So... hi. *waves* New member of the comm here, was early RPer (read August) then had to stop due to school starting (the same old sob story. :D).

... But my question is how do you stop yourself from REjoining the game?

(oh please let there be a good answer to this! ;) )

Hello everyone. My name is . . . fuck, I'm just going by Sink-mun to drive home my point. And I am a Milliholic. I knew I was addicted from week one, and I fully realized the depths of my problem when I made a humerous remark in a chat and it lead to me creating a character journal and applying as a sink. A Kitchen Sink. I . . . I . . .god, the crack has taken me over utterly. And I love it.

Okay, so we've had a good introduction post. Next I'd like to start a discussion of how one can balance Real Life and Milliways time.

One of the easiest ways to do this is to not enter Milliways for an evening. See if you can occupy yourself with some other activity, try to pre-empt anything that would get you logging on and posting. Schedule another activity for one night a week, go and hang out with some friends, see a movie, read some of the wonderful array of Milliways-canon literature. Try to do this for one night a week, and see how it works out.

Please add one what has worked for you.

So, I only just started playing again, and I'm already hooked. I've also only just started college, where I'm attempting to do five ASs and one GCSE (if you're not English,  that's a really full timetable - average is three or four ASs). And the timezones mean that I'm a bit fucked, 'cause all of the interesting stuff happens late. *sigh*

I'm d00med.

So, this community has been around for a little while, but no one has posted. I would humbly like to start things out by asking why people have joined this community.

I joined because I have been able to create a balance between Milliways and my "real life." I'd like to help others to achieve the same balance.
