday picnic for Jason.

Back Room

>>> Azzy apologizes for not being around
>>> Bansh links to a whole pile of nineteen.

>>> Midge wants a magical char for the purposes of a little gender-switching
>>> Saphie apologizes for comments made in crack chat.
>>> Potter Plot kick-off is at noon ET today.

>>> What Dark Tower? (Roland-Svava)
>>> Happy Birthday Smeagol. (Smeagol)
>>> Do you want dinner tonight? (Hannibal-Iris)

Millichannel Summary for Sunday, June 12 [Jun. 15th, 2005|12:22 pm]

[info]not_that_spike
Morning

In the Bar:
*** 172 comments later, Mel leaves this summary (thank you so much): Asar-Suti wants to pay Mel back for killing the Hellfly, and he won't take no for an answer. So eventually Mel agress to go on his tab until she can think of a wish to be granted. Then the Flash comes over to thanks her for the fly Slayage. They try and fail at small talk and agree that the first person to catch Salzella gets drinks from the entire staff. Finally April confronts Mel about not saying she was Mikey's girlfriend. To make it up to her, Mel cures her hangover and offers to help her kick Tim Hunter's ass. They're joined by Stampy and Mikey and between them they try to explain the situation to April, as well as warning them about the Hunters, and producing The List. April's still a bit wierded out by it, so Mel leaves her and Mikey to have a little heart-to-heart.
*** Clarice and Hannibal have a nice little slow-timed discussion on... literature?
*** Chase tells Guppy about the alternate universe.
*** Ray tells Suti who killed the fly and they talk alternate fuel systems; Eska-I'm-a-girl-again thanks Ray and learns how it all happened.
*** Asar-Suti threadzilla with Serena, Atreyu, Guppy, and the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Summary promised in the back room soon.
*** Chur wakes Sara up before coffee is spilled. They trade stories about their respective worlds. Asar-Suti also keeps Sara in the waking world, though precious coffee is sacrificed to innuendo. Barry also drops by, giving her an update on the Phantom situation.
*** Gil's human mind is back. So are Sunday roasts. Sooty and Gil stop by.
*** Largeman meets Guybrush (an actual pirate and not just one dressed for a party). They discuss the miracle of television, and Andrew breaks it to Guy that the world is round before directing him to have Ray explain it and then running away in dino-phobia. Andrew meets Angelina (who mistakes him for Raph - yes, it's still happening), and is not the world's best conversationalist. Lithium can do that to a guy.
*** Dino-cuteness! Cera, Petrie, and Littlefoot on how curious humans can be; Spike-the-dino (as opposed to Spike-the-bounty-hunter) unnerves Largeman; Cera is appropriately Cera-like with Tony Almeida; Littlefoot meets Sara (not Cera).
*** Liam tries to keep Faith from worrying about Andrew; talks music with Roger.
*** Angie Johnson and Gil talk faun-shape, work, and Quidditch.

*** Bonnie. Ray. Plans.

*** Murphy and Sara Sidle talk again. They do that sometimes.

*** Liam plays the piano. He talks to Faith about various things including Charlie, Andrew and worrying. Also, Roger and Liam on music. Liam wins at the universe.

*** Vago also returns, and discusses explosions with Ace.
*** Hannibal and Yrael talk about the front door. Then they leave to go to Yrael's world and replace Hannibal's missing finger.

Threadzillas Ahoy:
*** Alannazilla! The twins discuss Thom's offer to fade Bernard's scars, and Alanna and Svava discuss everything from bikinis to puppies, with a few knowing smiles and laughs thrown in for good measure.
*** Kimzilla!First, "Snowflake" stops by for some petting and comfort. Kim and "Snowflake" also read the book together, Kim having no idea about his connection to that universe. Next, Brian Gamble stops by for a quick hello before running off. After that, Chase comes over to tell Kim about seeing the door. There's comfort and worryschmoop about him leaving and the entire "memory modification" thing, and then Chase goes upstairs. At some point, Kim meets Regulus Black. He asks her questions about the book, she answers and then sometime during the conversation he shows his mark and shares his name. Kim is surprised but quickly calms down. They talk about his death, stepdaughters, and being Bound. Finally, Kim meets Seth Cohen and they have a friendly conversation about Harry Potter, heroes, Seth's canon, and sleeping in Milliways. Seth goes to sleep and Kim goes upstairs to Chase's room.</a>
*** Megzilla! Bill Weasley and Meg talk about Egyptian portals, muse about the purpose of the bar, and squee over Bill/Fleur. Indy and Meg talk about a variety of angsty subjects, including the Phantom, Josiane, and Val's pregnancy; in an attempt to fend off the barrage of angst, Indy invites Meg to stay in the suite for a bit so she won't be alone at night, and she agrees. Susan and Meg have very, very different views on love, but they discuss it anyways and Are Friends and it is sweet. Lilly invites Meg to a sleepover, Meg invites Lilly to the Paris Opera, there is discussion of Logan and they are BFF and it is sweet. Ben Hawkins hears about the Phantom and Andrew leaving and is protective and unhappy. Roland is surprised when Meg doesn't protest his command to eat (and fish snobbery); he hears about the Phantom and Andrew and invites her to spar with him, which he thinks will work better than sympathy because he is wise. Regulus decides to get Meg to open up to him by freaking her out liek wo with plans to marry her, get her pregnant, and call her Marguerite Black forever; unsurprisingly, the freakout works, and Regulus proceeds to be very sweet and an excellent French-speaking stepfather. Anthy and Meg make polite small talk, Anthy is sad that Meg won't be sleeping in the bar anymore but won't admit it, Meg invites Anthy to Paris Anytime and it all ends with the icon of friendschmoopy doom. Finally (although really the Indyconversation is finally, due to Millitime) Cuthbert comes over to be warned about the Phantom and discuss tragic ballads, As Seen In [info]milli_crack.
*** Behroozilla! Thankfully shorter than the above! Behrooz meets Bill, and they talk about... a lot of things, ending on Bill encouraging Behrooz to look outside the Bar. Mercutio and Behrooz talk about geography and other things. Michelle comes over to check on Behrooz.
*** Rayzilla! Ray once again displays all the survival instincts of an eggplant as he finds first one, then two, then three baby Utahraptors clustering about his table. They get fed, watered, and played with, and then momma shows up, so she gets fed too. The babies get named Scribble, Kona, and Tiger, and Scribble decides that she likes playing tug-of-war with Ray, which is good, because he likes playing it too. Donatello shows up at the sight of Ray's T-shirt, and there is discussion of general geekery, then ghost geekery, before Donatello realizes who Ray is. Then Ray breaks out the Map of Milliways Patrons' Worlds and OMG TECHNO FOO. Slowtimed for now. And Lysistrata comes around, and she and Ray chat, and the possibility is planted in Lysistrata's mind of visiting New York City. Ray indicates that the status of women in his time is fairly high compared to Athens in Lysistrata's day. There is also much discussion of the fact that the Greek playwrights and philosophers are still remembered and taught in the schools in Ray's time, which pleases Lysistrata to no end.
*** Crowleyzilla! In which he speaks to ... Susan, about wings vs. brooms, racing day hats, Santa, the Milliways horses ( and dinosaurs), and some of Crowley's ethereal hat-tricks. Tonks, about the Head Baahman's present, the implications of such, the New Sofa, and general debauchery. Martin Miggs, the Mad Muggle, about... the undoing of straitjackets. Tom, about thir respective weeks, and a Certain Heroic Quest. Faith, about photos of Bernard wearing his present, incriminating video footage, montages, and dinosaurs. Aziraphael, about Tintern Abbey, plans for the week, and breaking in that new couch. Cuthbert, about hitting Lucifer with a poker, Academy smackdown, and suicidal charges.
*** Indyzilla! Indy tries to convince Kitty to take a vacation, but discovers that she already has one planned. Indy and Mike get a day's custody of Derry—the world fears. Mel is curious about the pillow, and finds out about Meg sleeping in the suite. They have an interesting conversation about Mike, Xander and exclusivity, before Indy scrapes the surface of her insomnia problem. Josiane catches Indy canoodling with Delia in her bondage gear. Some tense moments follow, with a very pointed question about love, but everything works out very nicely. Cuteness follows after Josie leaves.

New Arrivals:
*** Martin Miggs
*** Sherlock Holmes

Back Room:
*** The Hellfly became a meal.

[info]bloody_rockgod
A.M. [info]watch_wait
P.M. [info]bloody_rockgod All lateness of my fault. Mea culpa.

Weather: a brief outbreak of rhyme followed by a flurry of celebrations.

-Ray makes Hellfly notes.
-Kim tells Chase about how she broke Jack a few nights ago. Chase does not take it well.
-Barry leaves for Las Vegas.

-Roses.
-Tahiri's writing things she wants to remember.
-Andrew broods.
-Ray has worked out another detail about the Hellfly.

Also of interest:
-Peter Venkman and Ivy Walker meet, and there's much flirting, and bonding over being Bound, wha-hey.
-Basically, Ivy Walker is a flirt.
-Sunny finds Sharpe.
-Anthy and Utena are slightly creepy.
-Feeding time for Joshua.
-Jack and Gil.
- Claire convinces Jaina to play an "Earth game"; meets Penny, who isn't at all disturbd by her swearing or bluntness; confuses Ace with her clothing preferences; and finally, she tells Sawyer about kissing Charlie and then takes him upstairs for a surprise.

OOM:
-Indy dreams.
-And there's Bernard's party.
-Behrooz dreams.
-Breaky!Jack.
-Sideshow Bob is a wolf in Springfield.
-Mel/Mike the morning after.
-Kim dreams too.
-Wake up, Hal.

Back room:
-Zedd-mun will not be around for a while.
-FAQ poll.
-Utena-mun won't be around much.

Afternoon
Plot:
-Bartending Tony-zilla, summarized here. Thankee, Tony-sai.
-Kitty-zilla: Telling Jaina about the miscarriage, telling Snow about it, welcoming Lilly back and talking about miscarriage and blushing on British Boys with the name Pevensie.
-Lex tries to learn his future in Smallville from Kon.
-In which Ray comes to check on Kitt and tells him about the Hellfly - at which point Kitt wonders if he should invest in a beekeeper's suit for the good of all involved with him. They solidify some plans about the desert race, and Michael steals a sandwich. Kitt offers Ray driving lessons (who better to teach driving than a car, really?) and agrees with semi-declared kinship to Egon Spengler. The car facepalms over the tricks played between MIT and CalTech - which begin in the eighties, lucky him - before Ray goes upstairs to check his experiments. Kitt and Michael go on to discuss their team and Ray's, and Kitt actually teases his partner about old memories. Kitt also threatens to sing Leo Sayre songs, segueing into telling Michael about his efforts at music. Memories return, starting with 'Take It Easy', by the Eagles (go watch the pilot episode, Knight of the Phoenix, if you want to get the joke). Then they decide on making an effort with seat covers and floormats until Kitt can be fully reupholstered, and that Kitt needs a good test run around the lake before they decide whether or not to take the train to their next vacation destination. That said, they head upstairs and hit bed to be ready for the next day's tests.
-Susan, with scary!roses, sits on the couch watching the rafters. People notice, and so she meets Lysistrata and Bianca both for the first time, and talks with the latter about vampires and obsession; talks with Roland about his swordwork with the angel, gunslingers-as-weapons, and how there's nothing really to worry about from the Phantom, probably; and then with Cuthbert about said Phantom, who shows up and is tackled from the rafters by Faith while 'Bert is gunslingery-and-protective at the same time. There are snarky secretive puns. Poor hellfly-bitten Roger ends up in the cells.
-Duo helps Jenni see what's out the front door, and they discuss the heroes they know.
-Ace tells Tim that Klarion says hi. Later Ace is cheerful at Cuthbert over the attempted kidnapping.
-Iris takes Lecter's being a sabre-toothed cat remarkably well.
-Delia and Richard are both shocked to find hellfly'd Charlie drinking coffee. And that's before the music issue comes up.
-Sam talks to Janet and then tries to go home as an escape from Janet, but then finds out that’ she’s bound and there is tears. Janet comes, thinks Sam is in shock, tries to get her upstairs, but on the way Sam has another memory flash and crumples on the floor. Enter Galahad who tries to help Janet get Sam upstairs, and Sam punches a bit, but he ignores her and carries her upstairs anyway. Janet is relieved that Sam is upstairs, and Sam stares at the wall. Also, Millitimed to before the above, Sam meets Michelle! Sam likes having a new friend, although she is still a bit guarded.
-Mitzi has lost patience with hellfly'd Guppy, who tries to convince Asar-Suti to take over miniflamingo babysitting for him.
-Lots of feel-good fluffyness as Indy apologizes to Mel, right down to the tinyphant ear muffs. Then they go back up to Indy's to have sex.
-Faith is surprisingly uncheerful for having caught the Phantom.

Also of interest:
-Michelle and Elaine talked about being at court, Elaine's history, Michelle's family and singing ability (or lack of it). Then, Michelle spotted Jack Bauer and she tried to find out how he was doing and convince him to eat along with other woeful topics (slowtimed).
-Qui-Gon meets Logan and Gil, and discusses changes in certain patrons' behavior with Jaina and Ray.
-Lysistrata asks to serve Athena.
-Ryan and Elaine have gardening schmoop.
-Bianca meets and flirts with Gamble. He's dead, she's a vampire...everyone's happy.
-In Which Svava tells Duo that Max is alright, and they then discuss the technology of warfare.
-Andrew and Molly. Which is more surprising: movies to a wizard or magic to a Muggle?
-Mark interviews Jane for his movie.
-Unhappy!Smeagol is cheered up by Chip, Iris and Lysistrata. Cookies and chocolate are involved.
-Asmodean has a whitetexty conversation with a Night mare.
-Duo and Chur play cat's cradle.
-Ingress is looking for Gavroche, but takes time out to teach Smeagol to use crayons.
-Tim shows Molly the lake, and she is not shocked at the skinnydipping.
-Blowden and Mordred reminisce.
-Cooper bumps into Elaine for the first time -- literally -- and interrogates questions her on her experiences with death and dying; he finds Hannibal Lecter in tiger form and they talk about the nature of God and Ego before both their true natures emerge from behind the politeness and philosophy.
-Roland talks to Svava about parties, the Endless, and Death. Also, both of their day jobs, so to speak.
-Piper meets Garion the almost wolf and Bianca the vampire, both of whom Piper does not kill.
-Galahad talks to Boone about Shannon and to Meg about, er, birth control. Both slowtimed. Then he talks to fox!Mordred for a while and they go upstairs.

OOM:
-Kitty talks to the doctors, settles payment with the hospital staff, and orders the genetic testing of the tissue done, with the results going to her.
-Raph just barely saves Andrew from breakage. Witness his leet Woobie-handling skillz. Walls are punched, bottles thrown, names called, threats made. It all ends with some ever-so-manly friend!schmoop, though. Who woulda thunk it? Millitimed to last night.
-Claire's peculiar behavior distracts Indy and after clearing up the matter of which of her friends actually likes him, they decide to cancel the session for that week.
-Ace has a 'splody adventure in London.
-Claire attempts to get some information out of Sawyer. She is rather effective at it, actually. Not really adult, but might as well be.
- Indy and Mike clear the air prior to the party. After a cameo for unwanted mental images of a naked Bernard, Indy apologizes for upsetting Mel and finds out why Mike was so down. Tense moments on both ends, and then some very interesting sharing from both parties. Everything resolves happily, with the usual lewd jokes. Now Indy just has to talk to Mel...
Death and birth for Hotaru.
Faith dumps Roger in the cells.

Back room:
Teenaged girl banner!

As always, clarifications and corrections welcome in the comments.

Millichannel for Saturday, June 11th [Jun. 12th, 2005|01:40 pm]

[info]henry_jones_jr
The weather was raining newbies. Lots of initial hailing with a reasonable chance of dinosaur fear. Milliways was later plunged into darkness by the total Eclipse of the Wells.

Morning threads by [info]femme_wizard and the evening ones by [info]henry_jones_jr. Thanks to all self-summarizers. Comment with anything we missed, or obviously got the wrong end of the stick about.

95 & Van Helsing discuss file corruption & pirated software before he fobs her off on Connor.
Largeman's got himself a 'zilla. Huh. Andrew has garnered the attention of a skeeery raptor. Andrew doesn't like dinosaurs he gets this from his mun. In a brilliant example of Millitime in action, he is: Rescued by Xander, Almost-attacked by the raptor, ultimately ending in fainting, and In a questionable situation with Arthur wherein they cling to each other like scared little girls. Also, he has a chat with Indy about Mike/Mel. Indy notices something is different, but doesn't press the issue, preferring to offer a truce. Large's mun gets a check-plus for self-summarizing.
Tim greets a couple of newbies, talks about all said newbies behind their backs with Ace, and chats with Connor.
Faith is a horse thief. Connor appears to like to have sex with horse thieves.
Kitty-zilla. Tonks talks to Kitty about Val. And then asks her and Edmund to dinner. It is nice female friendship talk with no insanity. This is rare for Kitty. She tells Indy about Val, too. Who is surprised by this? Indy is then a good friend and tries to make her laugh and is generally cute. Angel is also told about Val. He is optimistic. Kitty decides to kill him for this. Muns who self-summarize make this millichanneler happy.
Tony and Behrooz kinda sorta bond over mommy issues.
Chur meets Atreyu, and they discuss Anuurn and Fantasia and going home after being gone a long time. Behrooz comes up to Chur and tells her his real name.
Tonks is a mommy-to-be!
Sawyer gives Jaina her birthday present. It's the thought that counts.
Bonnie and Michelle catch up.
Susan Delgado's busy night. Susan talks with Anthy about why it'd be a really bad idea to harm Cuthbert (slowtimed); with Crowley about the Phantom, AIDS, and Anthy; with new-come and Bound Saavedra Grjalva about the bar in general and art and is as reassuring as possible (slowtimed); and then finally with Roland about the Phantom, music, and Dream... which leads to great confusion and Endless evasiveness, and finally to Roland inviting Moiraine to join the conversation, in order to make a point and get some answers. (Also slowtimed.)
Crowley gets harassed by muppets and
a whatever the hell Sam-I-Am is.
Surely Aziraphael can make it better.
Columbia's happy to have Bill Ainsley back.
Marrow sits to enjoy a little Asmodean music.
Sam-I-Am and Yrael have an Old School Rhyme Off. He
also comforts one of the new arrivals. What a nice not'cat.

Sawyer has an embarassed girlfriend. He comforts her in Sawyer style. He's also forced to eat abnormally colored ham and eggs.
Roland-zilla: First, here is Sam I Am, who gets Roland to try the green eggs and ham because Roland has read the book and knows that this is how you get Sam to go away. Then there is Venus, who kind of freaks Roland out with odd personal questions; Roland automatically assumes that she knows Anthy. Lilly and Roland discuss music, family members who come into the bar and how that's a mixed blessing, and swordfighting -- this ends with a promise of sparring, and omg this might actually end well. Next up is Aziraphael, who
teaches Roland about be-bop. Then they talk about Eddie and why his not being a gunslinger any more is really inconvenient...which leads to Roland telling Aziraphael about the Academy and the angel telling Roland that he won't use a gun, but he does have a really nice sword that he'll smite evil
Academy types with, if Roland wants, for great yay and omfg. Last of all is Cuthbert: they engage in reminiscing about Cort and old songs of Gilead, and this ends in Roland and Cuthbert going upstairs to listen to old Dylan songs and stuff that will be summarized later and elsewhere. Ah, breaky nostalgia.
God bless the self-summarizing skills of Roland's mun.
Cuthbert discusses Bernard's birtday with Lilly, then inadvertantly reveals that Alain's is coming up, and ends up agreeing to cut her in on whatever plans get made for it GEN PLEASE TO NOT BE KILLING ME WHEN YOU SEE THIS I TRIED TO
STOP HIM REALLY. He also meets Chur, for great OMGWTF lionperson, and gets accosted by Sam-I-Am, who fails to convince him to try green eggs and ham.

April O'Neil and Mel bond over turtle love.
In which Kitt discovers that a newcomer to Milliways looks almost exactly like him, but female. Introductions ensue and Kitt manages to completely forget to give the Welcome to Milliways speech in favour of discussing Romans, his height, the traditions of kings, and the nature of his reality.
Asar-Suti heals Guppy and is apologetic about the Hellfly fiasco.

First meetings (not involving new folks):
Lysaer and Jack Knight.
Arthur Dent and Mouse.
Moiraine and Boromir.
Moiraine and Kitty.
Boromir and Gorlim have a mini Gondorian reunion.
Maureen and Columbia.

HOLY CRAP, LOOKIT ALL THE NEWBIES!

Millichannel for Tuesday, June 7th [Jun. 10th, 2005|11:22 am]

[info]blue_ajah
This report brought to you by your friendly neighborhood summarizing team of Aspen (morning) and Hat (evening).

Morning at Milliways
  • Andrew chats with Ray about how being a Ghostbuster is the coolest thing ever, and Ray shows him the Ecto-1, to Andrew's tire-kicking delight (Slowtimed.) Andrew meets Asmodean for real this time, but isn't pleased by the concept. He almost throws his cold bagel at the guy's head for making him want to cry over baked goods. Self-summarized in post by [info]in_it, all praise and thanks!

  • Aiya! Let's see what we've got... (MilliChannel Note: that would be this long and lovely self-summary by [info]gone_byebye, thank you!) Liam is worried about Charlie and approaches Ray with the news. Not only can't Charlie read music, he shows no interest in that fact. The idea of a brain injury is raised and put aside. The idea of magical contagion from Guppy or one of the other people reportedly changed is also raised. This is not put aside. Ray decides to put up a poster at some point asking for reports of such matters, based on the old bounty posters for smallpox cases in the 1970s. Eska turns up but that's handled in Eska's journal. Guppy is having no luck at all eating today, and moreover, has big gaps in his memory. After some questioning they appear to be related to fears of Guppy's. Further discussion reveals that Guppy doesn't even remember his nightmares. This does not sit well with Ray at all. Venkman comes around next, and last week's PKE readings are the topic of conversation. Ray tries to be reassuring, even though the whole thing scared him; Peter gets all gloom and doomy, and then apologizes for being a problem. The apology leads to further exploration of the buzzing noise Venkman gets in his head- it seems to be some form of psychic perception that isn't under control yet. Then comes Asar-Suti, and in-depth discussion of the magical aspects of what's been going on. Including, it turns out, the magic changes Sooty's been feeling, which prompt the god to wonder if he's not the source of the problem. Tinges of Discworld magic turn up in his PKE reading before he leaves. And finally, Barry. Barry shoots down Ray's poster idea on the grounds of not wanting to cause panic, but brings up a possible sixth case- a Jedi who used to be talkative and seems to've clammed up. The ensuing discussion leads to Barry saying he's going to recommend Ray act as an epidemiologist in this case until someone who actually is one turns up. Whoo!

  • Raph isn't in a good mood when he talks to Largeman and Penny.

  • Michelle Dessler drops by to ogle the half naked Tony discuss Jack Bauer and the Dinaplot with Tony Almeida. They later use the lake as a flirting tool and run off to have sex. Self-summarized by [info]iwasalevel6, all praise and thanks!

  • Tahiri meets Barry.

  • Indy's in the bar. The Flash catches up and shares news of the phantom investigation, eventually requesting that Indy help out by getting some updates from Meg. Tere confronts Indy about the letter she left him, and Indy is very nice about it. Everything works out rather well after some intial angst on her part. The Tonys, baby Derry and the rumors of Del's change are also touched upon. Self-summarized by [info]henry_jones_jr, all praise and thanks!

  • Robed!Serena is back and talks with Jason and Rachel.

  • Adam Whiteley is bartending for the first time! To celebrate this, he's in full drag. He serves Logan, Sawyer, and Rent!Angel.

  • Drusilla goes swimming and talks to Serena.

  • Lucca's in a dress and a bad mood. Think Asmodean's music will help that?

  • Chris talks with Tony about Jack and Asmodean shows off some of his powers and they discuss the weather. Self-summarized by [info]geeky_agent, all praise and thanks!

  • Sara Sidle goes swimming, where she talks with Ace, Brian Gamble, and is cute with Barry.

  • Tim Hunter also goes swimming. Guppy and Ace show up.

  • Marrow is wounded, and talks with Sabin.

  • Faith talks with Mel about Ace's birthday, and with Meg about the advisability of not making deals with the devil.

  • Notes from Sara for Mike and Tim.

  • Elizabeth Swann follows Norrington to Milliways, looking for Will Turner. Instead, they find Jack Sparrow. Now that's interesting...

  • Asar-Suti is crocheting, which attracts the attention of Lucca and Guppy.

  • Sawyer's in the bar. Asar-Suti's new Hellfly skills give him some Sawyer insight; Boone comes by in a good mood, but it doesn't take long for Sawyer to kill that; uninhibited!Claire initially freaks Sawyer out, but he figures out how to make it work for him. Self-summarized by [info]confidence_man, all praise and thanks!

  • Jaina's out by the lake. Tahiri comes over to where Jaina's sitting to tell her that Barry wants to watch their lightsaber practice tommorow. She's still not talking much, much to Jaina's concern. Vetinari nods at her during his knife throwing, causing her to strike up conversation with him - mostly about planets and jobs. Finally, Tony waves at Jaina, and she walks over to him to see if he's feeling any better from the other day. The chat for a loooong time, mostly about the woes in their lives. Self-summarized by [info]jedipilot, all praise and thanks!

  • Faun!Gil is in the bar. With a mango.

  • A Bit Further Away-- Out of Milliways
  • Peter Venkman leaves a note for Kitty Pryde.

  • Edmund and Kitty in room 34. Warning for schmoop, woe, and FTB.

  • Elizabeth Swann is determined to find Will Turner.

  • In the Back Room
  • The Millichannel layout has changed. Pretty pretty!

  • Hagrid & Molly P.-mun is out sick. Feel better!

  • Bartending Summary: Indy and Mike. All praise and thanks to [info]henry_jones_jr!

  • Crackchat died, long live crackchat - this time at ghostofcrackchat.

  • Please to not break Logan-from-VM by telling him Lilly's around. She will handle that by herself...

  • Afternoon Inna Bar
  • The latter half of our Milliways Tuesday begins with Eddie responding to Audrey's letter with one of his own.

  • Jack (in the Green) meets Jane Drew and they discuss the value of learning, especially languages.

  • Jane and Gamble speak briefly.

  • Hellfly'd Charlie and Hellfly'd Claire almost act on their sexual tension. Keyword is "almost". Rated I for Immaturity Abounds.

  • Peter and Susan Pevensie discuss Lilly's absence and their younger siblings.

  • Iris talks music and illusion with Yrael, clearly doesn't pick up on the Joker's talk of chemistry, and chats briefly with Gamble.

  • Kitt reboots successfully, the virus removed, but needing a few reminders in the long run - to be expected. Kitt transforms and he and Michael head upstairs, while Bonnie gets some highly-needed rest in Karr's cabin.

  • Mikezilla! Largeman brings news of schoolboy crushes and dead gerbils. The rest dissolves into silliness. The MILF of Milliways...er, Lurline Delacour stops by for a grope visit. Helen and Mike exchange pleasentries. Ace brings good tidings of honeydust and joy. Honeydust and Joooooooy.

  • Yrael shows Svava the binding spell he has prepared for Fenrir.

  • Trois femmes Delacour. Fleur, her mother, and her sister descend on Milliways.

  • Roland leaves a rustlybox for Anthy.

  • Lurline Delacour catches Joker's attention.

  • Desire drops in and unlocks a hidden vice of Indy's, before settling in to catch up on his love life (slowtime). Meg belatedly follows up Tere's letter and gets grilled about the phantoms. A new rose arrives for her, even as she is being interviewed. Indy collates the evidence and leaves it all for Barry.

  • Kitt writes loooong summaries: Thread: In which Michael and Kitt come up from the cells and have a meal - Michael with his characteristic cheeseburger and Kitt with the more refined fettucini alfredo. Kitt learns just what kind of car Ecto is - cue facepalming - and decides that having Ecto in a race with he and Karr across the desert isn't really a good idea.
Thread: In which Ray happens by and Michael baits Kitt by telling Ray how 'eager' he is to see Ecto. It earns him a kick in the shin. Ray learns about NICK, and Kitt declares that he would enjoy meeting Egon, before Ray has to go. Thread: In which Asar-Suti comes by to check on Kitt and discovers him up and about. They discuss the wards and possible placement of them elsewhere for Ecto's coating of MBS. Kitt then discovers that, though he'd thought Xanthian magic and Asar-Suti's magic made things explode, it instead just didn't work. It had been a misunderstanding on PeeJee's part, but it's enough to make Kitt angry enough to declare that he is 'quite tired of being the victim.' Asar-Suti refers to Michael as an officer, and that brings quite a negative reaction, which immediately knocks Kitt's anger out from under him. Asar-Suti goes, on 'promise' of Michael talking to him alone later, but the discussion between the two partners proceeds. Michael questions Kitt about PeeJee's teddybear and clothing still in his room and it comes to light that Kitt has decided she's avoiding him. The fern was dry, and he'd just not seen her in quite a while. He doesn't seem upset about it. A tangent leads them to discuss Asar-Suti's planet in brief, which Kitt begins to offer to categorise by class of star, but then he apologises - it's one of his usual strange, intellectual treatises, after all. It's a reassurance. He really is back. And the conversation goes on into partnerschmoop.

  • In which Cassandra knows -exactly- the right way to be evil as she sees Kon with his new...hair.

  • Kimzilla! Tony Almeida stops by for angst and woe and guilt tripping. He starts by demanding to know what happened between Kim and her dad, Kim avoids and is then openly hostile before finally telling him. This leads to mutual worry about their inability to help him and fear and acceptance that her dad might be too far gone this time. Kim tries to blame Nina for all of her dad's problems but Tony says it's more complicated. Then, Tony accompanies Kim to her door and she tells him that she's not giving up. Kim also meets Gamble, they have a quick chat in which Kim learns about his death and that they're both from LA.

  • Xanderzilla! Xanderxilla? Interesting conundrum. Anyway, Xanderzilla with appearances by Mike, Indy, Joker, Kim, and Andrew. The brunette Andrew.

  • Andrew meets Andrew Largeman, says goodbye to Ray, shows Wash how to use a Slinky, and says goodbye to Svava.

  • Drunk!Jack is a complete jerk with Tony, who's just trying to help; and snarks at Asmodean (*facepalm*).

  • Val loses the baby and calls for Luke. Luke? Decides they need to find Kitty.

  • Ace thinks no one knows that her birthday is tomorrow.

  • Susan talks with Desire, discusses River, Griffin, and eventually fate with Zoe, and swimming and horseback riding with Ace.

  • In an Anthythread, Shati and Jo discuss Heero's toast-like qualities as Duo inquires about Chuchu. (Slowtimed.)

  • Some Phantom or other leaves Meg a red rose.

  • Zatanna has a look at Kon's hair.

  • Luke, still trying to help Val, spots Kitty-- who insists they go to a hospital. Now.

  • Harper has a Device. It's supposed to get him home. It frightens Duo. However, he ends up commiserating with Xander.

  • Duo darkens Luke's hair for him before Luke leaves with Val and Kitty.

  • After taking the Skywalkers to the ER, Kitty returns to Milliways, watches the window, and breaks the news to passer-by Faith and Edmund, who stays.

  • Ares is in the bar. He wants Penny to come to Olympus with him, is mildly (if briefly) irritated by Rachel, and is... terribly Greek with Eris. Your friendly neighborhood Millichanneller is lost among the coloredGreektext. Thankfully, they translate elsewhere.

  • Asar-Suti's breakfasting is interrupted by a still-intangible Guppy who does not believe Suti is a typhoid Mary for Strange Transformations, and by Michael Knight, whose instincts have got him beyond unamused with Suti-- or at least his inadevrtantly borrowed insights. Michael tries to distract Suti from Kitt by setting him to look for PeeJee, whom Michael considers a missing person.

  • Indy leaves a note for Barry.

  • Afternoon Outta Bar
  • Bartelby is confused by a hellflied Charlie. Hellflown?

  • Tim has issues, Kon tries to help. Smut ensues.

  • Kitty takes Val and Luke to the Emergency Room.

  • Hang on, let me see if it's in the Back Room.
  • Hat will be distracted. You should look at her toys.

  • If you were in the bar, you may have heard Val scream.

  • Greek translations.

Morning Summary for Monday, June 6 [Jun. 9th, 2005|09:11 pm]

    [info]iwasalevel6
The evening summarizer is ill; so here's a (belated) morning summary! (Say sorry!)

There's plot in them thar hills!

    • Sara is celebrating an anniversary she would dearly love to forget. Barry gives comfort, love, and ample distraction.

    • Tom leaves a letter for security.

    • Elaine finds Asmodean a healer, for great w00t.

    Fun with the Milliways Staff

Friendly (and sometimes Unfriendly or Downright Weird) Conversation

    • Susan Sto Helit is relatively pleased to find out what's been happening with Derry. Richard is made Lord of Tea, discovers the Chronicles of Narnia were true stories although he doesn't say anything about it, and then takes Derry off to New Orleans so that Edmund can get some sleep (and Kitty too, for that matter). Edmund meets Snow, as he's already met Millie and Wade from helping Kitty watch them earlier in the week. They also discuss Derry.

    • All in moderation, according to Ivy. Not so according to Sabin.

    • Rayzilla! Summary in the post, say thankya.

    • The bar is weird, as are the people in it. On this Peter Venkman and Michelle Dessler are clear. On the issue of Michelle's Tony problems, not so clear.

    • The Triplets and Miss Edith attempt to sell demon bunny legs, with no success. It might be the pricing.

    • Derry-toting Edmund bemoans the lack of tea. Caspian offers his own with a side of friendly chatter.

    • Caspian shares Ivy's joy in being taught how to read Braille.

    • Atreyu and Caspian share a common quirk of prefering the outdoors as a place of night rest. (I think my pup does, too, when he's feeling angsty)

    • Green!Jack gets an apple from faun!Gil; is exceptionally kind to Shock and Barrel; and schmoops with Grissom!Gil (or should that be Gil Grissom?).

    • Aziraphael has a suggestion in regards to a birthday present for Bernard.

    • Jaina is surprised at her friend's change in character. It's nothing a fly swatter couldn't solve.

    • Asar-Suti plans a solstice party/birthday party for Gil with green!Jack, talks to Gil Grissom about his love for his own Gil, and the ongoing challenge to astonish Grissom, is bouncy with Guppy, and Tiki finally learns his name.

    • Meg teaches Asmodean a new vocabulary word; is catty with Shock (and also teaches her a new vocabulary word); and discusses pregnancy and, of course, the bar with Elaine.

    Shoo, Hellfy, Don't Bother Me
    Various suckers got bitten today:

    • Garion, who has lost his reserve and his shoes.

    • Sideshow Bob, who has lost his hair and his humanity (he looks rather wolfish now).

    • Kon, who loses his charisma.

    • Claire, who has lost her good manners.

    • Enzo, who has lost his snark.

    • Drucilla, who loses her inner demon. Campbell, who gets a demon for his loneliness. Yay?

    • Tahiri, who's lost her free spirit.

    Pleased to Meetchya

    Wednesday, June 8 [Jun. 9th, 2005|07:23 am]

    [info]ms_w_harker
    Morning's Summary courtesy Becca:

A Lot Of Plot (Is Hot!):
    * Guppy's decided that being a ghost is maybe not so good for his medical career, what with the memory loss and all. Hopefully he's got good malpractice insurance . . .
    * Angua gives Bob a little help with his new mad wolf skillz.
    * Angua says: Werewolf intuition good. Rhalen baaaaad. Shelley is dubious in response.
    * Asmodean backs up the Rhalen baaaaad theory. Also, he gives Shelley a bagel. And everyone knows bagels don't deal in evil.
    * Bernardzilla! Self-summarized (and say very much thankya): Kitty Pryde tells Bernard about Val. There is Much Important Discussion On Many Subjects. Then she phases with him to show him what it's like. Then Raph is snarky, Bernard explains teething to the ex-turtle, Raph suggests hitting her with a stick in order to get her used to pain (WTF), and then the convo descends into crack. Ophelia is sweet and lovely and informative, then they start teasing each other. It's all terribly cute. Eddie and Bernard discuss Academy plans, Val, Crowley, and jigsaw puzzles. Elaine comes over to ask about breaks and shifts, and Bernard's not all that happy that she had to come to him.
    * Barry and Ray ponder possible causes of the Mysterious Occurences in the bar. It's like CSI! With magic and evil demonic flies! Guppy's got more information along the same lines for Ray.
    * Dru's human feels like butterflies! This makes perfect sense to Ophelia.
    * Eddiezilla! Self-summarizers are love. Eddie:
-meets Ophelia and discusses flowers and Towers and River. They work on the puzzle.
-talks to Susan about puzzles and Burt Reynolds and unicorns.
-talks to Roland about the stabbination of the not-man. Roland is grumpy (SHOCK!) and Eddie soothes him at least partially. Then they discuss what Simon said under hypnosis and what it might mean for their plans against the Academy.
-has a short chat with Liam, catching up on the latest woe; ie Hellfly-Charlie
    * Raph realizes that Something Is Not Right with Mikey. Will Apple help? Alas, not so much.
    * Plz help, Barty is trapped inna cell. With existantial woe.
    * Susan and Roland completely fail, once again, to have a friendly doom-free conversation. Don't give up, guys! You'll manage it someday!
    * Cuthbert wonders if Roland's vexed about him being on Security. Roland is unreassuringly silent.
    * Roland v. Aziraphael: DEATH MATCH! Well, no, actually it's a quite friendly sparring match - not to mention beautiful written - but DEATH MATCH is just more fun to type.
    * What's wrong with Mikey? Neither Raph nor Mel know, as it turns out, but they spend an awful lot of time eyeing each other warily before they figure it out.
    * Kitty unloads her woes on Aziraphael, who turns out to be awfully good at that comfort thing. Good to have an angel around, from time to time.
    * Cuthbert commiserates with Liam on Charlie's de-musicianed status.
    * Hellfly!Claire!Bartenderzilla! Self-summarized, with great thanks: Claire shocks Barry and Asar-Suti with her foul mouth; embarrasses Jaina with her questions about Jaina's sex life; bonds with Meg and receives a special costume; and is rather rude to Guppy.
    * Barry gives Meg lots of good advice on the Phantom. Which she proceeds to ignore, being Not That Bright.
    * Salzellized Roger and Meg chat for great stalkerosity perfect harmlessness!
    * Susanzilla! Self-summarized for great love: Susan meets Michelle, with talk of Tony, worlds, the woods, and strange things at Milliways; meets Roger, with talk of music; meets Jack Green, with a lovely discussion of death, life, growth, cycles, and beginnings, before they go to plant a red rose together; and talks with Cuthbert first about Anthydoom for woe and then about the lake and swimming-- and swimming lessons to be, with teasing and cuteness to end the afternoon sweetly.
    * Shortly after meeting Ophelia, Wash realizes that he now has a new ka-mate. 'cause that's the kind of person Ophelia is.
    * Simon tries to figure out why his sister went all stabby on Griffin, for great character development.
    * Asmodean makes Kim an offer that she - well, she can refuse it, but she has to try awfully hard.
    * Indy joins the list of People Worried About Mike after a disastrous waffle breakfast, and proceeds to head downstairs and break Mel. All in a day's work.
    * Contact Ray Stantz for all your Hellfly-related problems!

    Friendly Chats:
    * Andrew le Woob (as he is now officially designated) meets and chats with Shelley and Bethany.
    * Ray and Sharpe happily weaponsgeek at each other.
    * Ray fills Johnny in on the Strange Happenings 'Round Here. Johnny's like, whoa, y'all beat me for strange and that's saying something.
    * Ray tells Max about the epidemic; Max has got worse stories for him. Ray's conclusion: Max's world sucks.
    * Sarazillette! Self-summarized by the wonderful Sara-mun: Sara once again makes use of the lake. Barry comes by, for cute schmoop and they finalize plans for a trip to Vegas. No, not that kind of trip. Asar-Suti asks Sara if she's seen PeeJee lately. As she's never met her, she was less than helpful, unfortunately. They mutually geek out on physics-related trivia. Mike also drops by, with a surprising lack of flirting, for their promised conversation.
    * Max gets chicken soup and Sage Advice from the multitalented vampiress Serena.
    * Atreyu and Cynric talk CDs and magic. It is all very deep and serious.
    * Aziraphael's reaction to the Lostling situation: "Oh my giddy aunt!" This will continue to crack me up for a good long time.
    * Raguel and Aziraphael are like, 'wassup, angel, totally did not expect to see you in a bar!' Except, you know, angelically.
    * Cuthbert and Sharpe do some bonding over those big bangy things so dear to their hearts.
    * Asmodean and Atreyu have a Dark and Somber Conversation on Dark and Somber Topics.
    * Meg and Asmodean have a chat that's - really remarkably cheerful, for Asmodean.
    * Angel and Meg chat on topics ranging from movies to Mark to famous ankles.
    * Shelley and Meg decide that the Shelley-verse devil is definitely a poser.
    * Elaine and Daniel have a nice catch-up chat.
    * Daniel tells his Tale of Woe to Garion, who even in his unnaturally talkative state is left somewhat at a loss.
    * Elaine meets Murphy. And gets him his order. And - that's that, really.
    * Green Jack!Zilla! Self-summarized for my eternal love: Jack meets Elaine and they talk about Britain of old. Jack makes it rain cherry blossoms on Gary and then tells him a joke. Jack and Gil talk about control and release and whether the stars need instruments to help them sing.
    * Elaine commiserates with Guppy on his unfortunately ectoplasmic state.
    * Tonyzillette! Self-summaries earn you love and cookies: Tony Almeida and Jaina talk food, civilzations and friends. Elaine swings by to catch up on Tony.
    * Gary and Bethany meet,i and get straight to the gossip.
    * Jaina meets Baby Josh! Oh, and talks to Gary, but that's secondary to bebecute.
    * Audrey and Grissom bond over government-job!woe.

    Crack Attack!
    * Aziraphael gets Bernard some lovely birthday presents. Which leads to discussion of Aziraphael in woad, for GREAT mmmmm WTF, Mime!Bernard, and sheep!flinging.
    * Cuthbert? Aziraphael? You guys are really, really bad at finding 'manly conversation topics.' Just so's you know.
    * Ray lectures Daniel on the proper way to BWAHAHAHA.

    New Arrivals:
    * Wes Janson, of - some Jedi generation or other! Self-summarized for my great gratitude: Not that Wes gets confused/tricked easily or anything, but: Jaina manages to convince him she is some sort of Rebel hero worshipper, then there is discussion of Kettch and laughter, and then war, and then Wes finally works out that she's a pilot. Then she says she's from the future. And Wes is confused. There is also a conversation with Jag, in which there is more "wtk timelines?" and confusion and talk of being bound, plus innuendo on the part of the muns (what?) and disbelief at not being able to fly. And then -- oh noes -- it appears Wes is bound. Poor Captain/Major.

Summary for Sunday, June 5th [Jun. 7th, 2005|01:01 pm]

    [info]accessobrian
Summarizers Note: Firstly, I want to apologize, as it is entirely my fault this hasn't gotten up until now. Secondly: *bows before [info]not_that_spike-mun* First Half was Summarized by [info]not_that_spike-mun. Second half by Azzy, [info]accessobrian-mun. Thusly, the first half is much nicer than the second half. Forgiveness is begged for missing any threads in the second half.

Weather Report: Sunny? Sure. Why not.

    In the Bar:
    * Gil is a faun again! A completely happy, oblivious, faun with a very selective memory.
    * Brian Gamble tells Sara she's not acting like her normal self (Sara disabuses him of the notion of refering to her as normal). Michelle tells Sara what Tony's latest bright idea was and Sara opens up to Michelle about the downturn in her sunny demeanor.
    * It's not Val... it's Demosthenes! And can she swear a blue streak or what?
    * Vetinari and Puck on Puck's spells and being Bound.
Snow and Bigby's wedding reception, backdated to a week ago.
    * Snow and Bigby return from their honeymoon; Bigby catches up with Tim.
    * The Frizz is annoyingly cheerful with a hugely depressed Asmodean, who finally manages to beat her down; she gets reprimanded by Bigby: no open flames near the bar.
    * Asar-Suti talks about both Gils to (green) Jack, lack of panic to Guppy, and gets fed soup by faun!Gil.
    * Murphy talks with Sara about family, language, and windows (with whitetext of a nonbreaky kind).
    * (green) Jack and (not_so_young) David on the perils of loving mortals.
    * Xander tries to bring up sex again, but Andrew just wants to steal his cupcake. They flirt chat about Muppets and most certainly do not kiss.
    * Large and Mel share woes about their respective best friends, including Raph's relationship with Death and What Raph Did to Mike, before forming an officialish Ex-Turtle Best Friend Alliance. Xander and Mel have a brief chat about Erin. Bigby gets Mel to bear her soul to him again, this time about what to do when she's unBound. Drusilla and Mel meet and talk about souled vampires and Mel's city.
    * Mouse talks about being fictional with Andrew Largeman, has impressive werewolf-related woe with Shelley (in which she finally breaks), and meets/discusses the Matrix with KARR.
    * Guppy talks to Behrooz about his sudden change of body, and magic in general.
    * Ray is met out front by a ghostly Guppy, but can offer no real assistance or enlightenment. Ray is also met by Michael Knight, and they talk about their custom cars before hauling the equipment Ray promised into the bar. And Tim Hunter comes out to say hi, compliment the car, and let Ray know about his new JSA membership before giving Ray the go-ahead to take Ecto behind the bar by driving on through.
    * Tim gets questioned by Miss Edith and might or might not be able to help Guppy.
    * Tony fesses up to KARR that he screwed up bigtime.
    * Grissom meets a cricket stealing mouse who very kindly gives him cookies and confusion. (green) Jack comes by and succeeds in astonishing him in many, many ways.
A piano-playing Faith meets Brian Gamble; Charlie's distressed by her piano-playing; catches up with Ace; and warns Meg never to trust Anthy's information.
    * Behrooz is resentful towards his mother; Dina is shocked.

    The Hellfly Plot:
    * Fenrir's visited by the hellfly.
    * Gavroche gets a visit from Penny; the hellfly visits him and changes him measurably.
    * While Xander makes nice, the hellfly visits Bill and Ted.
    * Next, a fly-bitten Salzella befriends Bill.
    * One bad hellfly leaves Guppy a ghost of his former self.
    * And now Charlie's lost his music.
    * Niall's next. No more wolf. Ouch.
    * Tag, Petunia

    Out of Milliways:
    * Garion and Ce'Nedra in the morning.
    * Crowley's home again, and there is smut.
    * Nick and Alex, upstairs.
    * Ray and Prospero go to New York (slowtimed).

    Back Room:
    * The New York Times Literary Map.
    * A new meme from Svava-mun.
    * Guppy is a ghost. It can't be fixed.
    * How to deal with Gil as a faun.
    * Summary: Tony's bartending threadzilla! Thank you, [info]abpo.

    Mid-Day in Milliways!
    In the Bar:
    * Barry and Clarice talk about the Joker, Hannibal and love. Then Clarice makes the unwise decision of buying Tony a drink, but quickly realizes her mistake; there is awkwardness and Tony leaves. Andrew comes over and is briefed about the Joker situation; he tells Clarice that he trusts her more than Security, which gives the mun fuzzy feelings. Probably Clarice, too. Post-Tony, Michelle comes by and talks to Clarice about 24-troubles.. (Slowtimed.)

    * Chip and Gamble "talk" for a while. Iris appears and she and Gamble talk about current relationships.

    * Ghost meets Iris and Rachel, whom he passes ketchup to.

    * Jaina meets Audrey, and the two of them chat about siblings, jobs, and relationships. And she writes a letter to Jag

    * Michelle and Audrey have an awkward conversation, in which Tony's mental state is questioned (and his canon girlfriend mentioned, with great *headdesking* from the muns).

    * Andrew posts to the notice board. He's leaving soon, and Meg, Tim, and Hawkins say their pre-emptive goodbyes. Also, Barry writes a reply note.

    * Kitty Pryde is babysitting. For Delirium. And she's talking to Rachel. WITH THEIR BRAINS.

    * The Triplets have hard candy and bunny pelt slingshots. Guess who gets whacked. If you guessed Xander, you get a prize! Barrel and Ed discuss home and Barrel almost cries.

    * And let there be George. George discusses hair and clothing color with Thom and has awkwardness with Alanna.

    * That piece of candy was NOT FUCKING AROUND. Triplets attack Anthy in her own thread. Cuthbert nearly has a showdown with the Triplets. Clearly, there will be revenge.

    * Zoe clearly doesn't get it yet. But that's ok. There's always the possibility of squishing, courtesy The Endless. (Why is Kitty still babysitting, is what I'd like ta know.. Ed and Zoe discuss the Bar being nice and a She.

    * Yrael. With a Ring. I'm not going to pretend I understand this post. He and Hannibal Lecter plot to not let Svava kill herself.

    * Alanna and Peter re-enter Milliways from Tortall.

    * Massive Post, in which Bonnie brings Kitt downstairs, ready for the 'neurosurgery' to come. She gives him over to Karr's care while she begins readying Baby for the ordeal. Ray and Michael arrive, with laptop and generator in tow, and soon enough, there is a table, a chair, a generator, coffee, and a car prepping the laptop for use. Ray and Michael fuel the generator up and hook up the cables while Karr reformats the Windows machine, and soon, there are two cars instead of one. The two of them are hooked up, and two transfers begin - Kitt's memory to Karr, and Kitt's coding to the laptop. Ray quietly departs as the quiet-but-tense stage begins, and Michael takes a seat in Kitt's cabin and begins saying the rosary for his partner. Asar-Suti enters soon after and sets up his layer of wards, along with a static-free shield. An odd magic enters him as he gives Kitt encouragement, but it seems to help. In the end, Bonnie is heavily into AI code, and Kitt and Michael reach a decision that speaking through print is better than not speaking at all. And all in one massive comment thread too.

    * Asmodean does not eat the chipmouse. owie.

    * Faith and Ace discuss stealing horses. Then Faith asks Susan for a stall in the stables, but DON'T ANYONE TELL ALEX ABOUT IT. It's a seekrit.

    * Velma meets Ghostbuster Ray and teeny-talker Asmodean. Both of these are slow-timed.

    * So an owl flies in a Bar at the end of the Universe with two letters. One to Bernard and Tonks, and the other to Bigby. Both got replies. *fears for Gavroche*

    * Cuthbert and: Susan. Cuthbert's been practicing *nudge nudge* An Ace without explosions is like a day without sunshine. Cuthbert's disturbed, Meg's disturbed, I'm disturbed...

    * Babies make men swoon. It's a scientific fact. Two Kings of Narnia and a Little Baby. Ivy is being taught to read by Ray. and Ray has already won Caspian's goodwill by this. Atreyu can't imagine an engorged pumpkin boat.

    * Bernard's in the bar before noon! Snow and Bernard discuss Snow's honeymoon and Voldemort in taffeta. Ray has an up-to-date copy of Spates. Ivy does not need special accomodations, as she knows how many steps it takes to get downstairs and to the bar without hurting herself. And it's business as usual with Flash. He fills Bernard in on all the whacky stuff that's been going down. And They Shall Call Him Blue-Jay, for THE BITER DEEMS THIS. Jack, who is not 24 Jack, wishes to throw a mid-summer's eve party. He may.

    * Peter Venkman, shrink to the 24 gang.Michelle wonders why in the name of all things good Tony let Dina go.

    * Dr. Raymond Stantz-zilla, in which someone has switched his slippers for the Cthulhu-head slippers again. First Up: Venkman. There's some discussion of recent goings-on, and Ray tells him about how Ecto's going to get some upgrades from the Knight Industries folks. Then they talk about the incidents with Guppy and Eska and other weird transformations going around, and of Del and how cosmically powerful beings wind up kin to humans. (Answer: "We don't want to know.") Finally, the topic turns back to Venkman's case of erupting psychic abilities and how to deal with them, and while Pete seems okay with the thought of going to Westchester for training, there's still Much Foreboding in the air. Which Ray fails to notice since the man's about as observant as a brick sometimes. Next Up: Ivy. She's memorized most of the Braille alphabet, while Ray only got as far as 'M'. There is talk of niceness and the Golden Rule, and of being busy, and then of the urban monstrosity that is New York City. And lastly, Barry. We're right back to the weird transforms, particularly Eska's. There is talk of Andrew, and of Meg, and of Venkman's stressing out over his new situation. Ray admits to a certain measure of jealousy over Pete's abilities, but also to the fact that he doesn't like that part of himself at all, and asks Flash to smack him if he starts being a jerk about it.

    * Sara is celebrating an anniversary she would dearly love to forget. Barry gives comfort, love, and ample distraction.

    * Ivy and Sabin Flirt mercilessly. And discuss birds.

    * WOOBIE IN BAR! Andrew meets Miss Susan, and they have a rather testy conversation about the short-sightedness of the Endless. He also meets Michelle, and they have a pleasant conversation about why everyone is crazy, but Milliways is good.

    * A King of Narnia is baby-sitting. Susan Sto Helit is relatively pleased to find out what's been happening with Derry.

    Out of Milliways:
    * Alanna and Peter in Tortall, Part the Second.

    * last night: Susan meets Griffin, properly. And makes him come the hell inside.

    * somewhere in the Solar System, day 1: Spike and Beth.

    * OOM: Lakeside. Millitimed to today, some slowtime still in progress. Summary: If immortals breath, they can drown if they can't swim. Archie had taken Alanna's advice and was looking for Svava for a picnic, and he saves her.

    * Death Eaters in London Below: Everything begins sometime Saturday afternoon with Tom and the Marquis in London Below. The Marquis tells Tom that wizards in masks have been causing trouble. Tom hurries home to Door to tell her he must deal with them himself. Deal with them, he does. He returns home again, very conflicted and strangely (in his eyes) not evil. Door accepts him with open arms, and he has character development liek whoa. There is also slow timed schmoop and smut.(Due to other plot and circumstances beyond our control, we needed to post this tonight so there was continuity; the thread would've been finished otherwise.). Speaking of other plot: After the hellfly addled Gavroche, he lost his memories and confronted Tom, he ran away from the House of Arch.

    Back Room:
    * She who was formerly shelley vetinari on AIM is now amyberries

    * Lynette haikus her woes.

    * A Challenge! Try and incorporate a nursery rhyme (including Dr. Seuss) in an entrance post in the bar. Get a prize!

    * Here be Matrix-inspired Milliways icons.

Sharpe meets Jason, Meg and Faith, and gets an offer from Kitty that he can watch Derry for a day
Chase gets rather thoroughly sloshed and vents drunkenly to Ryan and Nita
Bernard talks to Edmund, Lilly and Kitty. Probably plotful
Plot post: the espresso demon, and the Hellfly. Also, Asar-Suti talks to Guppy about fruit and games
Kitty talks to Lilly about her death, and doing what you have to, even if you don't want to. There is general Lilly-Kitty-Derry cute. Asar-Suti stops by, and, after being assured Del probably won't pop in and hand him a baby to take care of, discusses homosexual relationships in literature with Kitty. Xander shows up, and they talk about Derry being her mother's daughter. The convo changes to Del, and Changes. They decide to Quest, after Kitty points out that the logical thing to do would be to ask one of her siblings if they know what's going on. Morpheus is the lucky contestant. Kitty repeatedly tells Xander to be POLITE when he asks, and then decides to go with him. Gavroche shows up and eyes the baby
In a surprising turn of events, Tony and Behrooz have a civil, and dare it be said, cute conversation! Behrooz asks to see his mother, then tells Tony what might be the cause of his mother's ire. Tony is sympathetic to Behrooz's plight and offers food and fatherly advice. The thread ends with Tony and Behrooz eating ice cream sundaes and leaving in good humor. Muns die of cute

    Afternoon:

Self-summarized: (These people are my heros.)
    Crowleyzilla, summarized here by [info]indy_go.
Hermione and Door talk about Tom Riddle; Door and Val hang out, eat chocolate, talk about London Below, and are silly; Door and Meg finally meet, talk about evil clowns, and are visited by mime!Puck, who Door doesn't like much; Door and Xander are couch potatoes and watch Seinfeld and Buffy, which is slowtimed.
Hermione is given books by Asar-Suti, congradulates Val on her pregnancy, has an impromptu date with James which is interrupted by a vaguely threatening Biff (slowtimed), offers to find booktapes for Atreyu, and discusses magic and ghosts and the normalicy of wizarding schools with Ray.
In which it is discovered that Kitt has come to Milliways specifically to see Bonnie thanks to old programming being triggered: when injured, find his tech. A defragmented virus has become active in his memory, and has been affecting both car and human forms. Bonnie discovers this from researching newspapers (courtesy of Bar) for the towns that Kitt and Michael were in when he became a car. Eight, at least, police mainframes crashed. Ray came over by this point and joined the conversation, recieving eighteen
twenty-gigabyte discs of magnetic polymer for his trouble and volunteering of bringing a laptop for Bonnie to fix Kitt with. By the end, Kitt is asleep on Karr's hood, and Bonnie declares that, if she could bake, she'd make Ray something.

Brian tells Molly about his former occupation, which leads her to recommend him to Tim as possible Security.
River decides Griffin looks better in red. Long summary--Um. Forthcoming?
    Drunkness and Singing.
Ed and Duo talk about, err. Well, they start out friendly-like, then they call each other names, then Ed pours soup over Duo's head. I think it's a happy ending?
Lecter and Rachel talk about his wooing Delirium, and Asar-Suti first wanted to plant him, but once he spoke decided not to spoil Gil's day by taking away his sous-chef.
Mel shows off her 1337 thieving skillz to an impressed Meg.
Mel catches up on Indy's recent news. There's banter about slinky and suite shenanigans, and more sober conversation about family, getting unbound and larceny. Meg and Indy compare recent awkward situations with future Andrew and Helen. Warren's thingums are trusted before Indy tries to reassure her about Andrew being able to return. Finally Indy recruits her as the final member of the crack party planning team.
In which Bonnie talks to Hannibal Lecter, Mel Fray, and Asar-Suti about setting up a security zone so she can work on Kitt - Karr was threatened by some woman who decided killing her AI was a good idea, after all, and she wasn't going to let that happen. In the end, she has a rather frightening-looking plant volunteer for guard duty, a note left for Tim, and magical wards offered by the small, purple god.
Eris catches up with Indy, meets Stampy, and is invited to Naked Thursdays. She also has rather more catching up to do with Puck, as it's been about a century since they've run into each other; Eris-Puck is slowtimed.
Eska and Sooty talk ambient magic, Puck is Puckish
In which, after calling Michael (see link) to tell him about Kitt's virus, Bonnie and Michael arrange for him to come to Milliways to be lightyears closer to his partner while he paces uselessly in the multiuniversal version of a hospital waiting room. Michael arrives and is immediately taken in by the observation window, and then amazed by Bar. After discussing possibilities and worries, Kitt and Michael eventually arrive at the agreement that, no matter how it comes out, they're still stuck together.
    Don't worry - that conclusion's a good one.

Cole gets attacked by Heather who misakes him for the demon he once was.
Svava questions Serena about Max's absence, and Serena and Rachel have a less-than-upbeat conversation.
Black is not Aziraphael's color. Purple might be.
    Xander is a tattletale.
Moiraine put it best: "Lessons, threats, trust, and betrayal." Plus, somehow basements are metaphors for ass-whoopings.
Both Clarice and Tim have security-type updates for Bernard.
Rachel and Brian swap family stories.
Spike and Moiraine discuss poetry and philosophy, getting to know about Anthy's past appears to be a bit like pulling teeth, and Spike takes Beth on a little field trip.
Kingsley discusses magic with Tim, learns Sirius was once the barman from Moiraine, and swaps general pleasantries with Molly.
Moiraine speaks to Anthy about making babies immortal.

Millichannel for Saturday, June 4th [Jun. 5th, 2005|08:32 am]

    [info]henry_jones_jr
Weather: raining Hellflies and brimstone, interspersed with rays of Jack the Green.

Morning threads by [info]femme_wizard; evening by [info]henry_jones_jr. Thanks to all self-summarizers. Comment with anything we missed, or obviously got the wrong end of the stick about.

    Hellfly!

    >>> The coffee machine breaks the Hellfly jar.
    >>> The Fly hits Gil first, turning him into a faun. Scared, he runs off outside, where Asar-Suti finds him, but fails to bring him back. Green Jack, however, finds and reassures him.
    >>> Eska is Bound. She's tells Prospero what that means and they discuss theories about it, when they're interrupted by the Hellfly. Eska flees upstairs, before re-emerging as a man. Tiki and Eska think it was the Queen, or maybe Puck, and Tiki fails to turn Eska back. Tim also fails to change her back, and tells her it was probably the Landlord's doing. She gets annoyed and drunk at Guppy. Because Scumble will solve everything.
    >>> And then it hits Asar-Suti, in the library who comes downstairs and is all intuitive and empathetic at Guppy, Tiki, and Jack. Later that night, Gil sleeps on the floor in their room.
    >>> Before breakfast, Eska and Asar-Suti compare theories as to what happened.

    Plot

    >>> David's feeling bad about killing the vampires that hurt Nick. Really bad. But Jack helps him feel better.
    >>> Tony asks Tim to let Dina out of the cells.
    >>> Charles works out how to pay his tab.
    >>> "What happened to Lucifer?" "A BARMAN hit him inna FACE!"
    >>> Crowley inna cells, being punished for Soph's inability to self-summarize. He talks unicorns and demons Santas with Faith and Shawshank Redemption and other fillums with Aziraphael, before being adorable with him. Tonks feels guilty, and tells him about Azkaban. Crowley worries at Tonks and tells her about his days in the circus, his freaky weird double jointed body, and the naughty things he got up to on the Ark. Tonks and Aziraphael talk Aurory brainyness, pop culture, real culture and are sweet. Susan talks cells, violence in self defense, Angels, and just unbelievable sweetness with Aziraphael, then worries at Crowley, tells him about River, and is sweet at him. Then Bernard lets him out.
    >>> Bonnie talks with Tim about Kitt and Karr. They decide to put them both in the cells for safety. She also geeks talks with Ray about the virus situation, as well as Tony. More details are filled in later when Karr runs into Bonnie and Michelle. But not literally, because that would mean great pain. Michael feeds Kitt, and reassures him as much as is humanly possible.
    >>> Cuthbert informs Simon about River's attack on the invisible man. Tim gets filled in as well. Roland and Cuthbert discuss River and the attack in great depth. There's a demon monkey inna box as well.
    >>> Susan Delgado is questioned by Faith about the invisible man attack (slowtime). So is Cuthbert.
    >>> Daniel in the Gallery, and then an unexpected visit.

    Watch This Space

    >>> Faith posts a note up in the Security office about Barty, Bernard and her own temper. She also tells Mel all about the recent woe, namely Nick being tortured and Barty and legilimens.
    >>> Angua tells Carrot about biting Shelley
    >>> Ace and Mel are planning a trip to London. And possibly the Louvre. Um. Those two are a bad influence on each other.
    >>> LaCroix, Nick, Faith. Awkwardness, squabbles, um. Stuff.
    >>> Lilly's heading home. Also, she loves Tequila (what's not to love?)
    >>> Kitty wants to be Bernard when she grows up. Be afraid. They also talk about family, X-Men and stories.
    >>> Meg explains to Andrew exactly why she fled Warren and Isabel's wedding, with bonus woe and schmoop. Tim agrees to build a distress signal thingum for Andrew in case Warren's thingum doesn't work.
    >>> Sleep deprived Indy is oblivious to Delia's accounting skills, and lets Kitty assume the role before much awkwardness ensues over the misinterpreted tip-off from Claire.
    >>> Indy's proposed party planning company violates the no business rule. Bernard won't tell Indy about his nickname. No one's quite sure whose drinks are on which tab.
    >>> Ray's heading out. But he's got time to be fanboyed by Ryan. And there's always time for some novella-style threading with Prospero before he's invited along. As far as I can figure there was a gamecock, some ethereal sludge, and peppermint soap. Typical night out for the boys then.
    >>> Roland advises Lilly to take Pete with her when she returns home. She talks to Pete about having to go back, and he gets talked into a girl's night before she goes.
    >>> Susan Pevensie finds out about Derry from Kitty and the shopping trip is planned.
    >>> After Dina is released from the cells, Behrooz takes her back up to their room. They talk briefly about his kidnapping before she goes to sleep. Later, Tony checks up on Behrooz. Michelle is told by Tony that Dina is out of the cells, and she's not happy. Realizing what he has done, Tony goes out to angst by the lake and is confronted by Michelle.
    >>> The return of Destruction of the Endless. Meeting a pyro of his very own and much respect from Tim. He talks to Dream about Delerium's absence. No glib remark here. Very Good Stuff.
    >>> Dream and Kitty discuss Delerium's absence, while Dream has nice moments with his favorite human relation. That's Derry, in case you were wondering. Just click the link, dammit.
    >>> Charlie and voluntarily tutu'd Claire have another fight in New Orleans, but Sawyer calms her down.
    >>> Anthy helpfully tells Meg about the whole stabbing thing last night. Only... Anthy-style. There is vile misleading involved.

    Love n' Romance

    >>> Tom and Door
    >>> Duo and Ed. So. Very. Cute. Later the same pairing have a playfight of sorts but it all ends rather somberly.
    >>> Tonks has trouble believing Bernard's dumb enough to hit Lucifer inna face. They make up though. Oh yes they do...
    >>> Penny is upset that she kissed Nathan, so Largeman gives her friend-schmoop.
    >>> Wally and Violet are super cute with love letters, tickling and stuff.
    >>> Fleur and Bill are absolutely, beautifully, tiny texty, in love.
    >>> Moiraine comes home to Dream.

    Worth a Look

    >>> Po meets Joshua
    >>> Green Jack draws Faith. Then freaks her out with too much knowledge of her mother. But he continues to draw and is sweet at her. She promises to watch his Bluebells for him. Um... literally.
    >>> Jack looks like Carl. What a good excuse for him to meet Van Helsing.
    >>> Largeman has music. Music is a good safe conversation topic for him and the girl who looks like Sam Kitty, and leads into more topics like dancing and weddings.
    >>> Andrew and Asmodean almost meet, but then don't.
    >>> Tim and Mel talk security. And don't talk about things that might make cause violence between them.
    >>> Audrey leaves an angsty note for Eddie.
    >>> Bernard and Faith catch up on Nick, Lucifer, families, and hos in the Buffyverse santa is a demon who flies on reindeers and disembowls children.
    >>> Bernard and Meg on a possible sexual harrassment rule, Xander and Meg's family, demon bunnies as pets, and the weirdness of opera,
    >>> Bernard and Susan catch up on things, then talk horses and Fleur. Yes, there's a link there somewhere.
    >>> Cuthbert thinks it's a good idea to tell people Faith's afraid of horses.
    >>> Ryan witha chair hasn't met many people, but he has met Meg, obviously. Pillow forts and legendary other Ghostbusters.
    >>> Meg meets Gamble, who is Not Such A Jackass Now He Is Dead, honestly; talks with Asmodean and listens to some music before getting in a long and convoluted discussion on various forms of humor. She apologizes to Charles for her conduct on Pirate Night and discusses dead people some more, in a thoroughly unprejudiced way, of course
    >>> Fleur gets invited to dinner by Bernard, platonically. Great ex-banter. Kitty isn't sure what Fleur is Queen of, but it's probably worth fearing.
    >>> Jaina gets broomstick flying lessons from Anakin by the lake.
    >>> Simon talks with Jayne on Serenity.
    >>> Susan Delgado gets to hold Derry, courtesy of Edmund (slowtime).
    >>> Kitty and Faith discuss walking babies up and down halls at three am, and Nick, as well as grammar. Ray asks about possibly helping Peter with his newfound mad skillz. Kitty gives Meg flipflops. Val is talked about. Then Kitty snaps at Destruction, gives him coffee and receives an apology. *snicker*
    >>> Roland has a mysteriously rustling box with a ChuChu inside, reportedly. He has a zilla in which he meets Erin, and Aziraphael. There's Hamster Hughie and the Gooey Kablooie within three comments. That was enough for me, but the fun continues with lots of Angel foot in Angel mouth. Brilliant. Fleur pokes at the thing in the box, and Susan Delgado is also curious, while discovering River's whereabouts (slowtimed).
    >>> Susan Pevensie talks war, weaponry and Aslan with Faith (slowtimed); Edmund introduces Derry to a very surprised Susan (slow-timed); Peter and Susan talk about happiness and the lack thereof.
    >>> Lilly talks to Susan Pevensie about life, death and scaring Pete. Lilly and Roger meet and have an instantly honest, serious, and edge-of-breaky conversation (slowtimed).
    >>> Jedi's thread together as Jacen talks to Jaina and Anakin.
    >>> Andrew talks to bandana'd Faith about Nick. (not banana'd Faith, cos that just doesn't make sense)
    >>> Pete and Tony talk about date-related Chloe awkwardness.
    >>> The triplets wreak their profit-related mayhem with a bunny inna bag. They torture visit with Grissom, Bill, and Indy. Candy, grasshoppers and shoelaces are forthcoming.
    >>> Jenni and Duo discuss the squid-napping with cephalopod related-confusion.
    >>> Nita and Michelle catch each other up and Nita and Duo blink at each other. A lot.
    >>> Archie and Jason talk about Svava and the Valkyrie goodness that goes with that subject.
    >>> Anthy firmly ignores any hypothetically existent rustling boxes in Roland's possession, and discusses stomping, dinosaurs, and the drinkability of seawater with a sleep deprived slightly crazy Indy.
    >>> Dream meets a cautious Andrew Largeman and an inquisitive Atreyu. Of course, he doesn't meet them. They knew each other all along. Or something.
    >>> Andrew Largeman does some purposely-obtuse soul-searching.

    Millitimed to a past day

    >>> Early last week: Alanna and Peter in Tortall (volume 1). Peter masters horseback riding and meets the Goddess, plus requisite sappy Thom stuff. A fine read!
    >>> Monday, 31st May: Daniel, Moiraine, and Faith in the real world.
    >>> Thursday, 3rd June: After Tom discovers that Gavroche witnessed the Barty episode and is shaken, he takes the boy home and they talk.

    Back Room

    >>> Milliways invades people's mun journals.
    >>> Hellfly muns will be contacted as their turn comes up.
    >>> Meg is a goddess and summarizes Crowleyosity
    >>> Please to not turn Eska into a girl, kthxbye.
    >>> Details about Asar Suti's changes in the Hellfly plot
    >>> Lilly-mun creates insta-plot™ to get some real-life work done.

    *NEW* Picks of the Day
    >>> Devil gets a fist inna face (Bernard-Lucifer)
    >>> Anime cute (Duo-Ed)
    >>> Still not my girlfriend (Largeman-Kitty)
    >>> Calming the faun (Jack-Gil)
    >>> Friend-schmoop (Penny-Largeman)
    >>> The pyro's mine (Destruction-Ace)
    >>> Revenge of the tiny text (Fleur-Bill)
    >>> Moonlighting (Alanna-Peter)
    >>> Hamster Hughie and the Gooey Kablooie (Roland-Aziraphael)
    >>> If Anthy and Meg had AIM (Anthy-Meg)

Millichannel for Tuesday, May 31st. [Jun. 2nd, 2005|10:46 am]

    [info]blue_ajah
Morning by Aspen; evening by Hat.

    Morning Millichannel
    Plot:
    * Raph is in a Good Mood. He talks to Penny, to Mel about hero-type-stuff and then Mike, with great confusion, and finally to Xander -- who tells him about his and Mike's relationship. So much for the good mood. Bar sends Raph off to talk to Bernard, afterwards.
    * Edmund is in the bar with a baby Derry, left in his care unexpectedly by Del. For an unknown length of time. Um. Good luck, Edmund. Adam, Doyle, Richard, and Lilly are all sympathetic to varying degrees.
    * Cartoon!Ray is met, in order, by the Flash, Ivy, and Peter Venkman. Promptly mistaken for the original by all three, there is confusion in each thread before matters settle out a bit. Flash updates Ray on what his original self did at Milliways; Ray reveals that they're making a movie in his home world, and the fact that the movie is fiction where Barry comes from is finally out in the open. Ivy gets confused by the existence of two different people with Ray's color, but Ray explains it to her and gets complimented for it. And Peter catches on to the multiplicity problem very quickly indeed, but promptly comes down with a case of the willies as Ray explains about the movie being produced in his world, and the actors involved. Self-summarized by [info]gone_byebye, all praise and thanks.
    * Fleur and Ophelia break up, for great WOE. Fleur also talks with Don and Raph, with much less woe.
    * Max plus Serena = a Ritual, which starts in the bar and then moves to Serena's room. A portal is involved, also great danger, it seems, in this exploration of time and dimensions.
    * Ryan talks to Jack about their investigation and what's been happening in the bar, Ryan and Elaine have small talk, play cards and are generally schmoopy then Ryan and a drunk!Audrey have a rather random conversation that ends with him helping her to her room. Self-summarized by [info]_chappy_, all praise and thanks.

    Watch this Space:
    * Peter Venkman's still treating people. He meets Guppy, and relate over the misery that is being Bound. Suggests about a Milliways Medical staff. Also sees Michelle again. Self-summarized by [info]doc_venkman, all praise and thanks.
    * Sara Sidle's asleep in the bar. Barry wakes her, for great cute. Ace wakes her as well, later, for teasing and less cute as Sara reacts badly to the idea that she and Barry might be permanentish.
    * Jason talks with Svava about Archie, Max, Serena, and portals.
    * Guppy meets Audie and is worried over by Asar-Suti.

    Also of Interest:
    * Garion introduces Ivy to chocolate-covered strawberries.
    * Lilly and Ace discover that Lilly has never blown anything up, and set off to remedy this travesty immediately. Lilly meets Barry and chats about psycho harpists, talks to Kitty about weddings and receives a jug of Better Than Babies, and talks to Pete about scones - life, basically. They're still talking. Self-summarized by [info]awesome_lilly, all praise and thanks.
    * Don Lockwood meets Ray Stantz and Meg Giry.
    * Marrow meets Sabin and talks with Asmodean about music.
    * Max and Atton in a discussion of sparkly pink clothing and Jedi things.

    Out of Milliways:
    * Ray deals with lingering Peter issues in the animated continuum.
    * Lucifer and Thom. Together.
    * Peter Pevensie and Lilly make up, out by the lake.
    * Claire and Sawyer after the pirate party, Millitimed. Adultish.
    * Del in her realm without Derry. Woe. Open to visitors.

    The Back Room
    * Andrew Largeman is broken. Summarized fully here by [info]in_it, all praise and thanks.
    * Garion has a canonical Milliways entrance.
    * Icons for Pseudolus.
    * Ophelia's flowers are dead.

    Evening Millichannel
    * Midday at Milliways begins with Drusilla confusing Iris.
    * Jaina apologizes to Sawyer and the two of them discuss blue milk before. They then go to the bar, so Jaina can introduce Sawyer to Jag.
    * Helen meets Gorlim the Unhappy and chats with Iris.
    * And it's a small bar after all, as Gorlim meets Iris.
    * Nick is back, if more than slightly battered, with Faith, Connor, David, and Alex.
    * Zeke and Beth schmoop and talk baby names and futures.
    * Tiki is very worried about Eska.
    * A shaken Faith tells Meg, Edmund and Ace about what happened to Nick.
    * Sawyer meets Young!Charlie.
    * Iris compliments Meg on the party.
    * Young Charlie talks to Bethany about older Charlie.
    * And Biff meets Bethany and they talk Bible Talk. After a fashion.
    * River seems to know Ophelia's the one bleeding. She's a might unnerving, that kid.
    * Lysistrata needs a room.
    * Andrew (the blonde one) comforts Faith and gets ready for Warren's wedding.
    * Anakin talks to Jaina about avoiding dark paths, is fanboyed at by Tony, and has a bit of a geek-out with Ray.
    * Mal plays Tall Card with Roland and later Svava and chats with Zoe.
    * Iris and Asmodean talk about his recent duel, Iris plays a song, and is generally too cheerful for her mun's liking.
    * Val is back, and is welcomed by Jaina, Biff, Smeagol, and Angel.
    * Ray provides a beautiful summary: Having returned from the animated continuum, Ray is greeted by Kitt. They discuss gemstone superstitions, lasers, college, and Kitt's eventual retirement plan.
    * Shortly thereafter, Ray also encounters Tim Hunter and explains what's just happened to him. They discuss Dan Aykroyd, and then Tim tries to cadge a pair of proton packs out of Ray. Eventually Ray points out that if Tim wants a black hole so bad, all he needs is a collapsing sun...
    * Yrael takes Chur on a trip through the Ninth Precinct and into his world.
    * Duo gets a bit of magical advice from Tim. And briefly questioned by Wolf.
    * Asmodean talks to Jack and Miss Frizzle and is... well. Lilly-ed. And briefly questioned by Wolf.
    * Claire breaks the news to Helen that Indy isn't available, she convinces Jaina to apologize to Sawyer, and then is rescued by Sawyer when the Joker and Iris dance on her table. Lastly, Wolf drops by looking for Andrew.
    * Atreyu is Bound, and meets Tim and Charles, who, being the Beast, is rather comforting in his nonhumanity.
    * Joker sings his way into the bar and schmoops with Iris. He also frustrates Puck. Which was cool.
    * Lilly has a... concoction.
    * Ace summarizes herself: Lilly and Ace head off to the far side of the lake, where they meet up with Alain before beginning to blow poor defenceless stuffed creatures to tiny bits. (slowtimed). Bebe!Charlie stops them before they get out the door, however, for a brief conversation on exorcising childhood demons. Poor bebe!Charlie. Claire glomps Ace with news of Sawyer's confession, and the conversation eventually turns to astrology. Wolf also wanders by, looking for Andrew Largeman. Alas, neither of the girls have seen him.
    * Jag is another talented self-summarizer: Val notices the blue milk, and administers a big dose of Millicanon. Wolf stops by to ask after Largeman, with no luck. Finally, Jaina brings Sawyer over, and the three of them talk. Jag is rather amused at it all, Sawyer might be slightly jealous, and Jaina facepalms. After Sawyer runs off there is Who's The Better Pilot banter, then the two of them head upstairs for the night.
    * Raph has misplaced Andrew. No, the other one. Andrew Largeman. Wolf offers to help look for him, Indy just keeps bringing up things Raph would rather not hear about, and Katou is... well, off to scrounge for change in the sofa cushions.
    * Lucy's three-sentence post garners her seventy-six comments. She discusses Derry and Adam and relationships with Edmund. Wolf drops by to ask about Andrew.
    * Dionysus is asked about Andrew as well, before taking Penny off to play with nymphs so she forgets her troubles.
    * Young Charlie leaves the bar and a note for Claire.
    * Anthy slowtimes and summarizes! Wolf comes by looking for Andrew Largeman; Anthy hasn't seen him. Svava tells Anthy about Asgard and Yggdrasil and other things with pretty names. (Slowtimed.) Spike and Anthy have a relaxed chat about summer, stories, and talents, among other things. (Slowtimed.) And Utena brings Anthy cake, and they dance around awkwardness and confusion. I pun dreadfully. (Also slowtimed. *sees a pattern*)
    * Astareal breaks 'Nysus and Asmodean. Silently.
    * Prospero. Puck. I hear Rumblings.
    * After all that asking, Wolf couldn't hear anything much about Andrew.
    * Cynric and Suti talk libraries.
    * Eska takes time out of her Borrowing to reply to a note from Suti.
    * Alex talks to Edmund about horses, bad memories and children; Adam about singing and showtunes, and Richard about cats. And all three make him eat.

    OOM
    * Bernard sends a letter to Fleur.
    * And then writes to Bill, on the same issue.
    * WarrenIsabelWedding! ETA: Actual ceremony Millitimed to Wednesday.
    * Andrew confronts Xander in his room about him and Mike-- more to the point, telling Raph about him and Mike. Xander, as you can imagine, is not thrilled.
    * With 36 hours left on the clock, Kitty and Indy arrive in New York to set up for Warren and Isabel's wedding. But... no rabbi! No-one told them it was non-denominational, or that there was already a Justice of the Peace booked. A mad-cap chase around Manhattan ensues, in which a rabbi is *ahem* found and *ahem* persuaded to officiate. And even more doom awaits when they get him back to the wedding site. Most fun ever!
    * David and Michelle find Behrooz, and House treats his injuries. David realizes Behrooz's captor is the "Miranda" who tried to assassinate him. House gives Behrooz Vicodin for the pain and David stays with him after he goes to sleep.
    * Alex is... not dealing so well.
    * Bernard and the OOM Summary of So Much Happened.
    * Just after the big DT/FF palaver, Zoe and Wash discuss the gunslingers. And, um, that whole Nyarlothotep and Wash having waking nightmares about Niska and spending five days in the cells thing. Er. But, um, there's also some talk of plastic dinosaurs and fake mustaches in there!

    More dreams in #318.

    Courtesy Becca:

    Plots and Schemes:
Ray canonpunctures poor Venkman. If you can't trust your own canonmates to tell you you're not fictional, you can't trust anyone.
Faith fills Liam in on the Nickatastrophe. Later, she does the same for Charlie. Twice the Pace, twice the angst!
Faith directs a frantic (and highly incoherent) Blaise to Bernard. Who does his bit by directing Blaise to Ophelia's room.
Claire bartends liek wo. Summary here, and much love to Kat for doing it.
Michelle and Jack catch up on the fallout from all the recent 24woe. Jack and Driscoll do the same, despite a Driscoll-mun-on-strike.
Sara and Murphy are both having Bad Dreams o'Woe.
Blaise is Highly Freaked - and Yrael is actually quite unbelievably helpful. We can now add shock to the list of Blaise's troubles.
Guppy got angst. Like, planning-a-hunger-strike angst. Fortunately, Gil and the flamingo are there to help.
Hagrid and Barty? Very much not friends. The whole you-killed-two-of-my-comrades-in-arms thing might have something to do with that.
Asar-Suti talks to Bernard about the library, and oh by the way that fellow who offered him human sacrifice.
Pleased to welcome Adam-Felicia to the bartending staff!
Barty is Not Happy with Bernard interfering in his friendships. Bernard is just like, talk to the complaint box, yo. Except with more snark.
The rules, they are a-changin'! Joker won't find the loopholes quite so blatant anymore.
Hermione's building a library. For the Public Good. Knowledge should be free!
Asmodean gives Barty the idea to talk to the Dark One. Who else thinks this bodes Really Bad Things?
Tim fills Asar-Suti in on that weird green fellow who likes human sacrifice.
Eska's rather worried about he-who-should-not-be-named - no, not Voldemort, just Puck. Still not smart to shout his name all over the place, though.
Nick is blind and broked in his room six ways to Sunday. But he gets by, with a little help from his friends.
Shelley learns a little bit from Asmodean about her good old buddy Rhalen. Whether she believes him is another story.

    Friendly Chats:
Ivy and Sabin's chat moves from chocolate to GIANT CATACLYSMS O' WOE in the space of a first meeting.
Nothing cheers an irate ex-bridemaid up like a chat from our friendly neighborhood innuendomaster!
Sawyer thinks Jaina's boyfriend has a mild case of stiff-ass. Whatever the case may be, I'd say he's forefeited all right to complain.
Yes, Asar-Suti, Sawyer may be sex on legs - but off-limits sex on legs.
Shannon and Charlie's Younger Sibling Support Group goes quite well, until Shannon departs in a puff of snark.
Jaina and Hagrid go pumpkin' boatin'! For great orange and adorable. Caspian also gets pulled along - this is one thing they didn't have in Narnia.
Yes, Guppy, the little tiny pink flamingo is a dangerous terror waiting to be unleashed.
Hagrid meets Margolatta, for great comparison of fantasy worlds.
Bernard talks Kitty into giving Isabel a bill for the wedding planning - well, Kitty talks herself into it. Bernard smiles and nods and approves.
Barty and the not'cat get on rather unnervingly well.
Tony and Chris Chappelle talk about beatin' people up - er, martial arts.
Asmodean angsts at Chris. In tinytext!

    The Love Bug:
Barry comforts Sara after a dose of Phantom trauma.
Caspian and Ivy flatter each other in a way that can only be called flirting liek wo.
Ray also gets his share of Ivyflirting - especially after he offers to teach her Braille, in a moment of sheer awwwww.
Gil and Asar-Suti attempt to figure out the rest of the in-bar relationships, while schmooping incredibly with their own.
Raph knows that his brother is having mad gay sex with Xander the manwhore! There is much 'oh noing', and then much 'nothing to worry abouting', and then much flirting, and presumably much sex after.
Michelle and Tony have slightly worried schmoop.

    Crack Swiss-Cheesing our Brain:
Faith and Kitty have the anti-wedding thread of Explosionating Joy.
Warren and Isabel are going to have a - rather interesting surprise when they get back from their honeymoon . . .

    Afternoon:

Have you seen Smeagol's doggy? Shannon hasn't, nor has Ivy (for obvious reasons). But Smeagol makes another friend.
Eddie as Bartender, for Happy Hour. Lilly, Ace, Audrey, Roland, Alain, Bernard, Door. I know there's plot here. As much angst as there is, there has to be, right?
Brautigan and Book discuss DT stuff. I swear, this is strange stuff. Anyone other than me having read none of the books? Anyone? *sighs and considers buying 30k worth of Stephen King books just to catch up*
Wash gets to play with Tim's hoverboard recreation (slowtimed) Ace, Book, Faith, Kitty and Mal.
Ray's got girl troubles, and doesn't want Tim mucking about in her head. But he won't tell who, just in case.
Cynric meets Tigratron. Telepathy =/= radio.
Lilly and Yrael are cute. She hasn't seen Smeagol's puppy either. Roland is considering hyp-mo-tizing Meg, and Lilly wonders if hyp-mo-tization could help her know her killer. They then go to join Roland.
    Bernard's Angry Letters.
Snow White and Bigby's wedding. It actually happened a long time ago, in a Millichannel far, far away. But the RP began tonight, so I'll put it here.
Bernardzilla One: Roland, Anthy, Lilly, Sunny, Nita Tom and Ray.
Alain is planning a party at the Academy and Faith wants in. He meets Door, finally after having already met Ingress.
Nita and Asmodean talk. When he feels that she's hurting, he reaches out her to her mind to seal off the pain, and they live each other's lives in a split second.
Atreyu and Ivy meetand discuss coffee and trust. He also talks about coffee with Cynric, exchanging his coffee for Solindish Red. Luckdragons reign in their discussion.
Yrael is wakened by Cynric's staring at him, and they discuss his knowledge of the sekrit language of cats. It's cut short by Hannibal's appearance in the bar. Iris is exceedingly cute at him, and this, too is interrupted by Hannibal's appearance.
Summary: Lilly asks Roland and Alain to hypnotize her to see if she can remember who killed her; then Alain and Roland catch up on FF-DT news. Anthy covets Roland's milk carton with Utena on it, and ends up making a (temporary) trade: the milk carton for Chuchu. Repeat after me, kids: This Cannot End Well.
Heather is still having Nightmare problems. Iris is normal to her, though, which comes as a relief.
Hannibal Lecter returns. Clarice is mad at him for the events of the book Hannibal, but won't tell him because she doesn't want to give him ideas. Yrael and Svava help him celebrate freedom, and Iris and the 'good' Dr. meet. They discuss the infinite branching theory of reality.
Door provides sanctuary to Xander, while Yrael and she catch up on their friendship. Mr. Q and Jack continue to harry our poor not!cat.
OOC: Bigby-mun gives us a timeline (or a reasonably good guess at one) for recent Events.
Raguel and Columbia discuss her death, and love.
    Tim posts the rules changes.
Lysistrata is comforted by Penny and Ray. Ray assures her that yes, Athenians will continue to exist.
Alex is downstairs, away from Nick. Josiane is comforting,Thom tries to be but it takes more work. Faith is also comforting in a different way from the others.
Lysaer and Svava don't look at each other. Humphrey (The Good Magician) comes over and offers his services. Lysaer is still planning on killing Arithon.
Megzilla: Lilly, Anthy, Roland. All still awake in the middle of the night.
Asar-Suti and Cynric catch up on recent meetings and friends and the Library.
    A letter to Bernard.
Miss Susan is stared at by Griffin, who learns that yes, he's dead and not a ghost. Lovely thread.

    OOMs:
Nick, in his room, gets a lot of visitors. Charlie, Faith, Liam, Connor and Richard.
The 24 pups need help. Knowing this is the first stage to getting cured. Won't you help? 24ism is such a sad disease.
David gets Behrooz something to eat and Behrooz tells him about Rhalen. See, you don't need to torture people to get information!
Meg, after the wedding, needs Andrew. Happy co-incidence, he's there.
Nymphadora is finally told about the Demonic Bunny Lady Death gave Sunny ages ago.
Cuthbert and Susan talk about Alain and Jericho Hill. Millitimed, two days ago.
Edmund and Kitty, after the wedding.
Laddie leads the intrepid group of two humans and two ex-turtles on a daring rescue mission across the tri-state area, in search of the elusive Andrew Largeman. On the way they encounter exciting moving metal boxes, crazy ex- turtle driving, lots of social awkwardness and hindering cab drivers. They track down the missing boy and Raph persuades him to return home. But what doom will befall our heroes next? Guest starring: Merc and Gareth as Laddie the Wonder Dog!

    Monday, May 30th [Jun. 1st, 2005|07:10 pm]

    [info]fire_and_a_rose
Shelle's sick, I'm bored, so I just covered all of Monday, May 30th.

If I missed something, lemme know?  God knows I probably have.

    Inna Bar

Richard and Joshua serve breakfast.  And talk to Suti.

Petunia contemplates yarn.  And talks to Suti.

    Suti and Serena talk.

Xander hides from Sunny.  200 comments, no summary, bad Merc.  Bad Mir who does the exact same thing.  Ahem.  Adam.  Joker.  Wolf.  Not!Raph Andrew.  Sink?!

Wolf feeds pregnant ladies, Bethany and Virginia.  They torture him.

Indy and Mike bartend.  300 comments.  Summarize here by the lovely Gareth.

    Eska and Suti.

    Kingsley!  251 comments.

    Sara and Suti.

Young!Charlie!  Liam.  Not lying about the record contract!  Bunny!Garion.  I coo.

    Methos.  Sara.  Ebola.

Dawn and Xander.  Dawn and Wolf.  I shall call you Bacon Guy forever more, Wolf.

24 Plot thingy.  David and Michelle.  Dunno the canon or plot, but I'm sure it's important!

Aziraphael has Wilde.  Kitty makes him flail.  Bethany discusses tartan with him.  Tonks takes care of a part of her ka-tet.  Thom gets a lecture.  Silly Thom.

Nita talks to people.  Preening Puck.  Ron founds out his memory was erased.  Brian Gamble.

Ron by a lake.  Talks to Kitty, Kingsley, Angie.

    More 24.

    Alain and Zoe. DT/FF: OTC

Frankie's in the bar.  Plays with Xander.  No, not like that!  Snarks with Martin.  Talks to Sara.

Ivy hums.  And talks to Jack and KITT.

Grissom is in the bar and confused.

Iris talks to Gamble and Caspian.

Barty and Joker.  I fear.  Wolf's there too.

Molly talks to Gamble, Penny, and a not!Cat.

Mel.  Kingsley, Wolf, and Ace, too!

    Gavroche and Wolf.

Baldrick and Indy.  And young!Charlie.  Food!

Ace and Tim.  Happy couple.  Bran, slowtimed.

Shelley and Clarice.  And Joker.  And Wolf.

    Rachel and Gamble talk.

RAPH AND DEATH!!!!!!  Oh, and Tim.  And Smeagol.  But, yeah, RAPH/DEATH.

Anthy and Rachel.  Cakes are discussed.  And there's an Anthy-Meg thread, but...yeah.  Anthy-Meg.  Just go read.

    GIR.  Is.  GIR.

Simon is looking for a gunslinger.  He finds Roland.  Palaver talk.  Also Meg, who keeps her promise to Kitty and asks him to weigh her and monitor her.  Good ballerina.

Self-Summarizing is like masturbating.  It involves just you, and it ends in glee.

Asar Suti doesn't like Joker, and won't give him magic. Mel doesn't like Joker's music, and doesn't trust him, no matter how he tries to twist logic.

Jason eats bacon, tries to steal more from Wolf. Swept off by Serena, and is getting munched on during R-rated activity in her room.

Lilly and Alain have a conversation about life and death and tequila that is beautifully breaky in ways neither mun really expected. Peter notices Lilly's return but doesn't talk to her. Barty decides that now is the perfect time to explain that he's not an evil murderer, and Lilly eventually cuts him slack. Susan is lovely and big sisterly even when Lilly tells her that Peter is a git, and Meg comes along to see exactly why Lilly's been drinking and finds it a good enough reason to let her keep at it.

Jack and Gil Whimple agree that drawings are better than photographs, and Gil asks for a portrait of Asar-Suti. He meets Asar-Suti and they discuss how difficult it must be to fight crime without the ability to read thoughts. Claire offers to be Jack's follower and asks him to look after Sawyer. Gil Grissome drops by and Jack explains the concept of wabi.

Claire promises to teach Asar-Suti how to ride a bicycle; tries some new food made by Wolf; meets bunny-Garion; and gets to know Younger!Charlie better much to her amusement.

Arthur meets Tiki the faerie who is sweet and promises to help him out. Largeman tries to help him get over his general dislike of parties, and the age-old struggle between tea and coffee is discussed. There are many euphemisms involving tea and sex, and it turns out that Bar has slipped a little extra something into Arthur's tea. Cheeky Bar.

Kingsley comes to meet the infamous Tom Riddle and ask about the deal with Barty. Tom is pleased to learn he's Slytherin.  Gavroche and Tom have some familial bonding. Tom tells him he's glad Gavroche is with their family, since no one ever told him such a thing when he was that age.  Tonks and Tom have a deep discussion in which he talks about what's troubling him, and she does likewise.

Max returns to Milliways after going through two years of unpleasant events back in Roswell. He's an utter wreck, and is reassured and comforted by Liz - in part by getting her into a situation where he has to guide her - and calmed down by Michael, who gets him a sleeping draught from Bar and carries him upstairs to sleep.

Susan meets Neysa again, in human form this time, and explains a few things about Milliways; turns out the existence of a pegasus is difficult for Neysa to accept, which makes Susan wary, and so off they go to the stables together to clear things up. (Slowtimed.) Caspian comes over, and they catch up on current events - the boat, family, friends, etc. (Also slowtimed.)

Tony. Michelle. Angst. Schmoop. That's the thread in a nutshell.

Jaina writes a note to big Anakin and talks with Jag about relationship type issues. Their decision: that whole difference in time/space continuum don't seem to matter much at all.

Lilly drops by briefly to deliver news about Meg; Tom drops by to be distracted and they talk of similarities between places Below and Above; Susan stops by to discuss the palaver and Aziraphael and Crowley; and...Death stops by, for their next-to-last meeting. Roland's not dead yet.

Kitt and KARR schmoop in a brotherly fashion, talk about what's to come in the KR-verse, and end debating the need for dummy cars in their place.

In which Yrael volunteers to be a target for Svava's magic practice

Del and Derry talk to Richard and Joshua. Del is Not Nice to Smeagol. Death and Del and Derry talk. Xander meets Derry, and he and Del talk. He is a puppy. Not literally! Edmund drops by and speaks without thinking. Don't do that to Del. Because you end up with her daughter given to you to take care of for Time Unknown. Moiraine and Del talk. For Great Plot!

Jaina apologizes for acting like a Solo, Tahiri is happy to hear that she is taking lessons from big Anakin instead of Palpatine.  (Personally, this mun thinks Jaina should find a Jedi who HASN'T been on the Dark Side for a teacher, but she's a Solo.  What can you do?

Chur meets Iris and Chip, and they discuss being Bound and Chip's ability to conjure things. Chur meets Svava, and they discuss National Geographic, hyperspace, and alien races. Chur and Lady Death discuss gender interactions.

Molly spots Ray and asks if he's all right, which leads to another round of introductions and the horror that is regular Ray's weird green soda. Tim asks Ray about black hole power sources, gets a yelp and a blank look, and reveals to the bewildered toon Ray that he's the local gadgeteer. And then winds up flying really, really close to the edge of canon-puncture, which Ray fails to recognize because let's face it, the toon version wasn't nearly as bright as the one in the movies.

Kimzilla Summary: Dad (with a secret, shh) stops by to say hi which turns into reminiscing about grandma and then some angst arrives (possibly slowtimed). Yrael, or Snowflake arrives to be petted and provide comfort. Next, Nita runs over and tells Kim a little about her problems and what happened Saturday, this turns into surrogatesisterschmoop and a little canon backstory sharing from Nita. Kim and Nita even get each other to grin (this may be a slowtimed thread). In a decidedly non-slowtimed thread, Tony comes over to say hi. He shares information about the Dina investigation which freaks out Kim - she worries about someone coming after her in the future, Tony is unable to really comfort her and kind of runs away because he can't handle her worry right now.

    Not inna bar

    Alanna and Thom's birthday!

    Not!Raph Andrew thinks about things.

Enter of Your Own Free Will.  Except Not.
